Quick Take: perfect
I liked it quite well the first time I sprayed this in a store. The cocoa blended with floral is heavenly, and on me it dries down to a sweet musky/powder scent. My boyfriend got that look in his eye the first time I wore it, and another male friend says the scent makes him want to lick my arm (or wherever I put it) when I wear it. This one's a huge hit for me. I love the way it works with my chemistry.

Quick Take: travel-friendly, good value
Initially it smells like chocolate pudding or hot cocoa... AMAZING! But the dry down smells like Play-Doh, so I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Quick Take: soft but powerful
This fragrance really sounded good. The smaller description left out a lot of the florals, so it was a surprise that it was so floral. This has an oriental powdery note on me, but not on my sister. It has become my husband's favorite out of the three of these I ordered (Excess and Tainted Love being the other two). I think it's interesting to note that this was my least favorite out of the three in the beginning, but my most favorite after it has been on more than two hours.

No no no no. I literally love every one of Tokyomilk's fragrances so I don't understand how they got this one so wrong. I sprayed it at the store and my boyfriend said I smelled exactly like my hair after getting it highlighted. It smells like a salon where a million chemical processes are being performed. And contrary to the reviews, I can still smell this on me 7 hours later. So happy I never ordered it. If you want a sweet fragrance, stick to tainted love.

Quick Take: seductive, sweet
I read the reviews that it doesn't last long but the scent seemed so interesting I had to try it. I just got it and sprayed some on. Yes it calms down quickly but it's been on my skin and it smells amazing, it's changed to a sweet musky scent and when I first sprayed it was very cacao. I think it's worth it but its always hard to buy fragrance without smelling it first

Quick Take: good value
My friend got me this and the lotion for Christmas. The smell is very sweet and it fades a little into a nice simple sweet smell. I like it, and I hope it stays on long enough to where I can smell it all day. I can still smell the lotion on my hands from earlier today.

Smells like chocolate when you first put it on then it smells like a warm sweet smell after its been on for a little while. Love it although when I ask people if they like it they say not really.

Not the best tokyomilk

I had a sample of this. It smelled very nice but isn't unique like other TokyoMilk scents. Just smells like a usual department store brand. Not that flowery, more of a heavy musky scent. However the last notes of vanilla beans really lingers deeply and that's very indulgent. But the notes before them don't stand out.
I'm giving it 4 stars because it's still a great perfume on its own; just a bit disappointing coming from TokyoMilk.

Didnt work for me

I was intrigued by the combination of notes in this fragrance. Unfortunately,it smells overwhelmingly of Play-Dough with perhaps a hint of cake flour. Ive got 2 other TM fragrances that arent perfect on their own but are great for blending with other perfumes, but I cant imagine anything that would go with this. I ended up returning it

Quick Take: good value
The vanilla and cacao elements are a little overdone with this offering. Too sweet and I felt like I smelled like a piece of pastry. Usually fragrances with vanilla notes wear well on me (i.e. Tainted Love). This one had to go back. I gave it three stars because the line (TokyoMilk) does offer good value in terms of size for cost. I only wish Sephora stores in California carried the line to try before buying.

The vanilla and cacao harmonize with the sweeter florals: lotus, jasmine heliotrope. The musk underlies everything, warming it up but not too aggressive. It reads somewhere between woodsy and powdery to me, with the floral and food highlights. Overall, a comforting scent.

I am a fan of the Tokyomilk Dark line every since I bought Arsenic (which is amazing).
I thought Bittersweet would be fun to try since it's said to smell like chocolate.
And it does. A lot like a tootsie roll as one girl put it in an earlier review.
It also smells very powdery, sweet and like the other scents in the series, strong, so don't spray too much!
I don't think I'll be buying this one again but, this is a really great line so pick a bottle, do some research if you aren't familiar with some of the herb/flower names (I didn't know and google helped :) and you're bound to find a favorite.

I loved the idea of this perfume. The notes listed are my cup of tea and the bottle is gorgeous. However, I found the scent to be too masculine on me. Two of my friends described the scent on me as "hair perm solution" and "rotting wood". I am hoping to have better luck with some other scents from the Tokyomilk Dark line.

This scent is really unique, i don't think i ever smelled anything like it. When i first sprayed it i thought it smelled like a strong bug spray but that quickly faded into a warm sweet chocolate scent with a hint of powdery florals. I Think this will be a good Winter scent for me. I will have to wear it more to see how much i really like it but it is definitely interesting to say the least .

Quick Take: good value
I love this scent. Its sweet and smells like rich chocolate. The chocolate note doesn't seem to be dark cacao to me, it's more like the chocolate of a tootsie roll candy. It has a very slight powdery note and the musk adds depth to the sweetness. Great value!

Warm and sweet

Quick Take: inviting, mysterious
I actually bought this at a boutique in my neighborhood but thought I would review it nonetheless.
The scent is warm and musky, but very sweet and rich. I'm usually a floral gal but I find myself being drawn to these types of scents recent.y. I decided to go with it..and am happy that I did. I get lots of compliments on this scent also!
I only gave 4 stars because I'm not a fan of how the fragrance transforms after a few hours; gets a little cheap smelling and too sweet. It may just disagree with my own chemistry, though. The scent is long lasting however, as I can still smell hints of it on my clothes days later.
