Love this foundation! Gives me amazing full coverage! Looks like second skin. I am oily- sensitive- rosacea skin and this foundation keeps me my skin fresh and non irritated.

Could Be So Much Better...

This foundation was disappointing. At first, it looks so totally amazing! This gives a beautiful medium coverage, natural matte finish, is highly pigmented, and looks nice in pictures. In less than an hour, it starts to separate on your face, looks splotchy and patchy, looks greasy and your whole face looks a mess! It's not long wearing at all, and rubs right off... and you certainly don't want to let any water touch your face, it runs right off. This formula really needs some major work done to it.

I tried another Laura Mercier foundation but was having problems with it. This is great. It stays on number one and it looks like skin. I use less of it because it blends very well but still give a good amount of coverage when I need it. I am happy with it.

Quick Take: flat
I put this on and looked like I was ready to go....into a coffin. I don't know how they managed to do it, but it made my face look dead. And no amount of blush, bronzer or highlighter could get this foundation to look alive. I've had it for 3 months and only used it 3 times. I keep thinking it's just my imagination. But I decided today, it's going back!

I decided to try this when I read good reviews on the product and the MUFE was too sheer and made me break out. I am in my mid 50s and wanted a heavier coverage and this one fits the bill. I wanted a liquid foundation and I didnt want a mineral foundation. I had used bare minerals for years and suddenly it just was not working for me. So far I am satisfied with this product.

This is a great oil-free foundation where the coverage is buildable. It looks very natural even if I do a full coverage application. It does not exacerbate my acne-prone skin and helps me look flawless even if I have a bout of breakouts. It does need a bit of translucent powder when you are done applying. But overall a real winner in my book and I am very picky about foundations.

I love this product and have been using it for years.
As I have a yellow base to my skin and not a pink as most Caucasian women believe. This product is great as it does not make me look pink as many other products have in the past.
Great color match and I think they have a great understanding of their clientele and product line.

I thought I would like this, but it is very drying on my skin. The sales lady also sold me a color that was too dark for me. I did not realize this is oil free. I wore it once, hated it, and returned it to the store.

I was matched to this foundation almost 5 years ago by an associate at the store. The shade is EXACTLY my skin tone, I don't even need to use it on my entire face, and no blending necessary. If that wasn't a good enough reason to keep buying it, it also helps keep my combination skin blemish free through all the seasons. I've tried a ton and until this is discontinued (let's hope that never happens) I will continue to buy it. Best foundation ever.

Duped and disappointed

I have been wearing the Moisture Supreme foundation for several years, and when I recently ran out, I purchased this in the Sephora store rather than online. I'm sorry I did, since the store was out of the Moisture Supreme and the clerk convinced me to get the Oil Free—it would be just fine. It is not. The foundation cakes on and emphasizes forehead wrinkles, is impossible to blend, and several hours later my cheeks broke out in unsightly blotches. What a waste of money. I want my other foundation back and I want Sephora's employees to be more helpful to their customers rather than simply making sure they leave the store with a purchased product.

The consistency of the new formula is fine, but the colors are utterly different! I bought the shade I usually use, and it's far too yellow. I'll need to exchange it for another shade--or return it altogether.

Finally!!!!!!, after many years of looking for the right foundation I found it. I have Rosacea and my skin is very sensitive. This foundation will cover all the redness without using concealer or corrector. It is very lightweight, oil-free and gives a very flawless look. My skin has not irritated and I've been using it for 3 months now. I love it!!

Ah, Laura Mercier, I have to Agree with recent complaints about this product. What has happened to our favorite Foundation? The base is yellow, blends poorly and grows splotchy through the day. LM has been some of my favorite product, but I'm afraid this will be going back to Sephora. Very sad indeed.

The best foundation I have ever used. Not only does it provide flawless looking coverage but I have found my acne prone skin has been clearing up since I began using this foundation. I have tried many highly recommended brands of foundation and none compares to the quality of Laura Mercier.
