I have areas on my face that get quiet dry and other areas that feel oily by the end of the day. I use this cream in the morning and by the end of the day my face still feels great (not dry and not oily - just right). There is also a very slight shimmer to the cream (it took me a week to notice).

Did NOTHING for my skin

I did not have a glow as a matter of fact after putting on this moisturizer it just created these little round balls of moisturizer, never had that before.. I have become so disappointed in Philosophy, I'll stick with Purity and hope they don't change that cleanser..

I have temperamental skin that while oily is also sensitive.
I was using a soothing daily moisturizer but when I tried this out instead, I realized that my makeup was lasting longer and I wasnt sliding off my face as easily! I would recc. this if you're oily-combination, not dry. At night I use something with more oomph, but I think this is perfect for day under makeup.

I have battled crazy dry skin my whole life, yet sometimes need a break from the heavyweight moisturizers I use at night. Usually lightweight oxygen/gel blends make my face flakey and do not provide enough moisture, but this is not the case!! This product is perfect for those hot summer months when putting on moisturizer feels like a punishment!! Love love love this facial cream, especially with the price tag. This is definitely now part of my beauty routine and I couldn't be happier!

Not enough moisture for me

I have combination-oily skin and was hoping that this would balance it out. Oddly, even with all the great reviews saying otherwise, it didn't offer enough moisture for my skin and I ended up with my same oily skin but now with it being very flake-y. I use my Clarisonic every morning and night and exfoliate with a mask twice a week, so it's definitely not an exfoliation problem. Oh well, not every product is going to work the same on everyone. Just wanted to leave my review that it didn't work as well for me on my combo-oily skin as it seems to for others.

Great moisturizer (especially for oily skin)

I redeemed the 100-point reward because I have been wanting to try this moisturizer as I have been hearing great reviews. After using this moisturizer for one day, I noticed an improvement in the look of my skin, I couldn’t believe it! I have been using it every morning for the past month and I have noticed an improvement in the clarity and brightening of my skin.
Additionally, I have noticed that it seems to have helped even my skintone. I have not gotten any breakouts as a result of using this moisturizer. It did not make my skin any more oily than usual, but it did not help on cutting down the oil.
For my moisturizing routine, I do use this in the AM as it says it is designed to protect against the environmental factors. I have continued to use my Clinique gel moisturizer at night. Overall, extremely happy with the product, and I have already purchased the full-size!
I will knock off a star for 2 items (1) I would like to see how long the full-size will last with respect to how much it costs; and (2) I do not like how the moisturizer comes in a jar and not in a tube.

I just got the sample size a few days ago and when I tried it out I loved it so much. It absorbed into my skin quickly and made my skin feel really good. It's light and I can see myself using it as a night and day time moisturizer, though it would mainly use it at night.

For a few months during the late spring and summer, I use Take a Deep Breath day and night in place of all of the stronger Philosophy anti-aging serums and moisturizers that I normally use throughout the year. I use the regular jar at night and the SPF30 verson of Take a Deep Breath during the day. It's all that's needed after cleansing with Purity and using Eye Hope. I love philosophy skin care. I adhere to a vegan diet, work out, sleep well, and use Philosophy. At 51, most think I am under 40. I have used every skin care brand out there, and this is the one for my skin.

I love this moisturizer ... it feels so light and airy when I apply and never leaves a residue behind. I tend to mix it with a BB cream so it goes on lighter, and this is the perfect agent to do that with. I have used this for months and every time I run out and think I can go a few weeks without it ... I am wrong. Great for those of us with oily skin and in hot weather.
