This was the first translucent powder I have ever used and I am loving it so far. I have only had it for a week now but it keeps me matte all day I don't have to touch up at all and my make up still looks great after 10 hours of working. I have SUPER oily skin so its a big deal to NOT get shiny at all during the day after using this product.
The packaging does make it leak thru the hinges a little bit and I do wish it was easier to make the powder come out from the bottom but aside from that I do like the actual product and the results.

Great powder on a budget

Quick Take: sheer coverage
This is a great powder if you are on a budget - it goes on smooth, it absorbs nicely, lasts a decent amount of time. I would agree with other reviewers however about the case... the flip top lid shaker takes a bit of force to open, which in turn pops the entire lid casing off, which appears to be too loose. Use caution and it will be fine.

I have 30ish-40ish skin that still gets oily. Love the matte finish of silica powers, but they almost absorbed too much old and left my skin a bit dry. This powder is a nice balance. I love this container! Great for loose powder on the go -- doesn't leak out everywhere. Sometimes I need a bit extra and have to close it again, shake gently, then open again to get more out. Never more than one extra time though -- a little goes a long way.

Wonderful Product, but....

This is a great translucent silky powder. It makes pores appear less visible and gives a porcelain finish. BUT....It is so hard to get the powder out of the container. I ended up pouring the powder in to a shallow dish and dipping my powder puff and powder brush in to that. Also, there isn't as much product in the container as I expected.

I loved this translucent powder and combined with Urban Decay makeup setting spray it kept my T-zone oil free for a good part of the day, HOWEVER, I really hate the way you get it out of the container. It has a tiny hole at the top that delivers a very small amount so you have to open & close it several times to get enough powder to do your whole face.

I never did get into using a Setting powder before but I though I'd give this one a try after trying out so many out there and I must say, I am very very satisfied with this product. The packaging is awesome because it comes spill proof so you dont drop it and spill too much and the texture is feather weight

I read the reviews about others breaking out after using this, but I decided to try it anyway. I really liked the way it set my makeup because it was so smooth and lasted all day (6:30am to about 7pm). I never got shiny and my makeup still looked fresh when I went to take it off at night! The sad part is that I broke-out really bad. These were huge, gross looking pimples all along my cheeks and chin. I waited it out to see if maybe it was just a flare-up or hormones and not related to this powder but it lasted for more than 2 weeks so I had to stop using this. As soon as i stopped using this my skin got better. I guess I will stick to my Clinique loose powder since I get the same finish.

I hate how foundation feels so a wonderful product like this lets me enjoy foundation with out the foundation feel. Absolutely amazing, works on oily skin as well and makes my face feel smooth and silky. This is highly recommended by me! Thank you sephora! Beautiful product!

Great Travel/On-the-Go Powder

Good on-the-go powder. Great for touchups. Doesn't look too white and powdery. I wear this over my moisturizer to mattify my face a bit and it leaves me with a soft, matte finish. It also photographs well and doesn't look really white, which is important. In pictures, my skin looks so smooth that you would think I'm wearing foundation and it's honestly just this.
I give it 4 stars because it runs out very quickly. I don't wear makeup or this powder every day so I thought it'd last a lot longer than it did. I used to have the Laura Mercier setting powder, which is considerably larger, but it lasted far longer than this product in that size ever would.
If you use a setting powder regularly for foundation or just to mattify/absorb oil, I wouldn't recommend making this your daily powder cause you'll spend more money on a couple of small containers of this when you could get a much larger one from another brand for less money. This is a great on the go powder, something to keep in your purse or with your "travel makeup".

I was satisfied with this setting powder. It definitely helped my oily complexion stay nice and matte all day. Only complaint I have is it ran out so fast! I used a little on most days of the week, and it lasted me only a month :( Worth the buy, though. Oh, and last thing, if you apply a little too much, you will have white powder around your eyes/eyebrows, so apply a minimal amount.

I have tried other white-colored setting powders and this one just seems to wear nicely and the white isn't to crazy to where I look oddly pale. I am not 100% sure how long throughout the day it should work but I do think come later afternoon it seems to wear on me (or shine thru?).

I've tried lots of powders and this is by far the best! Non-drying and very smooth... Doesn't change the color of your foundation either! Keeps my oily skin matte all day (along wiht UD's setting spray) Love it!

I was really excited to try this setting powder over my full coverage cream foundation. However, I've noticed I have to touch up my powder throughout the day to reduce shine and absorb oil. Also, with the way it's packaged, the powder leaks through the hinged lid.

This is a really great product. I bought it at first just to try something new and this was not a budget breaker. I ended up loving it and now I use it every day :) I have acne and oily skin but this helps keep my skin from getting oil with out drying it out and it makes my foundation last longer:)

My skin is super oily, but this is the best setting powder i have used ( I am a make-up artist and have tried a few). It sets my foundation and keeps my skin oil/shine free all day! I wont go out with out putting it on!
