Lovely but not longlasting

Quick Take: good value
I bought this for Summer and it will be a nice, light scent. As another reviewer noted, it has a sunny, light honey scent. Unfortunately, it does not last very long on me in Spring weather, so I'm not sure how long it will last in the sweltering heat. Even so, I'm eager to try additional Guerlain fragrances.

Quick Take: good value
I first tested this fragrance in France. I immediately fell in love and though "SUMMER". The summery musks and florals stood out to me more than the lemon notes. My only complaint is that the scent doesn't last very long - but of course I have been wearing it in VERY hot weather. The bottle is large and a great value.

Quick Take: good value
I could not resist this bottle, and I am good at resisting perfumes. It has the most beautiful, lingering, honey-rich scent after the initial lily blast. It's got some of the girly sweetness of perfumes that are popular now but without the tacky synthetic qualities. The Aqua Allegorias I've smelled before were much greener and more transient than this. I think it is a real winner.

Quick Take: good value
First impression on a blotter was only meh. Took a wearing on skin to get used to the vanilla which reads as warm to me, with the fresh, cool and green aspects of the lily. This smells like walking barefoot on cool shaded grass while running a hand through a bunch of sunwarmed lilies. It's a fairly linear fragrance, in that it doesn't develop so much. It's more like different aspects of the fragrance take turns coming up. Complex enough to be entertaining through a wearing and yet light enough to refresh. You could wear this anywhere.

smells interesting..but in a bad way!

This perfume just didn't blend extremely well with my skin...It doesn't smell horrible...but it doesn't smell particularly good either. It is an o.k. floral spicy scent that is original but not a "WOW" scent. It's definitely not sexy. It's weird. .I usually either love or hate Guerlain fragrances...this one I could really careless about. It's definitely going back.
