Quick Take: good value, travel size
I am a first time Benefit user. I wanted to see what all the hype was a bout with all four of these products. So I went ahead and decided to treat myself. Benetint is just as amazing and natural as I have heard. Porefessional is wonderful and high beam (my favorite) was great. Just beware with this one a little goes a long way. At first i was like Whats with these tiny bottles?! But when i went to dot my cupids bow with what i thought was a little dot a came out with enough to cover my lips and chin with a frost. haha. My only thing is Bad gal. While it is a good mascara I don't think I would buy it on it's own. Not a big mascara person. I wear it everyday but I just don't spend a lot on it :) Also this is a good kit for any young gals in your life. It's a good way to introduce them to natural make up and not all the crazy colors and such they might not be old enough to use yet.

I was satisfied overall with this kit. The mascara is wonderful and I love the benetint and high beam. I was not overly impressed with the porefessional product. The bag is a good size for quick travel.

Quick Take: good value, travel size, good sampler
I actually bought this for the train case, because I was in dire need of one (even though I realize now it's a bit on the small side), and I thought it was gorgeous. I hadn't tried any of the products that came with it before, though I have other items from Benefit.
Anyway! The case is lovely, good quality. A mirror on the lid would be even better. A heads-up--there's a cream panel on the back as opposed to the pattern all-around. There's a design that says "Rare Beauty" against a light purple. Thankfully it doesn't look as ugly as I saw in a picture of it online.
Anyway! There are small samples of High Beam and Benetint, but a little goes a long way with both of those.
I was pleased with High Beam, but it's kind of tacky in nature and blending it in before it dries takes some skill. Do it right and it gives you that subtle something. You could probably play it up for a really crazy glam sheen.
The Benetint smells amazing (like most Benefit's products), but on my medium-golden skin did not show up well, nor my lips. Could see it better on the finger I blended it with than my cheeks.
I'm not much for mascara, but the full-sized Bad Gal was surprisingly awesome. Since I don't use mascara usually, maybe I haven't perfected application--all the lashes were lengthened and perfectly separate, but look kind of thin when I'm right up by the mirror. Probably need to work on that skill.
The Porefessional was the most pleasant surprise at all. I don't use primer, and generally my pores are relatively small. However. This really leaves your skin in silky-smooth condition, which takes make-up really well and pretty evenly. A little goes a long way, too.
All in all? AWESOME.

I am absolutely in love with this kit! The case is gorgeous and the products are amazing! Porefessional leaves my skin so flawless! Love the bad gal lash and the high beam and benetint as well. I was only a bit shocked by the sizes, they look SO BIG on the picture, i thought the case was 3x bigger than it actually is, but okay...i still love it! :D

A great kit for any fairytale or makeup lover!

Quick Take: good value, travel size, pretty
I'm a fan of Benefit's products, and had been wanting to try out Benetint and The Porefessional for a while now. I already knew that I loved BadGal and Highbeam. This kit would give me a chance to try out the new and stock up on old favorites, so I jumped at the chance. I'll admit to also being attracted to the fairytale theme of the kit and the adorable bag.
BAG: The bag is well made and, while smaller than I had initially expected, it is a good size to house toiletries for a weekend trip or sleepover. It also could not be cuter. The forest brocade print in silver and lavender is beautiful, and on the back, it says "Rare Beauty", which is just a nice little addition.
BADGAL Lash: I love Love LOVE this mascara. It is one of the only mascaras that has not flaked off on me after a few hours and irritated my sensitive eyes. This one lasts and looks fantastic all the livelong day! Two coats in the morning gives me long, curled, voluminous matte dark black lashes. What makes this mascara different from other volumizing mascaras is how well it tapers your lashes. Some mascaras give your lashes a spidery, unnatural, cylindrical look, but not BadGal. This gives the impression of really fantastic naturally dramatic lashes, like you were born with them. This is also a comfortable mascara, it doesn't make my lashes feel brittle, and I do not notice any loss of lashes when I wash my face at night. Finally, this mascara smudges far less under my eyes than other mascaras have. The one downside is, that like all Benefit products, it has parabens, which I really wish it didn't.
The POREFESSIONAL: I have been looking for a mattifying, pore minimizing primer for some time now, but I wasn't willing to pay full price to try one out. This kit gave me the opportunity to try it out, and I'm so glad that I did! This primer blurs pores and gives a soft, airbrushed finish to skin. It feels so silky and lightweight that I forget that I have it on, until I touch my face and discover it to be delightfully smooth. I have oily, acne prone skin, and so far, I have not had any additional clogged pores or breakouts, hallelujah! The tube isn't huge, but a little bit of product goes a long way (keep this in mind, because if you apply too much, it flakes off) so it should last me a while. The primer kept my skin matte and my foundation in place, so it's a win! So happy to have this in my makeup collection!
BENETINT: I don't really like the look of powder blushes (although Bella Bamba might have me convinced otherwise), and I didn't even really wear blush until about two years ago because I was worried about how unnatural and cakey they look. If only everyone wore this! It blends perfectly, looks natural, and smells like fresh roses! You can't even feel it on your skin! It imparts a sheer rosy glow onto cheeks. On lips, it gives a just bitten look while sinking in quickly and is not drying. This definitely gave my fair skin a Snow White worthy blush, and I will be purchasing the full size when I run out of the (reasonably large) sample.
HIGHBEAM: This little bottle of wonder gives a gorgeous dewy glow to skin. I put a little bit under my eyes, on my cheekbones, on the bridge of my nose, and on my cupid's bow. A tiny bit goes a long way! One of these deluxe samples will last you for weeks used daily! I love how sheer and natural this highlighter looks. It isn't shimmery or glittery, it just gives a luminosity perfect for the fairest in the land!
All in all, this is a fantastic kit for a makeup lover of any age. It would make a great gift for a young teen who is just getting started with makeup, but it would also be wonderful for someone of a more advanced age who is looking for quality products. I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone!

I've never been happier with any splurge from Sephora! It's great value and the products work perfectly! BadGal is now my everyday mascara, and Benetint is a great pop of color for everyday as well. The Porefessional is THE primer I've been searching for! It goes on easy and stays on all day without feeling heavy or noticeable. I don't use high beam as much, as I don't use highlighter, but the bag itself for the set is beautiful and useful! I was at first skeptical about spending a lot on one set, but it's the best purchase I've made!

I am so pleased with this purchase. It was such a good value and I fell in love with all the products! Also, the train case is sooo adorable!!! I had never owned any Benefit products before i bought this and its a great way to introduce yourself to the brand. Also, the samples of High Beam and Benetint are actually decent sizes and have lasted a long time already. Love!!!!!!!

First Time Benefit Buyer

Quick Take: good value, travel size, natural, high quality
I still consider myself a beginner when it comes to makeup, and when I found this set, I figured it would be the best way to try out some new products and to try Benefit's cosmetics. Every item has been great! Here is a product-by-product review:
POREfessional: I'm only 21, and big pores are not much a problem for me except near my nose where I tend to be more oily, especially when I wear my glasses. This product definitely minimized the look of my pores around the nose and provided a great, light primer for my face. Extremely easy application and feels great on the skin. I also have sensitive skin and had no reactions to this product whatsoever. 5/5
BADgal Lash Mascara: This mascara creates a really great natural, full lash. Looks great with lashes curled and even though I am fair, I don't find the black tint too dark - still looks natural. I have to say it's not my favourite mascara ever, but it's my second choice, especially for summer when a natural look is great for time in the sun. 5/5
High Beam: This is my first experience with a highlighter, so I have to say I don't have much to compare it to. But, I absolutely love the look of High Beam. It looks really natural when blended into the skin. I use it on my cheekbones and the corner of my eyes. I personally feel that it opens my eye right up and helps me look much more awake on the days where I am dragging tail. Definitely a new can't-live-without product. 5/5
Benetint: Also my first experience with a lip/cheek stain. I haven't had much a chance to use it yet as I am still overcoming a prior allergic reaction which caused my skin to break out. Adding a red tint is not ideal when I am trying to cover up the irritated red skin! That said, I did try it and know I will love the look once my acne clears up on my cheeks. I'm very fair, so a stained red lip is a little much for me yet, and so I have not used it as a lip stain for any look. It does look very natural and just adds a tint of colour though, so the product definitely does what it says it should. 5/5
Case: This case, I have to say, was the icing on the cake when it came to deciding which kit would be the better deal to try new products. It looks even better in person and has to be one of the best constructed cases I've come across. I'm not a Kristen Stewart/Snow White & the Huntsman fan AT ALL, so if anything I was worried in person it would look obvious that it was themed kit, but it doesn't at all. Also, talk about roomy! This case fits A LOT, and I mean A LOT of stuff compared to some others included in other kits. 5/5
The kit also comes with a how-to guide with tips and tricks, which is really great for beginners like me!
Overall I'm absolutely thrilled with this purchase. All my expectations were met, if not exceeded. Will definitely be buying from Benefit again and am considering full size purchases of Benetint and High Beam.

first of all, the bag is absolutely gorgeous and very well-made. i always use lip tint, and benetint amazes me because it is non-drying for my lips. the lip gloss is non-sticky and feels smooth all the time. i also didn't realize how great high beam would make my skin look.... it looks radiant. this is a great set to purchase for a first time experience of benefit products.

Amazing products in an exquisite case!

I originally purchased this for the beautiful bag and deluxe samples of High Beam and Benetint. However, I now love all the products inside the case. This is a steal!
Benetint: It's the perfect size to keep in your makeup bag for your purse and my current obsession(along with High Beam). The tint looks very natural. You have to be quick in blending though when it comes to using it as a cheek stain otherwise you'll see the the original marks.
High Beam: Another amazing product. Highlight your cheeks, brow bone, cupid's bow, and you'll have an ethereal glow about you. It's not a deluxe sample like the benetint is;however, it will last you a while and is perfect to keep in your travel makeup bag.
Bad Girl Lash: I thought I wouldn't be too crazy about this since I've already found my perfect mascara, the glossy one by Clinique which was a very natural looking one. Bad Girl lash is also very natural looking when only a few coats are applies. I also love how it's a gel. This is now my current favourite mascara.
Porefessional: I don't have huge pores and it didn't hide my imperfections. I'm sure if I did have noticeable pores, that it would hide them. It's still a great primer though and it doesn't clog your pores. It's silicon based and your skin feels so smooth after applying it. It makes a great primer. Makeup tends to look cakey and my skin dry on my T-zone, but after applying it, it's smooth and perfect.
