Fresh Soy Shampoo

What it is: A daily hydrating shampoo for all hair types. What it does: This citrus-scented shampoo maintains the hair's natural moisture levels to prevent breakage that causes static and split ends. Enriched with strengthening soy proteins, it maximizes elasticity and minimizes future breakage for healthy, shiny, strong hair. What it is formulated WITHOUT:- Synthetic Dyes- Phthalates- GMOs- Triclosan What else you need to know: Shea butter and jojoba oil lock in moisture and restore shine while a soft and fragrant blend of orange, grapefruit, and mango invigorates the senses and lingers for hours.

The smell takes getting used to. The actual shampoo is ok. I don't notice any difference in my hair compared to other shampoos

A long-time fan
-01.10.13
Quick Take: good for daily use, great smelling
I've used soy shampoo for several years and just love it. I have fine hair that is frosted. I also use a light conditioner, otherwise this shampoo might be too drying. The smell is out of this world wonderful!

Best shampoo ever!
-01.04.13
Quick Take: hydrating, smoothing, good for daily use, best shampoo ever!
I found this last year and have used it ever since, along with the pomegranate conditioner. It is expensive but a bottle lasts me a good couple of months - you only need a small amount, even with longer hair. Sadly, it is no longer sold in my Sephora store :( I finally found the perfect haircare solution and now it is gone :(

Very expensive but very nice
-11.22.12
Quick Take: very nice
Fresh shampoo is very expensive but given that I have very sensitive scalp, it worked great and has not caused me any problems.

Wonderful
-10.26.12
Quick Take: hydrating, good for daily use, smoothing
This shampoo smells wonderful, and has noticeably improved the strength of my hair. It is gentle, yet also cleans away excess oil and product without stripping it of all moisture. I prefer it to Bumble and Bumble, Living Proof, and similarly priced brands. I quite enjoy Kerastase, but this product certainly rivals it.

Okay
-09.19.12
I like the way this smells. It is definitely not moisturizing. I feel like my scalp had a deep clean when I use this. Probably would not buy again if I wanted something to make my hair really soft but think it does a good job of deep cleansing despite the description.

This shampoo coupled with Fresh's Pomegranate conditioner has been my favorite shampoo & conditioner for years. I have color treated (dyed black) fine hair that tends more towards oily than dry. This product leaves my hair super shiny and silky soft and not weighed down like other shampoos. It also does a good job of preserving the color. I live in NYC, but in dry climates (like California) where your hair needs more moisture, this might not be the best shampoo for you.

Smells great
-07.23.12
Love the smell, but it was not moisturizing enough for me. let my daughters use it and they liked it. It left their long straight blonde hair shiny and bouncy. It takes a lot of shampoo to get their hair clean so I will not be buying again.

Not really moisturizing...
-06.16.12
To give context: I have dry, pixie short hair that means I only need to wash it about 1-2/week max.
I bought the product in part because of the claims of moisturizing. Unfortunately, I just don't feel that they are that true. I've seen other reviewers say that they feel like they need to use conditioner after this and I would agree.
The shampoo does have a very pleasant smell to it and I do think it works well with color treated hair.
Overall though, I'd say this is probably best suited for normal hair rather than dry hair. Once I (eventually) get through this bottle I'll be looking for something else.

Love Some Things About It
-03.28.12
Quick Take: hydrating, rich, doesn't have a matching conditioner, smells wonderful
The scent is awesome. Hair feels squeaky clean, and a tiny amount goes a long way, so not as pricey as it seems.
Things I'm not as thrilled about are, I expected higher moisturizing affect for the price, and they don't make a complimenting conditioner. The later I find pretty incredible. I've never purchased a shampoo without a matching conditioner. Believe me, you need a conditioner with it. I use a hair oil after shampooing with it.
Even though I'm oversll very pleased, probably won't purchase again until they make a conditioner.

Worst than bad
-03.10.12
Quick Take: bad
I bought the shampoo and the conditioner, I use "fresh" lips balm and is the bomb, so I thought that the hair products will be great as well, besides they are so expensive, I paid like $50 for both, not only that they are not good, the shampoo is really bad, leaves your hair stiff like if you washed it with dishes detergent.
I thought that maybe if I use it for a few days I will see the difference, and the only thing I saw was my hair getting dryer and looking horrible. So went back to Sephora and returned both.

love!
-01.27.12
Quick Take: hydrating, fragrant
i have a really hard time finding a shampoo that 1) doesn't weigh down my baby baby fine hair, and 2) reduces static. after many 'typical' pricey shampoo products that promise volume and moisture, i finally found my perfect match with fresh!
the scent is lovely. and the results combined with fresh's pomegranate conditioner are wonderful! my hair is soft and bouncy, with no static!

Great for fine, colored, dry hair
-01.08.12
Quick Take: smoothing, hydrating
My hair is fine and dry. I've never been able to find a shampoo that was moisturizing but didn't weigh my hair down. When I was in the Fresh store on Newbury Street in Boston, the sale associate recommended this product along with the Pomegranate Conditioner . At first, I was a bit apprehensive due to the price, but after the first week I was hooked! I use only a quarter size amount (as a little goes along way) and my hair has never looked or felt better.

This product is kinda high priced. I don't really like the consistency and the scent is weak. However, it does do a great job in washing my hair, and is gentle.

Transformative
-12.08.11
Quick Take: smoothing, hydrating
Prior to trying Fresh I was using an organic shampoo designed for dry, coarse hair that actually made my hair more dry and stripped. Whenever I would go see my hairdresser, she used to always try to get me to do a deep conditioning treatment because my hair was so dry. Then I tried Fresh, and my hair has become more soft and manageable. I also have significantly less "fly-away' strands. Last week I went in to see my hairdresser again and she commented on how soft and glossy my hair looked----Wow! That was not something I was expecting from a professional. This shampoo is also supremely mild and gentle. I often times don't use conditioner or styling products on my hair, but since I've had such great results with this shampoo, I will probably also try one of the Fresh conditioners.

While this product claims to be hydrating and probably is for some, I haven't noticed any change in my hair texture. However, the smell and lather is amazing!
