Not impressed!

It seems to help a little, but as soon as I put makeup and concealer on it loses its apparent effectiveness. It is going back to the store : (

Worth the price, which is cheap to most out there!
-04.10.13
I reviewed tons of wrinkle cream for my forehead lines. Most being over $100 that had 4 ot of 5 stars. I figured Id try sephora and this line because it was cheaper and it had good reviews as well. After a week of using it I see a difference already and my lines were deep. It also leaves a nice matte finish which is how a face should look when clean! And no sensitivity issues and I am very sensitive to products! Overall..cheap in price and works well.

Good but cheaper options work as well

Quick Take: smoothing
This is a good product and did fill in the deep lines on my forehead for smoother makeup application. The effect of this product is temporary for the most part but it does contain some skin-healthy ingredients that are good for you over time. However, this is real expensive for what's essentially a silicone filler/primer. Benefit's POREfessional does a great job smoothing wrinkles and pores and keeps shine at bay for a good part of the day for fifteen bucks less, as do some other primers/mattifiers. It is a good product but not a miracle that justifies the hefty price.

A primer more than wrinkle reducer
-03.30.13
I bought this because I have had good result with the Algenist serum; that has reduced the appearance of fine lines by my eyes. This did not appear to reduce wrinkles on my forehead or laugh lines. It gives your skin a matte look and I think the product is more akin to primers that "fill" wrinkles for the application of make-up. I don't like the matte finish.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I don't have deep-set wrinkles yet, but I avoid foundation because it settles in my smile/frown lines and makes them look way worse! This product perfectly fills them in. It's a temporary fix, but a good one.

Quick Take: not impressive
I have used other algenist products but thought I would give this a try. It does feel good going on but did nothing for my lines. Would not buy this again. I prefer the Algenist moisturizer

WoW
-03.08.13
Quick Take: smoothing
I received a sample of this & from the moment I used it I fell in love ... I have a stubborn "line" on my forehead and needed something in the form of a primer to fill in the wrinkle before applying powder makeup .. this worked great & then some ... it not only filled in the line but also made it look better over time.

Nothing better!
-03.08.13
I loved this from the second I tried it (I received a few samples). I ordered it online and it takes two weeks for orders from the US to ship to Canada and I was going crazy for it to arrive! After using it none of the other primers I own compare. Once allowing it to dry for 90 seconds it is one of the rare products that lives up to its promise - it actually turns your face into a 'flawless canvass' for which your foundation and concealer sit perfectly upon without any of the usual issues of caking or settling into your fine lines. As the previous poster remarked this is totally a 'HG' product.
I have used Hour Glass, Guerlain, Smashbox, Cover FX, Stila...just to name a few, and Algenist is far superior.
I would highly recommend to anyone who has fine lines and imperfections. I used to use a separate undereye primer (actually two products targeted for the area) but I find that this product is great for my entire face.

Run-don't walk-and get this product!!
I have uber sensitive skin, fine lines, and large pores. I put a sample of this on and was SHOCKED- I looked at least 5 years younger! It blurs out lines, pores, etc., doesn't cause breakouts, and is an excellent primer for a flawless look!! This is my Holy Grail for ever amen.

Miracle in a Bottle!
-02.20.13
Quick Take: skin tightening
I received this as a sample and I was astounded by the instant results. I'm 40 and I have fine lines around my cheeks where I smile and my skin is less firm there. After one application it immediately tightened up my face and my make up went on beautifully. I was kind of surprised by the mixed reviews because I found it to be so effective.
Like others have said, let it dry fully before applying foundation. That might be the key :) I saw results instantly before I even applied foundation. I have been using this with primer, but I think it could be used alone.

I Love It
-02.02.13
I received this as a sample from Sephora and was amazed at how well it works. I'm 33 and have fine lines under my eyes and this made them almost disappear. This product is a filler/primer and is meant to go on after your moisturizer, and before your makeup. It's important that you allow a couple minutes for it to dry. Once it was dry, before putting on any makeup, my fine lines were nearly invisible. The only makeup I applied after was a mineral face powder, and the lines stayed hidden all night. There was no residue or flaking. Once my sample is gone, I will be buying the full size. It wasn't a product I was looking for, but now that I've tried it, I don't want to be without it.

fabulous

I finally found something other than those wax type, products to held with deep and fine lines. The fine lines around my eyes show a huge difference. The deeper line between my eyes and around mouth are not as diminished as I would like, but I wear my emotions on my face. I love how easy it is to use and how you feel it instantly tighten your skin. Age 44

drying/flaking
-01.26.13
I usually love the Algenist line, but this product (received as a sample) is subpar. I could maybe see how it work as a primer, as it creates a kind of thicker coating to the area under my eyes. I noticed when I applied makeup to the same area under my eyes, it didn't seem very smooth and became kind of splotchy. I also saw that the skin was being pulled more during makeup application process, meaning I think this product stiffens the fragile skin. I would not recommend this product.

This Wrinkle Minimizer Really Works Well For Me!
-01.12.13
This is my second purchase of the Algenist Targeted Deep Wrinkle Minimizer. I love this product -- you don't have to use very much, and the lines are truly minimized. I find that this product lasts for many months, and I am extremely satisfied with the results.

I'm impressed
-12.30.12
Quick Take: great
Okay, I'm a gal of 48 and I've used my fair share of products out there. I have 5 different cleansers in my shower, 6 different serums and 5 eye creams that I rotate on a daily basis so you can say that I've seen a bit of what's out there.
Unfortunately I can't attest to the wrinkle minimizer however as a primer I think it's first rate. I have the good or rather bad luck, depends on how you see it, of having oily skin. This product keeps my face pretty much shine free and my makeup looks great all day. That says a lot in my book. I hope my two cents helps.. :)

Waste of money
-12.29.12
This was a total waste of money, it did NOTHING, I have tried other products from this line, that I would give it more of a 3 with other products out there. I have no problem spending money of skin care products, but would like to see some difference, even 1/2 of what they state, this gave me nothing, this line isn't one of my fav.

not impressed
-12.23.12
I have been using the Algenist serum and was generally pleased with the results, so decided to try this product. However, I am not at all pleased with the results which are less than minimal. The scent is pleasant and I like the consistency of the cream, which absorbs nicely, but the effect is zero. Zero! This product does absolutely nothing. I tried it for several weeks and will probably use up all that remains of it, but I count it a loss of money. Wish I had returned it earlier, but thought I should give it a fair try first. Well, now I know.....

Lives up to the hype....
-12.08.12
I think these people are on to something....if you follow the directions and put it on AFTER serum, moisturizer, primer and what have you, but BEFORE foundation, and let it dry for a few minutes, it really makes a difference. I've tried a lot of products in my time, and am skeptical of many, but I have really noticed that the marionette lines around my mouth are noticeably better. Give it a try!
