no good
-05.15.13
Quick Take: too much, wet looking
This product is horrible. Too much gel comes out on the applicator and it literally looks like you put hair get on your eyebrows. The only way it works is if you wipe most of it off on a towel and then apply.

Awful!
-05.12.13
I used the Sephora clear mascara before and I thought I was getting the same product. What a mistake. The worst brush in the world and a goopy product.

Nope
-04.30.13
Quick Take: gooey
This is not a normal brow 'gel'. It's gooey and waxy, doesn't set your brows in place or lock your powder in, it mixes with the powder and makes a paste. Perhaps it might be good for someone who doesn't apply color to brows, simply needs to tame unruly hairs.

Nice but gooey
-04.21.13
This product does what I bought it for, which is keeping my eyebrow hairs in place. But it is a gel/oil mixture and after you apply it, once dry it feels sticky like if I had put chap stick on my eyebrows. Also, you need to apply after you eye shadows and everything else is done, if not you'll get eyeshadow powder stuck on your eyebrow hairs and it'll dry there. I had sparkly white eyebrows one day :(

Horrible applicator
-04.16.13
Just happened to pick this product up without much consideration and I'm sad I did. The applicator is terrible and picks up way to much gel which then gloops up on my brows. Even after all that I find that it doesn't even hold up the hair well

Feels like Sticky glue!
-04.07.13
Quick Take: way too sticky and thick
I love the Sephora Lash & Eyebrow gel which seems to be discontinued. I bought this thinking it was the same in new packaging but this formula is totally different. The brush has no bristles, its cheap plastic and doesnt comb hairs. It is so sticky it felt like rubber cement on my brows and skin. It matted them down and felt PLEASE BRING BACK THE LASH AND EYEBROW MASCARA. It was perfect before. I hate paying so much for other brow gels now.

Way too sticky
-04.02.13
This brow gel was recommended to me in-store when they didn't have my usual. The brush is similar to the newer mascaras with rubber nubs instead or bristles...they aren't long enough so it takes many strokes to get the brows where you want them. The problem with that is that with every stroke, you are applying more of the super-gooey gel. It holds well , but even after using eye makeup remover and washing my face at night, my brows still feel sticky. I also find that the excess gel flakes up and looks white...brow dandruff is not good. And, I have basically ruined my brow brush. Even if I let the gel dry before filling, my brush (and then the shadow) gets all sticky. Bad purchase. It's going back.

Very Good Brow Gel!
-03.27.13
Quick Take: water resistant, long lasting, sticky
I must be part of a small group that loves this brow gel. I have very thick, very dark hair and my eyebrows stick out in multiple directions. This gel really holds them in place. It is sticky and heavy feeling, but I LIKE that I can feel the hairs staying put, as opposed to feeling them sticking out in every direction! Knocked off a star because it will flake off by the end of the night. I wash my face with Neutrogena products, and didn't have any issues with this coming off.

Brow gel is great but brush is terrible
-03.21.13
The brush isn't much of a brush, one of those stubbly types so it pulls out too much gel each time. I keep trying to wipe excess on the edge of the tube so I don't waste any but it's really hard to get excess off without a tissue. I prefer the wands with the mascara type brush. Unfortunately, I think this is going to have to go back to the store.

Horrible
-03.19.13
This is the worst brow gel I've used. It's really sticky -- which is definitely not what you want your brows to be like throughout the day.

Too Waxy
-03.11.13
Quick Take: sticky, waxy, waterproof, long-lasting
Applicator comes out with way too much product; product dries sticky/waxy and feels stiff all day; gives brows an awkward white-ish color in overhead fluorescent lighting. Feel like I wasted my money. It does last all day (and then some) and it is waterproof though.

Eh.
-03.09.13
Quick Take: waxy, long lasting
My brows aren't too thick or too thin, but they are light and somewhat patchy. They also seem to not want to grown in the direction I want them to, hence, the need for a brow gel.
Now, maybe I'm doing it wrong, but even after wiping some off the applicator there is still too much. It doesn't look clear, it looks slightly waxy. Even when I've tried to just use the end and not use it like a mascara wand, I still have to go over it with a brush or my finger to get the excess off so it doesn't dry that color.
Otherwise, it does a great job and lasts a long time

meh
-03.04.13
Quick Take: water resistant
The gel comes out too thick and forget trying to wipe off the excess. When you begin to wash it of your face, it becomes gummy. It takes 2 washing with a facial cleanser to remove it. I will not buy this product again.

Just ok
-03.02.13
This brow gel is just a little too "wet" for me. Because of that it is a little gloppy- it results in a brow with clumps of gel rather than just a nice uplifted, shaped brow.

do not buy!
-02.09.13
I used to use the Sephora brand clear brow gel that came in a smaller, transparent tube. When I went in to replace it, I was told that this was the same thing, they just changed the packaging. Wrong! It will make your brows very very stiff. It's supposed to keep them in place, not make them hard as rocks. And if you try to brush your brows the gel will start to flake like dandruff. And good luck putting brow powder on after applying this. The powder won't stick because the hairs of your brows are coated with this thick, sticky, hard gel. It's terrible. I returned it and got the Anastasia one for $10 more and it is fine. Sephora do your customers a favor and take this off the shelves!!!
went to Sephora last week looking for the Sephora brand brow gel when I was told that the little one has been discontinued but there is a new one that is bigger and better! Lies! This is the worst product I have ever purchased. The gel makes your brows so hard which should be good but it you happen to touch your face and agitate your brows the product flakes. I went to get my eyebrows done and the lady at the salon asked if I was getting grey hairs in my eyebrows because that is what it looks like when the product flakes! Then it is supposed to be removable with face wash- also not true. I had to wash my face (my brows) so many time to get the hard hair spray like feeling to go away.
I am so disappointed and annoyed because now I have to go back and spend more money on a different product...this time I will at least look at the ratings beforehand! Ugh!

AN EYE-OPENING DISASTER
-02.09.13
Quick Take: water resistant
Ran to Sephora last week, the day before a flight, for my usual Sephora brand clear brow gel. Once again, a product I adore, discontinued! According to the Sephora associate it was just "re-packaged" ! 4:00 AM the next morning I applied it on the way to the airport as my husband drove. When we arrived I ran to the restroom, looked in the mirror and "couldn't believe my eyes"!! My brows were white!! Tried to wash it off & it didn't budge! My eyebrows were left with a sticky adhesive like glue that I was "stuck" with for the remainder of the day! If I could give it zero stars I would! Returned ASAP
