Not For Me

I'm updating a review I posted in July. I had recently started using the product at the beginning of the month and I thought it was great. Unfortunately, since then the product has been making my skin break out like crazy. I have never had breakouts this bad. Clearly this product line is not for me.
I still do love the lotion, it makes my skin feel really soft. I just can't handle the cleaners and toner.

Quick Take: everything they say it is and more!
Have been using Clinique "3-step" for a few years now. Wish I had started way sooner. It's nice to be able to customize the routine according to season. During the summer I could bathe in the #3 clarifying lotion! but during the colder months I'll use the #2. My skin looks pretty good for 61 & I owe it all to the 3-step Clinique. I will use one of their "extra' creams at nite on occasion.

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I LOVE this set of products and no matter what else I try I always come back to it. I bought this kit in particular because even though I wasn't yet out of my old bottles I was going on a trip and wanted the travel sizes, it was a good value as well so I couldn't lose, the bag wasn't needed but I always find some use for them! I don't have the worst skin in the world but I do have blemishes and am very oily and I find this set really helps and the moisturizer doesn't make me shy away the way some do because I'm so oily. If you know you like this product grab it up otherwise maybe try a smaller kit first, good luck!

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly, gentle, visible results
Despite being through my teens, and now through my 20's; I still find myself waking up to a variety of different skin nightmares on a more than occasional basis. From breakouts below and on the surface of the skin, to random dry patches and peeling skin, my skin is so sensitive it's liable to react at the sheer thought of a breakout!
Over the years and throughout all the trials, and tests using different products (dermatologist prescriptive's included) Clinique's skincare products have always stood strong as the best, and most reliable for exceptionally fast and visible results for all my skincare needs. The three-step set is both gentle, and amazing in it's ability to meet any and all types of skin; and also for the use of each individual product if you don't have the time or patience of using all 3 daily.

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I has been searching for a skincare regiment for the warmer months because my skin tends to get super oily, and I started to breakout quite a bit over the last two months. Could have been the stress from planning my wedding but that's besides the point. I had been using Philosophy's Purity cleanser but that just wasn't cutting it. Switched to Bocia's detoxifying black cleanser but I hated it.
I had purchased the moisturizing gel a few weeks ago and fell in love immediately. It sunk into my skin like no other product I've tried before and almost finished like a primer, making my skin smooth and soft. I decided to buy this kit because I was going on vacation and thought it was a great value. What can be better than full sized bottles and travel sized bottles?! I was impressed by the size of the full-sized products, the clarifying lotion will last me forever, and I only need a pump of the cleanser and a teeny bit of the moisturizer.
The cleanser is amazing, and I noticed that when I wash my face in the shower with the cleanser, when I keep it on long enough it makes my skin feel cool and tingly. I haven't used a toner in YEARS so I was a little worried about what it would do for my skin. I couldn't believe what a great job the cleanser did taking off my makeup, there was barely anything on the cotton ball after I used the toner. The toner did make me a bit dry at night and I wake up with slightly dry cheeks, but I'm sure my skin just needs to get used to it.
I'll have to switch to the normal/dry line during the cooler months but I am now in love with Clinique! Great products for a great value!

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly, amazing, gentle
This is my first time ever purchasing a high-end skin cleanser and moisturizer and such and let me just say, I fell in love with it. The first time I even used the kit, my skin instantly felt softer and looked more radiant. The cleanser is very gentle on skin, and don't even get me started on the moisturizing gel! :) It felt so smooth and it glided on my skin nicely, not to mention how fast it was absorbed. This is hands down my go-to skin regimin now. I will be re-purchasing. :)

I am in love with Clinique because this totally helped out my acne better than any other product out there! Im serious and I dont feel so guilty buying it because it's a great deal and you get the little travel sizes. Since i have oily skin i was afraid the moisturizer would brake me out so i choose the gel moisturizer and i just cant get enough of that stuff. It doesnt leave me face greasy and it actually does help control the oil. I use this morning and night it is my holy beauty grail...i cant live without!<3

These kits are such a great deal compared to the price of the products separately. And it's great to have the travel sizes--the smaller sizes sold as part of Clinique's regular line are actually, imo, too large to really be convenient for travel. Minus 1 star because I wish you had the option to choose the toner for skin type 4.

I had one of these kits givin to me two years ago at christmas, so when I found this I was so happy the toner alone lasted a year!, grabbed this quick and the bag is so cute , but the pump for the toner not only saves time but put just the right amount of toner on my cotton ball. Love have minis to travel with
