Quick Take: fantastic
I love this product! I like for my curls to be natural without frizz or stiffness. This product is everything I was looking for. It provides a nice formation for the curl without stickiness, caking, or frizzing. My hair feels natural, it just looks better!

Quick Take: fantastic, the best, worth every cent
With a crazy head of curly/wavy hair, this product works better than any other I have ever tried (30+)
It smooths my hair eliminating frizz but also defines my curls and gives great volume. Only down side is I have a lot of volume already so sometimes I am rocking 80s hair, but I LOVE THIS STUFF

Quick Take: great for adding curls & waves.
I actually got a sample of this before I tried it to make sure that it was worth the money. I found it to work great at reviving my lifeless wavy hair into something more curly. I have a short bob style cut, not long hair, so it gave me the look of body, volume and curls, but I do not know what it would do with longer length hair. All I can say is that it worked for me and I would definately buy it again.

Maybe this works better on coarser hair, but it didn't do much for my fine curls. When I used enough product to deter frizz, it just weighed my hair down. Bumble and Bumble Curl Conscious Defining Creme works much better for me.

As others have noted, there is some kind of glitter in this stuff. I guess that is what makes your hair "shiny". It gets all over my hands and I've noticed it on my black coats (I usually leave the house with wet hair). Doesn't really bother me, but it's kind of weird. Other than that I'm on the fence about this product. It makes my curls look great and soft right after I wash my hair. But it builds up a little too much between shampoos. It would be ideal for me if I washed my hair every day, but I only condition every day and wash every two or three days.

Of all Ouidad's styling products, this seems to work the best. No frizzy hair, no crunchies and it doesn't take massive amounts of product to get the effect. I just seem to get better results from the creams over the gels. It's a personal preference.

I got a sample of this and I actually really like this stuff. I did however, put a light oil on my hair when it was soaking wet first, then I parted my hair and put the Curl Quencher all through my hair. Its noon now and my hair is still curly and in place. I'm a curly girl product junkie hoarder and I'lll buy this from Sephora to add to my collection. A bit of back ground...from Washington State, so its cold, rainy and foggy - so you can imagine what my hair goes through. I'm a 3b with some 3c in the back. I thought that this product would make me look like I have a curl from the 80's, but it remains to be soft and with lasting great hold. This is my first time using Ouidad and this product. I'm sold! Thanks Ouidad and Sephora!

I love this cream. Its thin and has a good slip to it. I am a woman of color with natural 3c hair. I pair this with the Ouidad's Moisture Lock leave-in conditioner when I style my hair. This is my one of my staples.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
The styling results were good, soft bouncy curls. I do think it was moisturizing as well. A little goes a long way so I often mixed it with other styling creams or mousse with great results. I prefer it to the DevaCurl creme that comes in the same type of pump bottle. I just wish it was cheaper or the bottle lasted longer.
About my hair 3a/3b which means some S shaped curls, some ringlets, fine to normal, and lots of it. Some damage, overall not too bad.

This cream is very light and gave ok curl definition. My problem with it was the white film/flakes it left on my hair after it dried. It was almost like I dusted a light gray powder all over my hair. Returned immediately.

I love this curl cream, so much. It gives my coarse, medium-tight curls excellent definition and frizz protection. I don't need to use a leave-in conditioner before this cream, because it's so moisturizing. I use Climate Control Gel if I need a sealer or a curl refresher, and I never get flakes, stickiness, crunchiness, or dryness. A little cream goes a very long way, and this cream makes my hair feel silky and springy. A previous reviewer mentioned "glitter" in this...they must mean a different product because there isn't a speck of glitter in this. I checked. I shmeared it on the back of my hand and I looked in sunlight and my bathroom lighting. Absolutely so glitter. It made the back of my hand feel soft, though, and it makes my hair very shiny! It's hard to stop touching my hair because I can't get over how soft this makes it feel!

I have naturally curly hair and even though I have never had good luck with lotions, I decided to try this because they are suppose to be 'curl experts'. Well, this stuff which was expensive, was as bad as the cheap stuff you can get at the corner store. My hair was soft after using it, but very frizzy. Won't ever buy again.

Quick Take: not worth the money
This product didn't give me frizz-free curls at all. I tried it in combination with the boost spray and by itself, and it felt like it just dried my hair out. It didn't leave it sticky or crispy though, my hair felt soft. What I really hated was this cream has something in it that makes it almost sparkle. By the end of the day it looked like I had glitter all over my forehead.

Pefect for kinky hair

I'm Canadian and my husband Haitian so our girl has kinky hair. We have try many products but all the baby ones were to light and uneffective. The only product that has work on her hair so far is "Curl definign cream" for Morrocanoil (around 40$). "Curl quencher" does the same, as also a pleasant and light smell for 10$ less. It gives her hair extra hydratation, makes them easy to comb and defines her curls! We love it!

NATURAL LOOKING CURLS WITH NICE VOLUME

I like how this product works in my 3b/3c curls. I like my curls defined but not stiff and this did the job. It created a lot of sexy volume and I loved the way my hair looked! However, for the price, which is steep, this product won't last a long time. I do my hair in sections and that means that this product will just run out quickly. The results that this product gave can be achieved by experimenting with other products, like the ethnic hair products in a drugstore, so I recommend trying it and if you like it, but not the price, do your research for something better.

I was expecting this product to be super hydrating and was hoping that it would leave my curls soft and manageable. That was not the case at all! First of all, for a product with Quencher and Intense in the title, this product was only intensely drying. Also, BE WARNED this product has shimmer in it which ends up everywhere. No matter how many times I washed my hands I never could get all of the shimmer to go away.

Tried this after trying the other curl cream by Ouidad and this one did not leave my tight curls (3C) crunchy or hard. It smelled good and was light going on and in my hair. It also pulled the curl down a bit which was nice and the curls were defined when dry...
