Quick Take: synthetic hair
I thought that a brush that cost $40+ would be fairly decent. I have never had a brush shed so much even from a drug store!! I was using proper stippling technique. Ug. However the end results were very nice once all hairs were removed.

Quick Take: synthetic hair
i bought this brush to apply foundation. before using i cleaned it 2 times. when i finally used the brush i was covered in black hairs that came loose from the brush. the brush does give an even coverage but i continue to have to pick off black bristles from my face.

Quick Take: synthetic hair
I love Sephora products but this one was a bust. I washed it and applied liquid foundation twice, each time using a different technique, and was covered with black hairs. So many that I had to wash my face and start over with a different foundation brush.

Great Stippling Brush when used correctly

Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair
I had no problem with this brush at all. No shedding. But maybe people are using it to apply foundation like you would a flat foundation brush where you press into the skin using flat, circular motions. Stippling is when you barely dip the tips of the brush into foundation and then apply it lightly (w/o pressing) using circular motions but ONLY the white tips touch your face (use a butterfly soft touch). It takes practice but once you get good at it the benefits are: (1) you're not pulling on your skin (2) you really can get a lighter more flawless finish because you're not dragging heavier bristles across your face (3) You'll use less foundation overall but get a better finish so the results are more like your skin... but better. I use it with buildable med/full coverage foundations.

Quick Take: synthetic hair
I bought this a while back because my sister used a stippling brush on me and I loved the finish it gives. After buying my this, I'm content with the way this applies and finishes (I use small circular motions) HOWEVER. This brush sheds A LOT, and that really disappointed me because of the price of it. $45 on this brush and every time I apply foundation I end up with brush hairs all over my face. Wish I didn't buy this, I think I could have gotten the same quality stippling brush for half the price.

Quick Take: god-awful
Positively the *worst* brush I have ever used in my life. Shed all over my face when I tried to use it to put on my foundation. I tried to pick the fibers out with tweezers, but gave up and just washed my face in frustration, even though I had already spent quite a lot of time on my eyes. I cannot believe this brush is a Sephora Pro brush. I would expect a dollar store brush to be better quality than this. I could not find my receipt for a return, so I just threw it away instead.

Quick Take: not good, would not recommend, sephora should discontinue this product
I ordered this brush and returned it after one use. The brush sheds terribly and bristles stick on your face as foundation is applied. I own several Sephora pro brushes and am disappointed at the very poor quality of this product.

Only works good when you stipple

This brush sheds alot when you use it in a brushing motion. I used it with Kat Von D foundation and half of the hairs from this brush was left on my face. But once I realized that if you only use the stippling technique it works wonders and no shedding. Just go to YOUTUBE and find stippling brush application tutorial.

This is a great brush to use when applying your primer or foundation. Only problem I have with it is that it sheds quite a bit NOT GREAT FOR THE PRICE. Does it do the job yes, would I purchase it again no, at least not for that price!

Quick Take: synthetic hair, soft bristles, not worth the money
When I first got the brush, it shedded. I thought if I washed it it would get all the loose hairs out but nope. I use this to apply my blush and it sheds. I don't exactly recommend it but I don't regret buying it because it does apply blush nicely, but I should've bought the stippling brush from Real Techniques.

I love all the brushes I've gotten from Sephora, with the exception of this one. It sheds like crazy, and the first time I washed it the dye from the black hairs bled and stained the white hairs.

This Is my First stippling brush I think it works pretty well I have only used it with liquid foundationvand found my application a WHOLE lot easier and it looks better I just wish the bristles were a little bit harder .

the brush worked just ok for how much it cost. i ended up returning it. it didnt do the job i was expecting and most importantly, way to many of the hairs on the brush came out the forst time i used it. i ended up picking hairds off my face for a good 15 minutes.
