Returned this immediately. I was unable to use the product because the opening of the tube was too small and it wiped the mascara completely off the applicator so the brush was absolutely dry. Never put the brush to my eye.

Quick Take: terrible, doesn't work, droopy
I have very thick and long lashes to the point where applying any colored mascara results in it getting all over my face. I bought this product thinking that it was clear so even if it got everywhere no one would see it. Problem is...it doesn't work. My lashes look limp and bare. The brush is terrible. I don't even think the mascara comes out of the tube. I was so excited when i originally bought this because I thought it would answer all my problems. I am back to using my black mascara and just cleaning up my face with a Q-tip.

Quick Take: annoying
I also had a problem with the wand. Instead of not getting any product on the wand, I found the wand in pieces in the product. Bristles everywhere! When I pulled out the wand, even more pieces broke off, revealing a metal protrusion. I can't comment on the actual product since I never got to use it.

Quick Take: bad tube design
Well, I should have listened to the other reviews that mentioned the difficulty in getting the product out of the tube. I had hoped they just got a rare defective one...& it wouldn't happen to me. Wrong. By the time you manage to get the wand out thru that tight little opening...there is really only essence of product left on the brush. Basically nothing left... as the "essence" of product air dries before you even get near your lashes. Tried loosening the bristles up by pushing the wand in and out dozens of times, but no success. What a waste of money. Someone needs to go back to the drawing board on the design of this thing. I have no idea what the rave reviewers could be talking about. Did they chew the thing open? Can't even send it back as I live in Hawaii and the return postage would cost me more than the refund. I'd take a pass on this one unless you want to pay $12 for a cool looking empty brush.

I wasn't sure about this when I bought it but am glad I did. It is now a part of my daily routine. And sometimes in the eve before bed when I remember. Seperated my long lashes, doesn't irritate the skin around my eyes which is super sensitive and adds a bit of "pop" to my eyes on days when I go almost no-makeup. Minus one star because the brush does seem a bit too large for the opening.

Quick Take: defining, curl-enhancing, nicely glossy
I received this as a gift from a friend who knows my habit of either wearing my "full face" or nothing. I never had a middle ground - but now I do! This gives amazing definition for my lashes with no mascara "lOOk". I have curly lashes, and the seems to make that stand out more (I never use a curler). I love the wand - wish I had one for my regular mascara!

Quick Take: defining
The main reason why I wanted a clear mascara was just to hold the curl after using an eyelash curler and define the lashes. It did define my lashes, but it definitely DID NOT hold the curl. As soon as I applied it to my freshly curled lashes, my lashes started to slowly droop down, almost back to its natural position. However, it still does help lift my lashes away from my eyes and gives me some nice definition.

This was a total waste of money. The opening is too tight, or the brush is too thick for the tube, so absolutely no product is left on the brush for application. One star is even over-rated.

I chose this product because it had good ratings, however I can't hardly get anything on the wand. It is such a tight squeeze coming out of the tube that there is barely anything left to put on your eyebrows. I am taking it back.

I don't wear mascara because my lashes already touch my glasses naturally, I bought this to just separate my lashes and I'm glad I did, clear mascara seems to be hard or non-existent these days...Kudos Sephora for the return of my much needed clear mascara

I have very thick upper lid lashes and very long bottom ones as well. On the outer corner they usually get sort of tangled together (making my eyes look a little smaller).
With this mascara, they stay tangle free! It's perfect. I do one coat on top, then on bottom., curl my upper lashes, let dry, they do another coat.
On a clean face it works great on brows as well.

I really wanted to love this product. I've never used a mascara definer or primer before, so I bought this one to try it out. I have EXTREMELY long lashes and this made my lashes brittle and made them lose all of their curl. Works wonders on bottom lashes, though!

I find that black mascara is too much for my every day look, but when I apply power foundation, some always sticks to my eye lashes making them look dull. This is where the clear mascara comes in and helps to define my naturally full lashes, separating them and returning them to their natural color. It was a great buy and have used it almost every day since.
