Quick Take: absorbs quickly, scented
This is a good product for pale skin tones. After 3 days of application it gives you a nice toasty appearance (note: as said by other reviewers, this product does not give a deep glow). The color looks very natural and doesn't streak. It also doesn't wash off after a shower (don't use a scrub). It has a medium perfume smell when you first apply it but by the morning the smell is barely noticeable. I've never had a good experience with gradual tanners until I tried this product. But, it would be nice if they could make one for medium skin tones! I would recommend it only to fair skins tones like myself, who don't tan naturally.

Wonderful Stuff
-05.12.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, scented, rich
Self-tanners usually turn me mustard or orange and inevitably there are streaks. Not this one! It does take several days of application, but the change is subtle and the color is lovely--a light toast, no orange, no yellow. Looks very natural and just enough to keep my very pale skin from looking ghostly. Also hides various little scars, veins, etc. on legs. Smells delicious, dries quickly, goes on smoothly with no streaks. I should buy a case!

This does... nothing?
-05.11.13
Quick Take: scented
I used this on my legs every day for a week... and saw no results. If it did make a difference, it was unnoticeable. I have very fair skin, and I'm aware this is a gradual bronzing lotion, but... I expected more. It certainly smells strongly though. Like another fair-skinned reviewer said, I'm glad I only paid $5 for it. Will not buy again.

Great Product!

Quick Take: absorbs quickly
Was hesitant to try this because all bronzers/self tanners have that awful smell, but this was not at all like that! It has a minimal tanner smell that fades quickly after applying. Also gave a nice glow to my skin, not at all orange and no streaky marks on my hands after applying (I did wash them). Great product overall!

It's *that* good!
-05.04.13
Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly, rich, gentle
If you want to even out your tan, this product seems to be an absolutely perfect choice.
I tried a self-tanner "once" and bad things happened. Not sure why I gave this one a chance (maybe the sale price and that I needed to add $5 for free shipping ;) )
I've olive skin and tan easily. Even though it's still spring, my arms are already much darker than my legs. I gave this lotion a try and I'm in LOVE!
I've used it for 4 days in a row, leaving it on at least 4 hours before showering it off (it's a lovely smell, but a little strong). My legs are nearly caught up to my arms and it's been nearly effortless.
I only rave about something if it really works. This. Really. Works.

Great Moisturizing Bronzing Lotion

Quick Take: absorbs quickly, scented
This works really well. And it adds just a touch of shimmer, while doing a great job moisturizing.

It's okay
-04.29.13
Quick Take: scented
Doesn't get very dark. It didn't specify that it was a "gradual" self tanner. Thought I was getting a self tanner, not a body lotion that gradually gets you super subtly tinted.

AMAZING FOR LIGHT SKIN!! PLEASE DO NOT DISCONTINUE
-04.27.13
Dear Sephora,
If you discontinue this in the U.S. you will forever break my heart and leave me very unhappy. I am very fair skinned and this is the best thing I have found that isnt a full on self tanner. It moisturizes like a dream, smells great, and knocks out the paleness to my skin. I love this... PLEASE KEEP IT, PLEASE !! PRETTY PLEASE!! :(

Wow!
-04.26.13
Quick Take: scented, absorbs quickly, radiant, streak free
For $5, this stuff is GOOD! I usually stay away from self tanners because of the multitude that I have tried, most have left behind a streaky, unnaturally orange mess. Not this! I put this on last night before bed and noticed some difference almost immediately, but I really noticed it this morning. My skin really did have a sun kissed glow! I have been tanning, so I'm not sure how well this would work for someone with really light skin. It may work better for people with a subtle base tan. I will say that this did not give a just-got-back-from-getting-a-spray-tan look, but if you read the description, it doesn't claim to. This lotion claims to give a subtle, radiant glow that builds over time, and it definitely does just that. Its worth the $5! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it does have that characteristic self-tanner smell that lingers on your skin.

Disappointed..
-04.25.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly
I have really fair skin so I was hoping that this would give me some sort of color. I applied this on my legs twice a day for four days. It moisturizes, but there's no color, except on my hands even after I washed them. I'm glad that I didn't spend more money than $5 because this product definitely isn't worth it. I will not be buying this again.

Great for the price
-04.07.13
I did not notice any difference in color, maybe a little. I used it everyday. Probably for lighter skin tones. I would say I was darker than medium tone so that is probably why I did not see anything. Does moisturize, absorbs quickly, no unpleasant spell. Can't go wrong for the price.

UNBELIEVEABLE Deal!!!
-03.21.13
Quick Take: absorbs quickly, natural color, moisturizing, nice scent
My legs are so white they border on being phosphorescent! As a result, self-tanners & bronzers tend to look very fake on me. I was skeptical about the quality of this one given the price, but decided to try it anyway based on previous positive reviews. Ok, I've now ordered like 6 of these! I can't believe how quickly & easily it absorbs, the color is very natural-looking, my legs are so soft & moisturized, and I think it smells great. My legs have this beautiful sun-kissed glow and my skin has a nice "shimmer" to it that's not too over the top. I HIGHLY recommend this bronzer, especially at this price!!!

for the price? great!!!!
-03.18.13
I was using the St Tropez comparable product, given the price and quality I am a convert! Love this product, something tells me the $5 price tag is wrong, this is a great buy and good way to ease in to the summer glow. Bonus: not too "smelly"...

Great everyday lotion. It builds color nice and slow delivering just a hint of color with each application. Also smells nice and has a slight shimmer.

LOVE THIS!

I have REALLY fair skin and I'm always terrified to use any kind of self tanner. I bought this because I wanted to give self tanning one more shot, and I trust Sephora. I was not let down. It is just a touch of color, and it's not orangey at all. It is perfect for my skin. The smell is not best which is really the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars.

Pretty good?
-01.20.13
This is nice. I purchased it because I was having problems with other self tanners by breaking out on my chest-even brands you wouldn't think would cause problems. This one didn't cause that problem, but the color is too dark for my fair skin, and would be way too much work to make even. Hopefully they develop some other colors.

I have been using the Josie Maran product for a few years (L'Oreal airbrush spray for the summer) but decided to give this a shot. The Josie Maran is going back! The Sephora brand is cheaper, more moisturizing and a bit more color than Josie Maran. I was surprised I liked it so much more.
The scent is non-existent on this self tanner, it just smells like lotion. Everyone will claim that but I always smell like the bottom of a garbage can (I'm looking at you, Clarins and St. Tropez).
My wallet and my pale legs are grateful!

The lotion is fine. It does not streak, but it also does not add much color.
