Quick Take: lightweight, fast-absorbing
I loved the original formula in the tube. I was disappointed that sephora stopped making it. The original antishine formula held up to it's claim. The tube was a full 1.oz size! I don't really care for this version much. It's not as long lasting like the original. Please sephora bring back the original in the tube.

Quick Take: lightweight, moisturizing
I have combination skin. My face gets really dry around my mouth, but really oily on my forehead and chin. This primer combats both, and my skin as a whole is noticeably better than it was. The lotion-y feel is great when applying and it smells nice. Not heavy at all. I'm thoroughly happy with this product. I was using Smashbox's hydrating primer before this, but will def. be using this product. It's great and half the price of Smashbox.

It feels a bit to heavy in contrast to other products I've tried and I have to use a lot in order for it to work well on my skin. Other than that its good for day to day use under a light amount of make up.

I was told this was a big seller. I am sure it was the price point. I purchased 1 for me and 1 for my niece. We both had the same experience it was not smooth made our foundation fell and look bad.

So, I was told by many associates that this product is a best-seller and works wonders! And I guess at this price point, it does the trick. But I find it's not that long-lasting. I have had better luck with other mattifiers, granted they cost about 2x as much as this one. But, I suppose, if $20 is your max this product is good buy. You might want to carry some kind of blotting sheets or powder for quick touch-ups later on in the day. Also, I have heard this is the new formula and the older formula was better. I can't say that myself because this formula is the only one I have tried.

Quick Take: fantastic
I bought this because during the summer my make-up tends to melt on my face and look really shiny and plastic-like. So far its been working pretty well, although its only Spring and I will have to wait until it gets really hot before I know for sure. It's lightweight and moisturizing, which I like.

I recently purchased Sephora's anti-shine foundation primer and it's my go to primer....forever!!! I have oily skin and this product keeps me shine free for a good 6-7 hours. I was impressed!

I have been using this primer for about two years. I have this one and the regular one. This one is great because it keeps your skin from getting oily. Even at 58, I still get some oil in my skin after wearing makeup all day. This primer continues to make my makeup look fresh all day, and I have gotten a lot of compliments on how my skin looks so beautiful. Highly recommend this over the more expensive brands.

Absolutly in love with this! My skin is super oily and this helps keep my skin oil free and make-up stay on all day long. Try it with the Sephora 8 hour matt foundation and setting powder if your really oily like me.

Not as good as before...plus 50% more expensive

I used the tub one and also feel that the quality isn't as good. The current primer feels heavier due to it being more cream based whereas before, it was silicon based. I had the old tub in my make-up kit and noticed that it was double the size. So not only did Sephora change the product, but they also cut the packaging in half making it twice as expensive. Will not buy again.

I had previously purchased the Anti-Shine Foundation Primer when it was packed in a tube and had a clear silicone base to it. Which worked great because it held my oily tzone at bay. I also live in AZ so I need something that will prevent my makeup from melting off. The new product even though I love the packaging isn't as great as the previous product. I don't stay as "matte" as before and within an hour I am shiny. Once this bottle is gone I'll look into something else that will keep me less shiny.

This primer felt heavier (like I was adding a thick layer of lotion to my face). Although my make-up stayed intact, it did nothing for helping prevent my face getting shiny. I used a sample and wouldn't purchase the full-sized product.

This product is the most inexpensive but not the best. Around my eyebrows the makeup starts to flake and it does not hold for a full 8 hours. I also feel that my skin is shinier rather than "oil free"
