Not moisturizing enough for me

I think this set is a good value, but the moisturizing gel didn't provide enough moisture for me. I have combination skin, but I guess in this winter weather it has been dryer than usual. I like that my face isn't shiny after applying the moisturizer, but it still felt really tight and uncomfortable, so I have to apply another moisturizer on top. I will keep it and use it in the summer time, maybe it will work better then. The eye serum is ok, however, when i applied it before my makeup, it flaked off and didn't look good, so i'm only applying it at nighttime. The gloss is very sheer. It is not sticky, but has no color payoff either.

Love Extra Surge Moisturizer

I have used the Extra Surge Moisturizer for many years and since it was in a set I decided to try the other products. The roller ball on the eye depuffing serum is very refreshing. A great buy if you add everthing seperately.

I got this moisturizer a few years back and i loved it! I recently got it because i need a new moisturizer! saw this kit! and I just have to get it!
the eye depuff massage is okay... not super impressive! but the moisturizer is great especially for normal/combination skin like me!
didn't try the gloss...
its a great value kit! it doesn't break me out at all!

Great moisturizer!!!

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I was looking for a moisturizer because my skin was feeling really dry with this winter weather. I found this one by Clinique and decided to get the set for a little more money. (Only a couple of bucks) I absolutely love it. Plus it come sin a little travel case that is perfect for the road and fits everything you would need in it.

Quick Take: good value
I really bought this for the Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief. It makes my skin feel like velvet and it absorbs really nicely. I use it as a night cream because it doesn't have SPF, but when I wake up my skin doesn't look tired. The superbalm is really nice as a lip gloss and a nice little add in for the price, as is the eye serum. However, I can't see any result with the eye serum, but maybe I'm not putting enough on or massaging long enough. Hence the four stars. As mentioned, I bought this set for the moisturizer and am pleased with that and appreciate the little sample sizes of the other two products.

Quick Take: very hydrating
For the price, you might as well buy this extra kit. The eye gel is ok, but wouldn't buy it again because it seems too light and I like a richer cream feel. The lipgloss color is a sheer peach-pink and is alright if you like a real gooey shiny look. I did like the Moisture surge. It does give the impression of adding some moisture to your skin. I've been using it after I wash my face at night, then letting it set for about 5 min. then following up with my night cream. My skin has been looking pretty good, just noticiing today...but I always wear a hat and NO Smoking ever (I'm 61 and it has paid off.) I think you'll like this product.

Have been a fan of moisture surge for over 10 years. Always apply moisture surge after my shower and love the soft dewy feel of my skin!! Also love that it plumps up the wrinkles and you don't notice them as much.

I was needing to buy another jar of the moisture surge...this is my 4th jar of it...and since this set was only $4 more than the jar by itself I went for it.
First of all, moisture surge gel is the best thing ever! I have combination skin and struggled for a long time to find something that would get rid of the flakes but not make me too shiny. This really locks in moisture and is like an aloe gel rather than a lotion or cream. Ive also tried the new moisture surge cream but love the gel much more.
I did not like the rollerball eye serum. The rollerball is a good idea, it was the actual serum that I didnt like. It tingled, which I believe its suppose to, but that was an uncomfortable feeling to me being so close to my eye. Its water thin so I cant imagine it doing much.
The lip gloss I havent used yet although Ive had that lipgloss before. I remember that I really liked it but it ended up smelling funny after a month or so. This little tube will probably be gone before it goes bad.
