Disappointing wear

Quick Take: not as good as other shadows i use. :(
Great concept: three palettes that interchange by snapping into the cute little purse, but the shadows don't wear well for me. I use the same shadow primer as with other shadows that last all day & into the night, but these shadows fade and crease & definitely require a touch up by the end of the workday if you still want to look presentable in the evening. The lipgloss is nice, and has a mint thing going on, but even with the deeply discounted sale price on this set, I would not have bought knowing what I know now. Too bad - the colors are great, just very disappointing wear.

This set was an amazing value, and the products are fantastic. The shadows are creamy and pigmented (some fall out in the more glittery colors, but nothing major) and the blush, highlighter and bronzer are all fantastic. Will definitely buy more Tarte sets, they are good value for money.

I love this! It was a great value for the price and a nice product. The colors go on kind of light but I imagine they would be easy to build, I just haven't had the opportunity to try it yet. The blush is the opposite though, just a little goes a long way!

I love all the possible combinations you can achieve with this set. I have medium skin tone and I love all the colors. It is nice and compact but wish it came with a little mirror so it could truly be an all-in-one travel friendly case!

I really like the colors and variety in this set, and the instructions are helpful for ideas I wouldn't necessarily think of to do on my own. The lipgloss is pretty, nothing special but at this sale price it's basically a freebie. The chintzy clutch is an odd addition; I gave it to my little niece and she loves it. Overall a great value.

Quick Take: dreamy!
I luv this collection of amazonian clay eyeshadows, blush, bronzer, highlighter, clutch AND maracuja lipgloss! The value is unbeatable and totally worth it. The eyeshadows are so versatile and you can jazz it up for a night on the town or just look really nice at an everyday type of day event... I was surprised at how neutral yet really flattering some of the shades were. The blush is actually like a bright or hot pink with shimmer and you would be surprised how flattering that shade can be on really anyone. The bronzer is very nice to, not unnatural looking, and not too dark or orange at all since I have fair skin. The lipgloss is the most complimentary lipgloss I have ever used and makes your lips feel incredible, soft and full and wonderful! I highly recommend the amazonian clay finishing/mattyifying powder too from the tarte line of products (it works wonders for setting my makeup, just a little goes a long way, as well as I have combination skin and it solves that problem too). Thank you tarte for awesome makeup, quality, and value! :)

This is such a steal for this price!! If you have hazel green eyes, run don't walk to buy this pallet. The colors are super versatile, creamy and very blendable. The blush and bronzed is awesome for fair to light complexions, which is a total miracle all in its own. Tarte I heart you!!!

Quick Take: good value
I'm in love with the selection of colors of the shadows and the cheek colors. I feel they have a nice range of colors to complement all eye colors and skin tones (I have light skin and blue eyes). It will be a nice set to use year-round, as I like to chanage up my shadows with the change of the seasons. The gloss is a nice neutral-pink, also. It will be a sad day for me when I run out of this.

I bought this set because it was on sale and I hadn't ever really tried any Tarte products. Eh. The variety of colors is great, the pigmentation and texture of some of the shadows is a little disappointing, but the highlighter in the girls night out palette is wonderful (it's my current favorite). The set didn't amaze me but made me curious to try more of their products. All in all decent set for the price.

Versatile & Convenient Palettes

Quick Take: good value, travel size
I needed a single palette I could take on work trips (I travel weekly) and saw this on sale ($32). I needed work-appropriate, neutral tones, so this seemed like a great choice. The extra colors (jewel tones, etc) were just icing on the cake. I received the box, which looked pretty awesome. Inside, I was less than impressed with the clutch. It's a neat idea, but the chain is so thin, cheap, and freaking LONG! I'm 5'3" and the clutch was down by my knees. Not flattering what so ever. I won't be using the clutch (or maybe remove the chain for a night out). Regarding the colors, this is my first time using Tarte eyeshadows, and I was pretty impressed with the color saturation and longevity. The colors will easily last all day (8+ hrs), but it's very flaky in the wells. I'll dab my brush, and a ton of shadow comes off. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or bad. I would give this 4 stars because the clutch is so fail, but the colors are so plentiful and useful that I'll knock it up to 5 stars.

I received this as a christmas gift from my brothers gf (this won her major points!) I love it! I use the palettes on a daily basis. I love the variety from neutral to colorful. I love dramatic smokey eyes and bright makeup. This definitely is a staple in my collection. Also the purse is great by itself. It holds your credit cards and even one item that is long and skinny ex eyeliner, lip pencil, etc. I love this set and the quality is amazing! the shadows are very long lasting and each palette has a cheek product, one blush, bronzer, and highlighter!

I bought this pallet as a x-mas gift to myself. I heard so many good things about the pallet, I just had to get it myself! When I recieved it, it was just as expected; Chic, Elegant, Portable!
Then I looked at the ingredients... These shadows contain Talc! I'm algergic to talc. :(
I thought this was suppose to be an all natural brand! I was so dissapointed. On the other hand the gloss that came with it is wonderful! I'd buy the gloss again, but never a pallet. Shame on you, Tarte.

pretty colors. like the addition of blushes... won't be carrying them around in bag, it is cute though. when i put on shadow in a.m. i expect it to be there all day, these are longwear, so i have no need to haul it away from home.

Quick Take: great value overall, creamy eyeshadows, disappointing gloss
I fell in love with Tarte's lipsurgence line and I have lots of them. I also have their amazonian clay blush in the color Dollface and it is my favorite, go to blush. However, until I got this set I had not tried any of their eyeshadows. They seem pretty creamy, pretty good quality, and it is a decent color selection too. I also appreciate the fact that it included some of their Park Avenue Princess bronzer which I had been wanting to try. No, I probably won't use the bag in any way (unless I go on a trip and want to take one set of the shadows with me). I also did not care for the gloss at all. But for the price, it was a great deal. This may be sold out now, but if it comes back in stock or Tarte puts out a similar set, you should definitely give it consideration.

I am new to Tarte, Loving some of the products. This was a great bargain, and good way to try the shadows. The problem I am having with shadows in general these days is all the "Sparkle" I am 55 and think it just adds to the creapyness of my aging eyes. The matt shadows are wonderful and to be honest, the others have more shimmer than out and out sparkle. I am not unhapy with the purchase. As I said it is a great bargain, and will give the shimmery ones to my daughter.

Quick Take: a good value!
Good color pay-off, nice selection of shades, some natural, some more daring. I really like the bronzer, much to my suprise. I usually don't wear one but this adds a nice amount of color without being obvious. The shadows have a decent staying power, better over a primer of course. I do find the packaging a bit over the top as I dont carry them around wih me...but I love the concept! Well woth the money!
