nails inc. Fishnet Magnetic Polish

What it is: A revolutionary magnetic nail lacquer used to create a stunning 3D fishnet effect. What it does: Create gorgeous nail art in minutes with this revolutionary polish that uses a magnet to create an amazing nail art design. This unique formula has been specially developed with metallic particles to create a fishnet nail effect using magnetic forces. As the magnet is held over the nail, the iron powder in the formulation gravitates toward the magnet forming the pattern hidden in the magnet for an astonishing finish. What else you need to know: Textured, special effects nails are still big news and the ultimate fashion accessory. Choose from three fishnet magnetic polishes named after iconic London locations.

horrible.

Quick Take: pretty color., doesn't do as it says
The color is very pretty. But, unfortunately, the magnet does not work at ALL! I went back to the store to test out the other ones, so I can exchange mine. But they all did not work.

Does NOT apply entire magnetic image
-01.10.13
I read the instructions carefully and I am no stranger to their other magnetic polishes. When you put the magnet to the nail, it will only come out on a section of your nail. It was extremely disappointing and I tried numerous times.

Pattern hard to get
-09.30.12
If the fish net effect would only be easier to get, and of course cover the whole nail I would love the product. The colors are really pretty even without the effect. But I find it takes too long to get the effect right ( involving several rounds of nail polish removing and reapplication) and I wouldn't recommend it for people with average patience :) Or maybe it is just me. However, my nails are small as are my hands, so really the magnet SHOULD cover the whole nail with ease. I have no problems with the the wave magnetic nail polish either!

Let Down
-09.04.12
This was my least favorite of the Nails Inc. magnetic polishes. I have two others in the wave effect, but this was my first purchase in the fishnet effect. All I can say about this particular polish is that it does not give a fishnet effect. At best, you might see one diamond on your nail, but no fishnet.

no good polish
-09.02.12
This polish is not worth buying. Once you apply it then do the magnet and the final result is just a plain shimmery polish. The 3D fishnet effect does not come out at all. You might get a dark line but never the fishnet effect. Not worth it...Ithat's why I love to shop at Sephora cuz if you don't like it it's always returnable/refundable with out any hesitations or questions.

Keep trying!
-08.29.12
Quick Take: fast-drying
All you have to do to make it work is turn the magnet the other way (with the curved plastic hanging over the nail, rather than sitting on the finger) and have it as close as you can possibly get it to the nail and it should work.
When I first tried this I did it the conventional way and it didn't work, just be persistent, it's worth it.

Not good enough
-08.27.12
I bought this because I own the other magnetic nail polish by Nails Inc, and returned it the day after because I was not impressed. It's really hard to get any kind of design going (and I know how to do it as I love the other wave effect polish) and when you do it's very faint, nothing like they advertise. The colors are nice but not worth the money if the magnet doesn't work!

Didn't work
-08.27.12
Quick Take: a good concept but completely a waste of money
I have used the original wave pattern nail polish, which works perfectly every time. So when this new pattern came out I was totally excited to try it out. When I got home the magnet didn't work so I brought it back to exchange, but when I got home this magnet didn't work again so I was left with gold color nail polish...what a disappointment!

Huge disappointment
-08.27.12
Quick Take: ineffective
I was very excited to finally find a polish that promised such a unique effect. I was a little put off by the price at first but thought if it looks like it does on the label/sample, it'll be worth it. IT DOES NOT WORK! I was so disappointed. I could barely get the effect to work on the whole nail, it only seemed to work right down the center. I definitely got my money back, not worth buying!

I have the original magnetic nail polish from Nails Inc. and it works just fine. This one doesn't work.

Magnetic nail polish was not worth the money. First of all it didn't work - then the magnet fell off and was lost!

So bummed.
-08.22.12
I finally got around to buying this and was so unimpressed. I am a big Nails Inc. fan and have used the swirl design magnetic nail polish to great accolades; however the fishnet design did not work for me at all. I am aware of how to use the product and it just did not work for me. I bought it yesterday, in Piccadilly, and will be returning it A.S.A.P. I did not read the reviews previous to purchase and wish I had now. I can't say that I'm not envious of the two people that say they had a great experience with this product, as I was truly looking forward to having gold fishnet nails.

Quick Take: chip resistent, long wearing, fast-drying
My girls had a lot of fun with this nail polish. Something a little bit different. It did work, even though I have read other reviews saying it didn't. So don't let that put you off trying. IT DOES WORK

The magnetic cap did absolutely nothing and the wear of the polish is lousy. It doesn't work without the magnetic effect, and it certainly doesn't work with it.
I love the wave magnetic polish and am so disappointed in this one.

rip off

Quick Take: terrible
I followed the directions and NOTHING. Did I get a bad bottle with a demagnetized cap, or is this just a load of garbage?

This product looked really fun, but it doesn't work and chips in less than 24 hours. For the price I expected MUCH more

LOVE IT! You so have to make sure that the second coat is VERY thick, but that's no biggie.

Dissapointing
-07.31.12
I had purchased the wave effect magnetic polish and LOVED it, so I decided to try the fishnet one. I ended up being really disappointied with it. The polish was much thicker than the wave effect polish, and I hardly got any fishnet effect. I exchanged it, thinking that maybe I just got a bad bottle, but the second bottle was also thick even after adding some polish thinner. While the gold one was nice without the effect, it wasn't worth the price to use it as a regular polish.

Very Disappointing
-07.26.12
Quick Take: virtually useless, disappointing
The only good thing about this nail polish is the color. I got the green, and it's great, but I guarantee you can find an equally beautiful shade (while maintaining quality) for MUCH cheaper.
I don't know if I had a faulty magnet or something, but this design hardly worked at all. I have the wavy designs and those work pretty well for me, so it's not like I'm confused about how this works. I tried multiple times with no decent success. If I was lucky, I could get one little diamond shape on my entire nail. I even tried the fishnet magnet with colors that came with the wavy design magnets. That failed, as well; however, using the wavy magnet with green worked, so I know it's not the polish that's the issue.
Lastly, I was able to get a striped effect if I used the fishnet magnet and moved it back and forth across my nail, so that was kind of neat. Of course, it only worked on one nail though.
