waste of money
-03.22.13
This is so hard to operate I didn't even get a chance to use it. It's very stiff and sticks so you can't get a good clamp.

Did not heat up enough to do anything. I returned it for a regular eyelash curler.

doe not work
-03.05.13
Quick Take: useless
I've heard about heated eye lash curlers before, that they are supposed to make you lashes stay curled so much better, etc.
So when I saw this one at Sephora I went and grabbed it. I was so disappointed when I used it. I could feel that it was warm, but it didn't even curled my lashes! It was the same as if I hadn't done anything to them. This one does not work :(

Works Great
-02.06.13
After using another heated curler for years, I decided to upgrade to this model. I love this curler. Works quickly and comfortably, I'd definately recommend.

This does not heat well
-01.15.13
If I could give no stars- I would. This does not heat well. I have short, downwards slanting, Asian eye lashes and this did not work at all for me. I have better luck adding heat to my regular lash curler with a blow dryer. I wish I would have read the reviews before I bought it.

Forget it
-01.14.13
Quick Take: worthless, awkward, ineffective
I don't know why, after reading all the other poor reviews, that I bought this thing. What was I thinking? It does not work! It is clumsy to use and doesn't put out "heat" by any means. I only gave it 1 star for it being purple. Sephora- discontinue this piece of junk!

First time buyer of heating product
-01.13.13
Was excited ad couldn't wait to try at home even took batteries out of my husbands remote to try it out. was not completely satisfied at all... it took a while to heat up and the slide up and hold was kind of scary because once you let go it goes fast. didn't want to lose any eyelashes in the process so I returned it.

Just does not work! Didn't heat up and left my eyelashes looking exactly the same. Better off keeping your $16.

Not worth the money!!
-01.03.13
I went into sephora and seen this little purple heated curler for only $20 and asked the girls working if they ever used it. They said they knew people who loved it or they loved it so i bought it. I got home and was excited to try it! I put the batteries and turned it on and waited. It had a little heat but you could hold your finger on it for a while and it wouldn't hurt you. I gave it a try on my eyelashes and it didn't do anything. Barely any heat, no strength and doesn't do anything! What a waste of money! Definitely taking it back!

Sephora Purple Heated Eyelash Curler
-01.03.13
I was excited to get this product, but after using it a couple of times, I was thoroughly disappointed. My regular eyelash curler actually works better.

eh
-01.03.13
It does work better than a regular curler but I think the heated wand curler was much better, it just doesn't get warm enough. I get better results using my regular curler and heating it up with my blow dryer

Good heated eyelash curler
-01.02.13
So, I bought this as a replacement for my DiorShow Heated Eyelash Curler that broke on me. I went to the Sephora store looking to buy another DiorShow curler (even though my first one broke because of its bad design) because it was the only one that would curl my bottom lashes as well. I bought this one because it was the only other heated eyelash curler in the store and the DiorShow wasn't in stock. I wasn't too disappointed since the DiorShow is more expensive than this one. The design of this one kind of baffled me because this one can't curl the bottom lashes and these types of curlers never worked on my lashes before. I tried this one and I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't heat up as much as the DiorShow and can't curl bottom lashes but for my Asian eyes with medium length lashes it worked pretty well. Even after my lashes cool down my curl held as well. Another added benefit is that it actually gave me double eyelids. I have hooded lids that have a small crease but using this curler I got double eyelids. It works kind of like those Asian double eyelid tools made of plastic that when you keep wearing them over time the double eyelids become permanent. Also, this eyelash curler has never pinched my eyes and I curled starting from the base of the lashes. I've always experienced pinching and lost lashes from other curlers but this one has not. While it is unfortunate that most other people did not have such a great experience with this heated curler, I do recommend trying it out. You can always return it for a full refund so its not like you're making a 100% commitment and if you like it, it was only $16 which is actually one of the cheapest eyelash curlers that Sephora offers. I am in the process of trying other heated eyelash curlers since I want one that will curl my bottom lashes as well but I think this one is still works well for me for just top lashes. The curl is more natural than when I curled my top lashes with the DiorShow. Overall, I liked this curler but do keep in mind the other reviews. It may not work for everyone but depending on your eye shape and lash length results may differ. One tip though, when using this curler try to keep the curler as flush against your eyelid skin as possible. It may alleviate the problem with high cheekbones getting in the way of the lever. I had problems with that initially but with the right angle even without the heat, this curls well.

heated eyelash curler
-12.31.12
This did not curl my lashes one bit. I've used a heated eyelash curler before with good results but this did nothing. I understand the manufacturer needs to be careful about safety, but the pad was barely warm. Also, the design made it awkward to handle.

I personally didn't like it (I returned) I gave it multiple tries but ultimately I got a better curl from a regular eyelash curler.

NOT for those who have short eyelashes
-12.30.12
Quick Take: made for people with long lashes
They don't clip your eyelashes if you don't have much eyelashes... Pulling doesn't help because they'll slip. NOT worth the money
