Quick Take: natural hair
A good brush, but definitely a specialty eye shadow application brush, rather than an all-over one. Because the bristles are not very supple, eye shadow can sometimes inadvertently be splayed beyond the intended area of application. This can be corrected with a make-up remover wipe, however. Otherwise, this picks up and holds onto pigment very well. Additionally the long handle makes it easy to work with.

I was looking for a really dense brush so I could pack on and build color, and this works great! Very precise application, and I also use it for blending. Four stars because it os only the slightest bit scratchy.

Quick Take: worth the money
This brush has taken my daily makeup look to another fabulous level. I use it to add depth to my eye makeup. The brush picks up and deposits color well. A great investment.

Definitely a precision brush

Quick Take: soft bristles, dense, good weight in hand
I have mixed emotions on this brush. It is certainly precise when it comes to darker shadow colors. Almost too precise. It takes additional work to blend out the dark shadows which can be time consuming. This brush I can see being ideal for going out eyes because you can take the extra time to apply and blend. (I even like this brush for blending honestly.) The brush fibers are very dense. They pick up a lot of product. Which again, fantastic for dark smokey eyes. For daytime with lighter product though, I find that I have to really pack on product. I'm keeping this brush though, and I'm going to buy the Pro Crease Brush #17 hoping that works for daytime.

I was looking for something that wasn't overly fluffy and was told by the Sephora employee that this was the best brush they carried for creases. It works great for lighter- less pigmented shades but I have to very careful when using darker shades because it picks up too much shadow and is not helpful in blending at all. It leaves pretty harsh lines that take me extra time to really blend out.

Maybe I have smaller eyes than everyone else, but I was disappointed with the size of this brush. This is supposed to be a crease brush and the other reviews I read all supported this, however I found the brush to be much too large to really get into the crease of my eye without getting eyeshadow all over my lid. I will end up just using the brush for general blending and not the specific purpose I bought it for. My search to replace my crease brush continues.

I bought 3 of the Sephora Collection Pro brushes and I love them all. They're really well made and deliver exactly what they promise.
This brush takes color and puts it right in the exact spot of my crease that I want it to go. It's like the brush knows exactly what I want and can read my mind. Since it's got a wide base, it disperses color out instead of creating a harsh line.
A word of caution though, this brush does tend to pick up quite a bit of pigment, so use a light hand.
Once you get the hang of how much to apply, it's a rockstar!

I really like this brush. It's excellent for applying a contour shade to your lid. It picks up shadow very well. Be careful when using this with very pigmented shadows. You might end up with a color that is too intense. As long as you know what you are doing, you should be fine.

A little clunky since the handle is probably 8 inches long, but a very nice quality brush that picks up and holds shadow well to give great application coverage. Blends and handles the crease well. Way nicer than I expected on sale. Worth the full price.

Happy I Purchased It

I had wanted this brush for a long time but didn't want to spend the money. I had many other brushes that I thought could do a good job of applying color to my eye crease area but they never really worked well. I am so glad I broke down and bought this brush. It applies the right amount of eyeshadow in exactly the right places with little effort on my part. Wish I had bought it sooner.
