Shiri color - more green than gold

I got this in the Shiri color, and it looks like a worn goldish color online, however in person, it is far more acid-green/lime green in color. other than that, the formula itself is pretty good.

Awesome color

Quick Take: highly pigmented
This is a brilliant idea but the execution could use a little improvement. I love that the colors are gorgeous and become more iridescent and rich with each layer. It's easy to apply but doesn't blend super well unless you smudge with your finger which substantially diminishes the effect. I also found that it's not totally crease resistant so I keep it out of my crease. Fortunately, if you just swipe it on your lid it doesn't need to blend much anyway. I got the green color it looks awesome on my lids and I blend another powder or cream shadow color into my crease. This product completely separates so you have to shake, shake, shake. No matter how hard I shake mine though, much of the pigment still sticks to the bottle so this would be darn near perfect if they put a couple those metal balls into the bottle like they put in nail polish. Then even more of that rich pigment would be released into the liquid. It's beautiful and I'd recommend it because the color is rich and can be layered for more intensity and it's easy to apply.

Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented
I actually love this product. For someone that has a hard time with a smokey eye some days this is perfect to just glide on without having to be too artistic with a brush. It is a cool shimmery green color. Great for office or a date. You can layer it on with other colors, just let it air dry first.

Beautiful Shimmer & Staying Power

Quick Take: long lasting, shimmery, easy application
I'd looked at these several times with each visit to Sephora, I finally just decided to buy it. I wore it the day after purchasing and it gave the most beautiful gold shimmer to my eyelids. What worried me was since it looked like it was a watery formula was the staying power. It lasted all day long! I'd love to buy more of these in different colors. Maybe even see more of these offered in different colors! I love the creativity in this product. What I love more is what little effort I have to make to get my eyes to look so pretty. Love it!

Quick Take: fantastic, my favorite eye shadow
Love the sheer wash of color for every day; a second layer intensifies color, or the addition of a second layer to crease and outer lid takes you from office to dinner/drinks in a snap. I had always opted for the softness of a cream shadow but this is so much better. The colors are so sheer, you will want to go darker that what you would normally; best to try it in the store first.

Quick Take: blends easily, highly pigmented, versitile
I am the kinda girl that thinks a little bit of gloss and mascara is 'putting on makeup,' so when I do decide to 'put on make-up' I make sure to do it up proper. I LOVE how this stuff can easily be used as a liner (with a finer brush than included), as a simple shadow AND as a highlighter (smudging/blending with other eye makeup). I don't know how I lived without this. It has the shimmer that I love. It blends fantastically (if you choose to blend it). It goes on steadily and smoothly. I seriously want every one, in every color. Even without eye primer, this stuff has staying power and WONT smudge if you don't want it to!!! I can't say enough great things about this.

I absolutely love the color! It has a cooling effect upon application, stays long, and has a subtle look. I use it all the time and it doesn't use up like my other eyeshadow ... I think it will last a long time.

Great product, beautiful colors. I use Kelly for primer, base color, and sometimes just by itself. Can be used with a light touch, or layered for more richness. Only drawback is that you really have to shake the bottle quite a bit to get it mixed up.

Absolutely the prettiest, boldest eyeshadow I've ever worn and I love love LOVE the liquid aspect of it. Sadly though, almost two weeks after I bought the lovely product I was showing a friend of mine how nice it was and I managed to drop it. Now,because of it being cased in a glass bottle, it shattered immediately. There should be some sort of travel-y version or just put the product in a hard plastic bottle instead of glass. But I recommend this to anyone who doesn't drop things everywhere like I do!

This liquid eye shadow is amazing! Great to use as a base to apply eye shadows on top of it or looks great when used alone. You will need to work quickly when blending because it does dry fast however once it's dry it doesn't crease and last all day.

Loved the concept, but not a fan of the execution. I liked the "wash of color" when I sampled it at the store (and as shown on the model), but when I bought the product and tried it at home, it was much denser than what I sampled and I felt the color was too strong. On the plus side, the color was pretty (Just not on me) and the product did last a long time. Don't let my review prevent you from trying this product, it just wasn't right for me.

Initially, I really liked this product because it had a beautiful shimmer to it with a little color. However, it has been in my makeup drawer for a few months and when I tried to use it recently (after several minutes of shaking to distribute the pigment) I got less than desirable results. I gave it three stars because it is still a decent product, but it definitely doesn't perform as well as the similar Chanel liquid eyeshadows.

I used to have a liquid eye shadow from Chanel that was very similar to this one and I loved it. However, Chanel does not seems to make it anymore and so I got the Starry Eyes Alison shade.
This is so pretty! Easy and foolproof to apply, this is a very nice brown shade with an intense shimmer. As a matter of fact I think it is more highly pigmented than my old Chanel was. But it always looks classy, never overdone. Frankly, I never liked powder eye shadows, and cream shadows tend to dry up fairly quickly in their containers. So for me, liquid is the ideal eye shadow and the Charlotte Ronson Starry Eyes (fitting name, btw!) delivers 100 %. Hopefully they will keep making it.
