Quick Take: hideous
You put this stuff on w/the brush and it starts to ball up, leaving brown balls of either skin or product showing up on your skin and on the brush! It's awful! I even tried to put the gel on w/my fingers & it did the same thing. I tried it on my arm & even my thigh to see if it did the same thing, AND IT DID! I had little brown balls of gel or skin or whatever falling all over my floor, the sink, etc.! AWFUL! I'd give it NO stars if I could and am definitely going to return this and stick with St. Tropez.

I have tried my fair share of self tanning products. This is a great face product. Although the color doesn't last on my face because I wash it twice a day, it looks wonderful underneath my daily makeup. I apply it in the morning, let it dry, then apply my face makeup, etc. The brush, however fell off after opening so I've been using it without the brush and using my fingers which blends better than the brush did.

Quick Take: gross
Purchased this based on advice received from a Sephora beauty rep. Was chunky and balled up on my skin, the product also came out really quickly and was messy. I used it 6 times just to make sure and threw it out after.

Quick Take: not effective, unpleasant feeling, pore clogging
This product seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, and I ususally like the Sephora products Ive bought- but their self tanner is a big let-down. It goes on feeling kind of slimy and is not easy to even out. it left an OK tint, but the supposed 'self-tan' was almost invisible even after several daily applications. And it clogged my pores! Ughh- not what it claims to be! : (

Quick Take: natural looking, easy to use
I have tried my fair share of self tanning products. This is a great face-only product and you can easily control the deepness of the tan by how much you apply. The brush is great, no messy mistakes, and by far the BIG winning feature for me is there is NO lingering fragrance.

I have combination skin and was a little skeptical that I wouldn't break out. It's been about 2 weeks since I started using it and so far excellent. The price was great and what I really love besides achieving a sun kissed color is the built in brush applicator. Kudos to the Sephora team to come up with such a fantastic idea. This really helps blend the gel flawlessly over your face and control how much or little you need to achieve the desired tan! Another must purchase again. I will be using this all year long.

I loved the Sephora self tanning spray so I decided to try the gel for my face. The first time I bought the gel, it had big chunks. I took it back and exchanged it, hoping it would be different. It wasn't.

I was really pleased with the results of using this product. I am liking Sephora products as much as the other brands they sell. It was very light, blended well, and didn't make me look orange. I'm rather fair-skinned, and the result was a nice glow to the skin. I love the brush component; works very nicely to spread and blend the product.

i used it last night and i find the color to look natural. Its not drastic but it does show. I guess as long as you dont over do it you wont look orange. It was quick to dry and there isnt much smell. Good for the price

Quick Take: amazing
I love this! I needed an affordable product to keep my face tan, and I finally found one! Between using my clairsonic, exfoliating regularly, and doing peels, I can not keep my face tan for long. I use this like I would my day time serum, its adds such a natural and beautiful glow under my make-up, talk about holy grail product!

don't waste your money

Quick Take: gross, not worth the money
CONS: gives barely any color (if any), the brush does nothing (except make the product appear fancier than it truly is), feels greasy, feels like it clogs skin
PROS: smells good compared to other self-tanners (but i think that's because it doesn't actually tan), doesn't dry your skin, relatively inexpensive
BOTTOM LINE: the product is pretty cheap, but don't waste your money because you'll end up buying something else to replace it
