Worth the price!

It works great! I have long straight lashes and this curls them beautifully. It's pricy and not as great as the Shu but it gets the job done. Def better then anything you can find at the drugstore.

FANTASTIC JOB LANCÔME!
-04.13.13
Quick Take: fantastic
I was devastated when the Shu Uemura eyelash curler went off the market. I tried, what seemed liked millions, of other brands to no avail. However, my Sephora make-up artist recommended Lancome's new curler. It is WONDERFUL! Equal if not better than my Shu curler. GREAT JOB LANCÔME!

Wow!

I never knew that my lashes could look so good! I had 2 lash curlers before this one and they just didn't cut it. I have one eye that is very difficult to curl my lashes. The outer corner just wont curl (I couldn't get it in the curler), but with this one I can curl my lashes on both eyes with no problem.

It's the Shu eyelash curler!
-02.11.13
Quick Take: fabulous
I needed to replace my Shu Uemura eyelash curler (the pad had started to split). I almost cried when the lady at Sephora told me they're no longer sold in the US! However, apparently this one is made by the same company. I brought it home, and sure enough, it is the EXACT same as my Shu eyelash curler. Literally the only difference is that this one says Lancome on it. :) (I'm puzzled by the people who think it's any different... compare them side-by-side, people!) Anyway, same great eyelash curler as it has always been. Hands-down, better than any other brand I've ever tried.
For those with long eyelashes (like mine ;) it is best to curl them close to your eyelid, then again a little further out, then again at the end of the eyelashes. I've always felt like if I had to pick one beauty product to take with me to a deserted island, it would probably be my Shu (now Lancome) eyelash curler. Love this thing.

One of the best curlers I have invested in! If you're weary about the pricing - it is well worth the investment. I use it everyday and it doesn't cease to amaze me.

Not Quite Shu Umera
-02.02.13
I was referred to this product as a substitute for Shu Umera, which I didn't feel like ordering directly from their direct site when I was in Sephora. I was told that Lancome bought Shu Umera (?) and this was made by the same company now. Don't know how accurate that is, but I gave it a shot. It's not quite the same - it's sized or shaped a little differently. I will use this one, but I'm probably going back to Shu Umera.

Not worth it!
-01.31.13
I bought it because the sales girl told it was the best one ever, but I didn't like it at all! It didn't curl my lashes that well and it's too expensive! There's cheaper ones that work better!

Just okay...
-01.23.13
Quick Take: gentle
Yes, this eyelash curler is very gentle... but its nearly impossible to get it to the base of my lashes. Ended up with the "L" shaped curl/kinked lashes. It's really just okay...

Not good for long lashes
-01.18.13
Quick Take: difficult
I bought the Le Curler after a salesgirl recommended it for my "almond" eye shape. However, my naturally long lashes don't fit in the window! I have to struggle to maneuver the curler around my lashes so that they all fit, which takes 3-5 minutes.
However, the curl that I finally get is amazing and ALMOST makes battle worth it.

Waste of money
-01.18.13
Quick Take: $23 too much
My eyelashes seem straighter as I've gotten older and I wanted to try a curler. It did almost nothing. The one star is for not hurting my lashes.

I have slanted asian doube lid eyes, and this curler works for me. The Sephora one didn't. I like that it's flat, and wider. But it does the same job as the other asian brand curler, wish it was a tad cheaper.

Pinch-less, Ouch-less Curly Girly Lashes
-11.29.12
I am thrilled to have found a replacement for my favorite Shu Uemura eyelash curler that is no longer available in the U.S. The Lancome eyelash curler outperforms other curlers (including Tweezerman, et al.) and provides a pinch-less, ouch-less eyelash curling experience (not unlike Shu). The price point is about the same, so it is an "investment" that I am more than willing to make as a Baby Boomer whose lashes are becoming an increasingly scarce feature that must be preserved at all costs. However, if you consider the fact that it takes about 9 months for an eyelash to grow back, the investment is well worth it. Thank you Lancome for filling the void left by Shu.
