Love the product(s), hate the packaging

I love the Algenist line. I've used the lotion, serum, and cleanser for a while but I wanted to try the eye renewal balm. I chose this set for the bonus gifts. The eye lotion, as much as I love it, is awful being in a little jar. It should be in a tube or a pump like the other products. I have long fingernails and it makes it hard to get the product out of the small jar without getting too much or too little. Then it also makes application more difficult where as a tube or pump would allow me to precisely put it on my ring finger and pat in to place.
So, this is a 5 star product, but I have to take one away because putting it in a jar is awful.

I have been a fan of the Algenist eye balm for some time. Getting the entire set for the same price as the balm was very much appreciated. Love the Algenist products!

Surprised that the eye cream actually made a difference. The lines and puffiness have decreased in just over a week! Will stick with this one. I need more time to tell if serum is working. Slight breakouts from it right now and I am hoping my skin will adjust to the product. Face was seemed to make it worse to I have stopped using it.

Quick Take: rejuvenating
Since reaching my upper 30's I've been looking for solutions to slow down the inevitable aging process. I've been taking antioxidants regularly for the past several years and so far they seem to have had some benefit as I don't have very many wrinkles at all at age 42. This product has great science behind it and I'm happy to add it to my daily arsenal to battle the breakdown of elastin that happens to everyone as they age. I've only been using this for a few days but already I notice some darkness reduced under my eyes and the product feels great and gives my face a healthy glow. I strongly believe that this external treatment combined with my internal treatments in the form of anti-oxidants will create a two pronged attack on the aging process and keep my skin elastic and supple for many more years to come.
I can only imagine the 1 star reviews here are from competitors because the product does not sting in the least and it actually feels great.

Love the eye balm!

I would give this 5 stars for the eye balm alone but since I bought it as a set, I have to rate it as a set. The cleanser is nice and I'm glad I tried it, but now I know I like the Ole Henriksen African Red Tea Foaming Cleanser better and I'm going back to that. The serum smells nice and it doesn't irritate my skin, but I find it difficult to work with. I like products that glide across my skin and feel good when I apply them, but this stays put right in the spot where I apply it and I feel like I have to tug at my skin to move it around. BUT...I really do absolutely love the eye balm. It moisturizes and smooths the skin around my eyes and lightens the dark circles very well. When I apply It in the morning, It feels so good and looks so good that I can't wait until I get to put it on again at night! I'm definitely going to be buying more of this...it's awesome!

I purchased this for eye cream but I can't say enough for the line. My boyfriend of 15 years told me that my skin is looking healthy - quite a statement! Products for women seriously caring for skin, not just to be "on trend".

Quick Take: brightening, moisturizing, renewing
I have tried dozens of under eye creams for circles. This is in my top two favorites. The face wash and serum are a great value and equally awesome products. The eye cream has a perfect balance of moisture and brightening. Look up the details of the company. One of the girls at Sephora explained the history of the line to me, an I was sold. Awesome product.

I was anxious to try these products because the sales clerk gave me a personal testimonial...naturally, she was a lot younger than I am. As a peppy 66, I am always interested in the latest and greatest in skin care. I have taken care of my skin for years, but you can't get to this age without some telltale signs. I never did see a result of the hyluronic acid(I know my spelling is off). the cream was absorbed quickly and I did not have any adverse reaction on my skin...I just did not see the results that I had expected. The serum was equally unexciting. I think I will be returning to my less expensive line

this product is decent, but i have yet to see any difference in the appearance of my eyes. fine lines and dark circles are still visible. it is a good moisturizer though, so if you are looking for a moisturizer i would recommend it. If you are looking to correct fine lines, def would not recommend it.

I have used the Algenist eye cream for over a year now and just love it. It has helped reduced the crows feed and the dark circles under my eyes. Just started using the face wash and really like that as well. I would highly recommend the eye cream for anyone looking to reduce the wrinkles around the eyes.

So yes, I work and play hard! Late nights, constant computer use take a toll! Couldn't get rid of the dark circles under my eyes. Vacations only last so long. this eye cream makes me look and feel like I'm still on vacation even though it was months ago. The dark circles are gone!
