I was so excited to buy this set because I love nars and I also love the beach! I am absolutely in love with the lip gloss, oh so flattering, but the illuminizer was too dark for me and made my skin feel oily.. The product is very dark, so dark I had to rub it in to the point of separation. The formula became coming off in rolls and I had to rinse it all off. The eye pencil is gorgeous but how do you sharpen?? It is plastic so.. I don't know what to do. The blush is a must have, however, the highlighter does not seem to do much. Hope this helps. I'm sure everything would work better on tanner/darker skin. Maybe by the end of summer, if I laid out for the full three months.

Quick Take: good value, travel size
I am a big Nars fan, but as for many of us, it can be a bit expensive. This set, on the other hand, is a great value! As for the blush duo, it looks a little small at first glance, but if you do the math, it ends up to be great! A full sized Nars blush is .16 oz for $28-29; however, half of that would be .08 oz and $14-14.5. But, each of these blushes is .85 oz! So the price for that is great. Plus, I don't know about you, but I probably wouldn't be able to use a whole one of those blushes! So this is perfect because you get to try two cult colors. I don't think that either of these colors is too glittery, and they aren't chunky and they have NO fallout. The soft shadow pencil is really creamy, and surprisingly doesn't tend to crease too much, but I would recommend a primer just in case. The gloss seems a bit scary, but sheered out it's very pretty and would be perfect for summer time especially with a tan. Lastly, is the illuminator. My only problem with this is the size. Everything else is a good value, but I got a Buxom 500 point perk and the highlighter in that was much bigger! The consistency of this is great, as it blends vey well for those who have lighter skin, and it isn't orange. Plus, it isn't too shimmery, for it just gives a healthy glow.
The bottom line: get this while it's available, since it's a great value full of amazing products!

Quick Take: good value, illuminator
Everyone is always raving about NARS orgasm blush so I wanted to buy it. NARS offers a lot of sets and palettes with orgasm blush in it so it took a while to finally decide on a product. This set is amazing. I also wanted to try Hungry Heart and it looks absolutely beautiful on.
The rest of the products are fun to play with but the duo blush alone was worth it for me.

This is the second time i've ordered this kit & it is just fantastic! The colors are so versatile that ive been using the powders, shadow & gloss since late summer. Well woth the price!

This is the first time I ever returned anything from Sephora, but there were just soooo many things wrong with this set I couldn't justify keeping it.
First, the gloss was too dark, I thought it would be golden but it is bronze very close to brown, texture-wise it wasn't very impressive either it felt thick and slightly goopy. The illuminator in Copacabana looks gorgeous in the tube but it is very sheer and sparkly, it looked like I didn't have anything on. I wanted to try the highlighter in Hungry Heart, but again not a lot of payoff and just sparkly, nothing too interesting about that; also, the color is too light to look good if you have a tan. The cheek compact is good if you don't have Orgasm but since I have already a full-sized one it didn't made sense to keep it.
However, the biggest disappointment with this set was the eye pencil, it is too light to be a liner and if you use it for all over color it will crease, plus are you supposed to sharpen the plastic container? I though it would be like other sticks where you swivel up the product but it isn't.

Quick Take: travel size
$50 for 4 items. sounds like a good deal (about 12.50 per item) but, upon using everything in the set, i threw out the pencil. it's such a disgrace - no lasting power, creases even when you set it, and it's just blotchy even if you attempt to use it as anything else. so, really, i've paid $50 for 3 usable items. (about $16, 17 each.) now, out of the 3 remaining, only the lipgloss, and illuminator are a just plain lovely, while the blush duo can easily be beat by a drugstore brand. So counting only the products i love (2), and the price I paid (50), coming out to $25 each...i'd save my money for the full size versions. so, even though the blush duo may not be my cup of tea, it's still usable though, unlike the pencil. so please consider that if you decide on purchasing.

I just bought this set a few days ago and I have o say I love it! Great summer colors all in one easy kit. If I were to have a complaint it was just that the lipgloss was a bit to "brown" for my taste as I usually stick with pinks and corals.

Love this set, at first I thought it would be too dark for me but no, everything here blends well, whether you want a dark or light application. I'm a first time Nars buyers, and buying this give me a good idea of the quality of there products and I love it and would buy it full size! I just wish it came with one full size products.

I just died when I saw how beautiful this set went on. Blue eyed girls, you will die! The Penny Copper of the eye shadow pencil is Puuuuuur-fect! And the Illuminatior does more than illuminate, it gives a bronze glow that enhances that beach glow. If you havn't tried Orgasm and Hungry Heart, but that NOW, best blush combo colors ever.

I love everything however I am light skinned and I feel that the illuminator might be a litle too dark for me so I make it work by blending it with my foundation. The shadow pencil also stands out more than I am use to wearing but for those of you with a tan this is the perfect gift set

Quick Take: not for everyone
When i saw this set, i couldnt wait to buy it. I thought i would use it every day. I love the blush and highlighter combo, and the Eye Pencil is ok. But i am not a fan of the lip gloss, and the Illuminator became very sticky an kind of gritty if you sweat even a little. The only thing i would by again is the blush combo.

I've been wanting to try Nars for a while--it seems like anyone who is anyone has been talking up Nars Orgasm, so this seemed like a good opportunity to try it. I'm also drawn to bronzing products. I really like everything in the set...fund to try some new things and look like you were on vacation. Was also pleased that the products didn't make me break out.

Incredible staying party, great colors...understated and worth every penny! I've been addicted to the liquid bronzer ever since I got a sample of Orgasm with an order. The price can't be beat for such an incredible product, The eye shadow coupled with the Copper liner is PERFECT. Highly recommend!!!

I have been wanting to try nars products for a while and heard great things about the blush. The blush in this is ok but it's annoying that I have to be careful with my brush so I'm not getting both colors at once. I might try a full size of orgasm. The illuminator is ok but I doubt I'd use it very often. The lip gloss looks really pretty on me but is SUPER sticky...like cheap lip gloss sticky. I was really shocked by that. The eye pencil is pretty but if I use it further up my lower lid to my crease it will start to crease on me with or without primer. It's not dark enough for me to just use as a eye liner. I wanted to love this so much but I'm returning it.

Quick Take: not for fair-light skin - not a good value
This was my first NARS product and I must say it is NOT for fair-light skin. My skin is light-medium. I gotta say I LOVE the blush duo with Orgasm and the highlight - absolutely beautiful. But its so small you must be careful about your brush dipping into both colors. The lip gloss is dark, but if you apply very little on one lip and spread to the other lip with it - it is very nice.
One of the Sephora associates told me once that she has been doing makeup for so many years and this is by far and away the most difficult set she's ever used. I thought it was just me. The laguna illuminator - you lose value here with only 50% in the tube!! It is very difficult to use and looks splotchy. I cant say this enough: use VERY little of it and it will go a long way - oh and mix it with your foundation or something.
The eyshadow stick - I cant say I like the color much, but using a little of it can make all the difference.
I went to Sephora to ask how to use the set and I waited FOREVER for a gal to get to me to help me use it on my face. After she was done I felt like I was just admitted into a freak show!!! She went heavy on the product and I felt for sure I was going to return it (I bought it online). But I gave it another chance, MY subtle way and decided to keep it as individually I cant justify the price.

I'm new to NARS products and this set was a way for me to try out some of their products. I love it all so far. It seems to be good quality make up. The Sephora rep at the store told me I could mix the illuminator with my regular foundation. I like this ideal so I can control the taness of my face to match the rest of me. I try to keep my face from getting much sun. So this is helpful. The colors in this kit are so pretty and just fun.
