Makeup Melts Away
-05.21.13
Quick Take: milky
I was skeptical about this at first. Using an oil to cleanse makeup off? But after hearing YouTube Beauty Guru Melissa (Melmphs) talk so highly of it, I had to try it -- and I wasnt disappointed. It takes your makeup off so nicely. Has a little fragrance, but nothing over the top, and I am sensitive to smells. Melts makeup off. I use a small round disc spounge (from Sally's Beatuy) to help wash it all off with water. Then I wash my face with my CeraVe facewash. If you use this properly, it works great.

I have been using all kinds of Asian brand cleansing oil. I decided to give it a try but it was not a good experience. It was very hard to rinse off. It took me a while to get rid of all of the oil that I put on my face. I already returned this cleanser ...

As good as Shu Uemura
-05.19.13
Quick Take: smooth
The Shu Uemura Cleanisng Oil was one of my favorite products but the company is only selling direct, it seems, thus making it harder and harder to find their products. This oil is the perfect substitute. It smells nice and cleans off makeup very well.

This cleansing oil does the job but it is perfumed and it feels like a cleanser that you could buy from the supermarket.

Read what the product is actually for...
-05.10.13
Personally I love this stuff. I've tried several others and this one is the best so far for makeup removal, especially for the price. I've read a lot of the reviews and disagree with some simply because they don't reflect what the product is for or how it's supposed to be used. This is a makeup remover. You should still use a regular face wash/cleanser after.... as you should with every makeup remover. Also, this is to be used on dry skin. It says that online and on the product. You're not supposed to mix it with water. If it hasn't worked well for you before, try it this way. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I can use organic coconut oil as makeup remover as well. Good luck!

OILY
-05.09.13
It leaves an oily film on your skin and you have to use a cleanser on top of it. IN addition it does not remove my mascara (not waterproof)

Great Cleansing Oil
-05.03.13
Quick Take: milky
After trying the Nude Cleansing Oil and the Josie Maran oil, this is now my go-to, only one I will use. Thank you Sephora.
Also the pump quality is great - no one else has a such a good "delivery" system.

Work really great taking out all make up even the water proof, I only wish the product can come in a better container because the one they use broke so easily and you waste too much...

First time using a cleansing oil.
-04.30.13
Quick Take: moisturizing, oily
I have super dry skin and I wanted to try a cleansing oil without spending too much money. I do think you get a lot of product for what you pay for, but I don't think I'd buy this again. While it was gentle on my skin and removed my waterproof mascara, it was IMPOSSIBLE to rinse off. And it seems I'm not the only one with this problem. I try to rinse off as much as I can, then end up wiping the rest off on my towel. Maybe the oil that's left behind is what's been keeping my skin moist, but I can't help thinking there's a better product out there.

Not so removeable cleanser
-04.28.13
I am sorry to say that this product was terrible. It is an oil cleanser that is supposed to lotion up when wet and remove makeup but when I added water, the product never came off. Horrible.

Good for the price
-04.26.13
Quick Take: cleansing oil
I've used several cleasing oils. Shu Uemura is my favorite, but Bobbi Brown and Philosophy make decent ones too. This one is less than half the price of the least expensive Philosophy oil. Its.... ok.
What it does: Melts off even stubborn layers of waterproof eye makeup with no problem.
What it doesnt: Wash off easily.
This is my biggest complaint about this oil. Even when I add water to it after melting the makeup it's difficult to get the oil off. It should turn much more milky than it does. My solution is that I follow it with Perricone Nutritive cleanser. For the price alone I gave it 4 stars. If it was any more expensive I would have gone with 3.

First time I used it and I fell in love! I have combination skin and after I wash my face it always seems to be dry and tight but after using this my skin felt pretty good. I will continue to use it and see how it goes

Ok
-04.24.13
I usually use DHC facial oil, but this is a larger size & cheaper price. It works about half as well as dhc, it does not remove regular mascara, like DHC does which makes me wonder just how well a makeup remover it is. I tend to like it in the AM after doing my night routine.

Works but too difficult to wash off
-04.22.13
This works to remove my makeup but then I could not get this oil off my face. It took 2 washes with a separate cleanser to be rid of the oil from my face.
