So Disappointed! Smelled to awful to use!

Quick Take: scented, smells awful
I usually love TokyoMilk's unique scents, but this lip balm in Coco Noir smells absolutely awful. I ordered it online and when I opened my box I smelled something awful. I thought to myself "ohhh..please don't be the lip balm". Sure enough, it was. If you are going to try one, try another scent and avoid this one at all costs!

It is very moisturizing. But smells can be too strong. Either too sweet( salted caramel) or too spicy( clove cigarett). So far those two I tried. I would love to try other flavors.

I love the salted caramel! it smells and tastes delicious and is really silky, hydrating and long lasting without being sticky at all. it might be my favorite lip product ever and it's only $7!

When I saw that this balm came in "clove cigarette" I kinda just bought it without thinking because that's one of my favorite smells. I LOVE IT. It smells SO good and I think is very reasonably priced for the amount you get. Very hydrating and also stays on your lips for a long time. My new go to lip balm!

Quick Take: hydrating, scented, light
The Absinthe smells like sweet black licorice. The Clove smells like warm spicy clove. For the price they're definitely worth it, they're light yet waxy, the smell isn't too over powering, and they're not really shiny when applied. I love these and definitely plan on buying more.

Quick Take: sexy
I got the lip elixir in Absinthe, and I very much like it. It smells like jasmine tea with a hint of black licorice. It's smooth, hydrating and slightly sweet. It doesn't last long, but mostly because I can't stop licking my lips.

Quick Take: hydrating, scented
I ordered two of these, the Salted Caramel and the Clove Cigarette. Both of them smell amaaaaazing. The Salted Caramel does smell a bit synthetic, but it's nice all the same, a lot of the toasted vanilla bean comes through. My favorite of the two is the Clove Cigarette! It reminds me of those cinnamon brooms that the stores sell around Halloween-- the cinnamon is the most noticeable note. These lip elixirs are really moisturizing, but they aren't glossy, and they have a consistency similar to vaseline (you can definitely feel it on your lips). If that doesn't sound appealing to you then I'd give these a pass, but if you don't mind the consistency then these smell great and hydrate your lips really well!

Nice quality lip balm. If you're hesitating over the price -don't. Buy this for those dry, peeling, unprotected pouts. Works great, not glossy or slippery, can be used under lipstick. The salted caramel smells so delish that you could eat it with a spoon. The Absinthe is intriguing. Enjoy!

This is the best lip balm I've ever used, it feels great on my lips and they've never been softer than they are now after using this. I bought it in Cherry Bourbon and it smells delicious, but I can't wait to try a different flavor.

Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing, tasty
This lip balm is awesome; for me, at least, it's been really effective at moisturizing and protecting my lips, noticeable since I don't have to reapply it as often as my other go-to's. Even once it wears off after eating or something, my lips still feel soft. I got it in the salted caramel flavor, which serves as a nice little replacement for actually eating any sweets when I feel tempted! I can't wait to try some of the other flavors. I was hooked on Fresh's Sugar balm but this is much less expensive for a very comparable (maybe even more effective??) product, though obviously this has no tint, so there's that.

This is a super waxy lip balm, which I absolutely love. I purchased it in the rose sent and it smells heavenly. It is very moisturizing and will stay on all day, it works great on its own or over lip stick for added moisture. I really like that it does not have a glossy finish because you can wear it over matte lip stick and it will keep your lips moisturized and soft all day. And did I mention the scent is just fantastic?!

I was very happy with this product. I believe that most people would also enjoy this, with the understanding of what they are buying. That being said, this is a true lip balm, not a gloss. It is almost the consistency of Chapstick, although slightly lighter, and it has an invisible finish. Do not purchase this if you are looking for a glossy finish! However, if you're looking for a good moisturizing balm, which looks nude, this is for you. I use it primarily at night, and I wake in the morning with a small amount still on my lips, so it is definitely a good moisturizer that lasts. Even when wearing it during the day, it lasts better than most glosses or balms. Two of the scents that I own, coco noir and cherry bourbon, are rather complex. As an older woman, age 40, I am at a point in my life where I can appreciate these scents. In my late teens and 20's, I would have probably found them to be strange, because I enjoyed lighter, fruitier, or sweet scents. I also have salted caramel, which is a sweet scent, and the least complex of the ones that I purchased. I think most women of all ages would enjoy it . It smells and tastes sweet and like caramel; however, I am unable to detect any saltiness to it. I find the other two scents that I own, coco noir and cherry bourbon, to have a less youthful quality to them, as they are more complex and truly unique. A tip another reviewer shared which was very helpful was: when opening the tin, squeeze the edges of it with your thumb and index finger, and it opens easily, so there will be no need to try to pry off the lid.

Quick Take: hydrating
I purchased #42, La Vie en Rose, and it might be the best $7 I've spent on a lip balm. The smell isn't overpowering, though you can smell it slightly on the outside of the tin. The balm is thick and smooth and a little swipe goes a long way! I'm not interested in trying the other varieties, but I will definitely keep buying this one!
