Just got my Lavanila Summer from the Lavanila website. Anyways, I'm not getting any of the notes that everyone else is smelling with this perfume. The moment I sprayed it, it smelled like plastic in a weird sort of way. Even though I just got it, I'll give it a few more tries before I decide to give it to someone.
Point being, if you want a perfume you've never smelled before, go to a store that sells it and try it out first, otherwise, you might regret your purchase.

This is really sweet, just like summer!
When I first sprayed it, I smelled a lot of coconut, but after a while, there are so much more to it. The lasting power is pretty good on me, and the scent isn't too strong either.

I love LaVanila. I have been using the vanilla grapfruit for years.... I thought I'd try the vanilla summer. I love it. Not overpowering, but enough to make you feel like you're at the beach if you close your eyes.

This version is stronger than the pure Lavanila scent. It has a burnt sugar smell which is nice. I prefer the regular version, but do use this from time to time. I am not sure why it's 'Summer'.. You could wear this any time and it sort of has a holiday scent to it.

Fragrance is awesome! It smells like a more sophisticated tanning lotion. I love fragrances that smell like something you can eat, and this is def one of my FAVS! I'm sad I can't find the big bottle anymore. :(

I bought the roller ball just to try it because I read that it didnt affect a particular blogger's allergies like most perfumes tend to. The scent is nice but doesn't last very long.

Quick Take: long lasting, beautiful
I actually bought the full bottle and do not regret it. This scent last so long and it is so beautiful. It lingers around all day and just makes me smile. It literally puts you in a good mood as most of you might have that effect with a favourite perfume.
Please don't stop making this scent. This is my signature summer scent.

Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I'm so happy I swooped up the rollerball and large bottle of this scent. I LOVE it! I normally wear Bobbi Brown Beach, which is the ulimate beachy-smelling scent. But sometimes I feel like changing it up, but still wanting to have that beach feeling. This is perfect... When I smell it (on me) I smell very soft vanilla musk, mango, pineapple, coconut oil and salt water. I get many compliments when I wear this fragrance. I wish it wasn't Limited Edition... and I wish they made a lotion to layer.

Right away I was taken back to a summer day on the beach in the Bahamas. Tropical fruit and coconut are the notes that reach the nose first. The scent lasts the day and is super for everyday wear.

I really like this Lavinila scent. It's light and summery. Totally non offensive to those around you. My only complaint is that it doesn't last long and it reminds me a bit of tanning oil at times.

I love this slightly sweet summery scent! I wish it came in a body butter. It goes on sweet, but fades/balances to a nice summery scent. My only other wish is that a little more of the salty beach added to it.
