Quick Take: milky, healing, cleansing
I have many allergies so my skin is usually pretty sensitive to any products. It dries easy and by the end of the day it gets really oily in the T-zone. I have such frustrating skin to work with! Before using this product i used Proactive. It worked amazing when i first started using it but then about a couple years after it just stopped working.. so thats when i came to this product due to its incredible reviews.
I started using this product on April 3rd and have been using it twice a day (morning and night) for 30-60 seconds. For the first two weeks of using it, my acne got worse! I was quite frustrated considering all the amazing reviews it got and then having the slim chances of it not working on me. My mom recommended i give it a little more time to see if anything improves... So thats what i have done! Here is what i have concluded:
For some reason with this face wash i get pimples more than i do the regular zits. BUT - this face wash helps my skin heal so fast! Usually it takes a pimple's mark a couple of weeks to go away, but i have noticed that it clears within a week. Yay! This face wash helps my skin HEAL
Because my skin is sensitive to most products, it usually gets red and irritated right after i wash it or put toner/moisturizer on it. But once i am done using this face wash, my skin looks clear - without redness or irritation. Love it!
When my face is dry after washing it, it feels tight. Mainly my forehead and nose area - not sure why. It makes my skin feel dry and closed off from any moisture that could help it. So, for my skin type and the results from this face wash, i have to apply a moisturizer to keep my skin from peeling or going dry.
Obviously every one's skin type is different. A lot of the reviews mentioned the skin conditions they had that were similar to mine - that's what convinced me to buy this product. Maybe i will write an additional review in a couple months to see if anything improves.
Overall, i feel like i have healthier skin! Even though i break out and have dry skin still, i do feel like my skin is healthier with the feel and ability to heal. Im not completely convinced to recommend this to any one just quite yet, but that's just me!
oh! And i love the smell :) - its a cleansing citrusy kind of smell

I have been using this product for a month with no other acne products. I have tried many many different products with no success. The only things that worked were prescribed to me by my dermatologist. Unfortunately, that got really expensive. I have combination skin and live in a very humid climate (HI). I get pretty stressed and breakout more during my time of the month. This product worked magically! I didn't have severe acne, but it was a really big problem. Now I only breakout very minimally, when it is my time of the month. It feels great to use concealer and foundation less often!

Im afraid to even give a review cause Im afraid that the product wont work as amazing once I post this!!! I bought this May 6th and I use it twice a day with my Clarisonic and I couldnt believe how it cleared up the acne I was getting on my jawline and one in my cheek like a deep down that wont budge! I mean by day 3 yes DAY 3 all of it was GONEEEEEEEE!!!! Its been a week today and I am beyond happy face isnt dry havent experienced any new breakouts its controled the oils in my Tzone and its freaking awesome! GET IT Like Yesterday!!!

Burned my skin, doesn't clear it!

I decided to try Clear Days Ahead based on its positive reviews and after using B. Kamins' acne line for years before.
The first time I tried this, I followed the directions on the packaging: massage into my skin for 30-60 seconds. Well, after two days of following these instructions, I ended up with a nice chemical burn on my face. So I stopped using it and switched to something very gentle to allow my skin to heal. I did give it another chance, though, leaving it on my skin for only the time it takes to massage in and rinse off, but I honestly have way worse skin/acne than I did before using this. I really can't recommend it or say much good about it at all, except maybe that it smells nice.

I don't normally write reviews but I love this product! I had been suffering from acne and this stuff cleared my skin in a week, you don't need that much product and it smells great. I would definitely recommend.

Great everyday cleanser

I have drier acne prone skin and I bought this cleanser after hearing so many great reviews on it, I think it is a pretty decent cleanser for my skin, it smells amazing like a citrus it's great for waking up in the morning. I did notice a decrease in my visible acne on my chin but it was nothing miraculous, it was great at not drying my skin out but it didn't make my face clearer over night or anything...

Favorite face wash

Quick Take: clean, cleanser, acne
This is my absolute favorite face wash. I used to use harsh scrubs on my face because it never felt clean enough now I use this with a clarisonic brush and my skin feels great. Doesn't dry out your skin either which is nice because it has such strong acne fighting ingredients. As far as the entire Clear Days Ahead line I liked it but I have really only stuck with the cleanser because it is worth the money and lasts a long time.

Prevents Breakouts

I bought this product after reading the reviews in this website and I am not disappointed at all. It cleared up my face after 3 or 4 days. I have tried many other acne washes and none of them have delivered results like this one, it got rid of most of my acne. It does leave skin a bit dry. Will buy again.

I have dry skin and after 3 days of using this product my face was so dry it was flaking off! And I still have the same amount of breakouts as before. I normally really love Philosophy, but this was disappointing. It does seem to clean well and remove makeup.

Nothing else has worked like this

I just bought my second bottle after using this product for a year now so I feel it's fitting to review it now:
I have always had acne breakouts ever since I was twelve, I've tried dermatology treatments/products and every drugstore line you could buy but nothing has worked for my skin quite like this has. My skin was at its worst it had been in years when I went into Sephora; feeling defeated by my acne I purchased this after an employee helped me out and honestly I wasn't expecting much but the night I used it my skin felt amazing! I also bought Ole Henriksen Invigorating night gel recommended also to use after washing and I know the two combined have literally saved my skin. I was expecting it to take at least a month for any results to show but within a couple days my skin was looking great, it cleared up all the breakouts that were current and now the only time I really breakout is from hormone changes, but even that is not nearly as bad as it use to be. I'm so happy to see my skin clear consistently and not have a new breakout every week. I use my Clarasonic with it as well.

I've tried my fair share of facial cleansers with salicylic acid and I've used this for about 4 months now. I find that it dries me out more in areas I already had dry patches but helps to clean areas that are really oily well (such as my t-zone). I have acne prone, oily/combination skin, so if you were thinking about buying this with the same skin type as myself, I'd skip this.

I have had dry/oily skin and break out very easy. I started usibg this in a few days you could tell after two weeks you could really see the difference. It has been 2 months and my face is clear!!! Also I use every morning and night and I still have half a bottle!!!!

I have tried so many different face washes. This is the only one that has been able to keep my acne away. I tried the trail kit first, and I loved it so I have now bought the full size of all the products in the clear days ahead line. It does make my skin a little dry, but I started using hope in a jar for dry skin and that seems to help that. Overall its amazing and I'm so happy with my skin. I've never been acne free for this long before.

This stuff is not too strong on my skin so it doesn't cause dry skin for me, luckily, but just strong enough so it helps with my break outs! It is very clean and smells nice, nothing it too strong, like some face washes. This is perfect for my skin!

I've only been using this cleanser for about a week so I don't have a definite opinion on it, but it has really dried my skin around my nose and mouth. It does seem to keep my breakouts at bay, but it's drying it out at the same time.
