Not acne-prone skin friendly

I was only able to use this product for about a week before I broke out. I have combination skin, and my t-zone tends to get really oily. This cream just made it even worse. Too bad I didn't get to use it longer to see if it's really effective in minimizing hair.

Didn't Work For Me

I used this for two weeks and was still plucking like crazy (on a daily basis). I didn't notice any difference in hair growth on my face, so I decided to go back to my other moisturizer that has anti-aging benefits.

Quick Take: moisturizing, minimizes hair, worth every penny
Dermadoctor can have pricy products, but they're usually worth it. This baby is no different! In less than one week, I have gone from shaving my upper lip every day to every other day. I haven't noticed blemishes forming, and I have very acne prone skin.
I HIGHLY recommend this, especially if you have PCOS like I do. $50 is much cheaper than any laser treatment!

Finally!

Finally found some relief with this product. I have coarse hair on my upper lip and around my chin area. Although you will still need to continue your current mode of hair removal, this product does assist in minimizing the reapprearance of hair. The dispenser is great as well - a little goes a long way.

I found no difference in using this product, other than an increase in blemishes, like other users have noticed. If you are acne-prone, do not buy this product.

Quick Take: fabulous!
I love this product. I find it works well on my upper lip and eyebrows. I have course hair on my face AND my face is very sensitive but it has not reacted badly to having this on it at all! Minimization of hair growth is slow, but my hair is so tough its bound to work faster on others. I would get it!

I'm on my second jar and I'm afraid the effects are diminishing. The first jar was a "blessing." I have very coarse facial hair that causes small wounds when plucked. This creme did not stop growth but made it much thinner and softer for easier removal. Maybe if it keep at it??

Clogged pores

I used this product for 4 weeks. I did not notice any difference in hair growth. I felt it was clogging my pores so I discontinued use and my skin cleared up. I restarted it to see if it had the same effect and my pores clogged up again.

I reviewed this after using the first jar and still had hopes as I thought there was some minimal difference in the "appearance of hair". That is the key - I don't think it really diminishes the amount of hair, which is what most of us were really looking for, but may affect the 'appearance' - as in slightly, I say SLIGHTLY less coarse/black. All in all, it doesn't do it for me and I'm really sorry it doesn't. Decent moisturizer but at this price I can do better on that as well.

Quick Take: hair-minimizing
I have light skin and dark, thick hair so I have always fought a losing battle with unwanted facial hair -especially on my chin. I purchased this hoping, but not really expecting it to do anything. I was pleasantly surprised: it does what it says it does, minimizes hair growth and appearance. It doesn't get rid of hair completely. I still have to pluck every morning, but I spend way less time than I used to and feel much more confident about the state of my facial hair.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I have had hormonal issues for sometime and have struggled to find something to complement regular waxing. I started using this product about 2 weeks ago (after a waxing appointment). I have to say I am greatly impressed. It really does slow down and even stops hair re-growth. It seems like I may be able to cut down my waxing appointments to once a month - instead of 1-3 times a month. I will have to check back in later...
People who are disappointed may not be using it twice a day as indicated on the packaging. Also, remember it doesnt remove hair - it minimizes regrowth.

I returned some products and while I was at the counter I asked the rep the name of the beautiful vivid orange lipstick she was wearing because she was very close to my complexion and she told me it would look great on me. I told her that I stayed away from brights or any colors that would bring attention to my lips because of hair growth. the rep recommended this moisturizer and so far I see a difference in the thickness of the hair. I only use it around the hair growth but I can tell it would be moisturizing enough for the rest of my face. It is a little pricey for the amount you get but a little goes a long way. so far no pore clogging which is usually the case with moisturizers around hair growth. I will probably review in a few weeks when I hope to be done with the first jar. I will buy it by the case if it work because the alternative is laser and/or creams that are so expensive and have many side effects. I will be writing a review on this wonderful rep too...Sephora rocks!
