Quick Take: greasy, increased break-outs
I purchased this product to use as a night moisturizer, as I am a big fan of Peter Thomas Roth's Uber-Dry Sunscreen Spf 30. I have acne-prone skin so I was sold on the oil-free component.
However, the product left my face and neck feeling greasy and itchy after each night's application. I had an increase in acne and redness. After a little over a week, I discontinued use of the product.
I would not recommend this product to acne-prone beauty-goers looking for a lightweight nightly moisturizer.

Quick Take: lightweight
I bought this moisturizer because they were out of the one that I had been using and decided to give a new one a go. First, I was hesitant about liking this since it seemed like my skin might not be taking too kindly to it. The problem was actually my cleanser and not this. Once I switched out my cleanser, this moisturizer was been amazing. It goes on really lightly but moisturizes completely. I actually now prefer it to my old moisturizer. It seems to be just enough for my dry areas and not too much for my oily areas (I have combination skin). Overall, I would recommend this to people who have sensitive skin and who need something light. And in response to some other reviews, I don't find the smell to be bad.

Quick Take: smooth, light, not greasy
On my last visit to Sephora I was bummed to learn they no longer sold the DDF ultra-light moisturizer that I've been using. The sales assoc suggested this one by Peter Thomas Roth. I gave it a try even tho it's a bit more expensive than I remember the DDF being. And you know what, it's really wonderful. I like having a facial moisturizer that doesn't have sunscreen for times when I just want a little something. And then I'll layer it with sunscreen. But sometimes just using one with sunscreen doesn't give me that nice moisturized feeling, so I like to use a normal one for those times. I have been happy with this one.

I am fairly new to the PTR brand but I absolutely adore this line! I wanted to take the time to write a review because I have such a high opinion of these products. NI used to use DDF ultra lite moisturizing dew but Sephora stopped selling it. I could not find anything that was as gentle and moisturizing on my sensitive skin. then a store associate recommended this..and how happy I am! I am on my second bottle and I just love it! My skin is very sensitive due to having my thyroid removed and because of the hormones related to that, it is very difficult to find a great light, oil free moisturizer that won't wreak havoc on my skin. I use this in conjunction with the PTR gentle face wash and a few times a week I use the orange anti-aging wash. Together, I have been really happy with the results!

I bought this for my daughter who has combination skin, and she loves it. It doesn't cause breakouts where her skin is oily, yet moisturizes her skin that is prone to dryness. She is very happy with this product.

Quick Take: lightweight
I use the PTR acne line so my skin is really dry. This moisturizer is sorry! I believe this contributed to breakouts that I am already dealing with and doesn't provide enough moisture for me. I'm looking for something for sensitive skin that will give me that dewey look. I like that it's lightweight but this product is certainly not worth the price.

I have used the old formula of this moisturizer and to be honest i liked it but for $42 dollars it didnt stand out as much as i thought it would. I did like it however just thought i could find something that did a little more. My skin is very fussy first off, extremely oily due to genetics, and acne nothing i should complain about but i always have 3 im fighting with coming and going lol. but blackheads are an issue. i use my clarisonic mia 2x a day with the deep pore brush head and i use the PTR 2 % beta hydroxy face wash with the PTR max complexion corrections pads and i switch off some days with the PTR acne clearing gel.
Any who moisturizers are hard for me to find. I've tried them all from drugstore to you can only get in a dermatologist's office stuff. This moisturizer is very lite, but definitely hydrating because of the new ingredients like the hyaluronic acid and aloe. like i said its so lite and airy yet so hydrating your your skin just drinks it up and its not oily at all. it helps my oily skin to not be so overly oily because my skin is hydrated. love this new formula a must have!

I have only been using the product for a few weeks... and with adult acne prone skin... i was nervous to try a new product although the one i was using clearly was not working. this product is not only not heavy.. but it absorbs quickly leaving no greasy residue on my face. my face has zero dry spots and as far as the acne part... I am using it in combo with the Peter Thomas Roth acne system. seems to be helping... however i like to give products about a month to see a real difference.

Quick Take: cooling, scented, soothing, light airy hydrating
This moisturizer is so amazing and it has made great changes in my skin already and ive only been using it for 2 weeks now. the moisturizer i was using before this one was DDF ultra lite oil free moisturizing dew and i loved it was using it for a while. so when i ran out of my bottle i was just curious to look at other ones because for some reason my skin couldn't completely clear up.
So i was reading reviews on sephora and alot of people complained that the DDF moisture dew had a known pore clogger in it and wasnt good for oily acne prone skin even thou it says on the bottle it is good for that skin type. well i ditched it and heard this one is very similar but way better for oily and acne prone skin types.
well i must say i am blown away because the DDF moisturizer is what was preventing my skin from completely clearing up. and literally with in 2 days the few pimples i had were going away. this moisturizer is the best it feels so light on the skin it calms my redness and soothes on contact. and it wayyy more oil controling that DDF moisturizer. im so happy with this that the $42 is so worth it. give it a try it really is going to change your skin for the better :)

You don't want to know how many moisturizers I've tried over the years...
I have adult acne and am therefore forced to use products to control it: salicylic acid cleansers, glycolic peels, etc. The result has left my skin dried out and at times over processed. No moisturizer was able to bring balance back to my skin, until now! At first, this moisturizer feels a bit "tacky" to the touch after application - but then, within seconds your skin will absorb it completely. The result is soft, supple, well hydrated skin just waiting for primer and make up. This also has proven to be a great "lighter" night time moisturizer - my skin looks and feels soft in the morning. Best of all, it doesn't cause me to break out at all! This stuff has helped to balance my skin so well, I believe it's the reason my acne has significantly improved. A little goes a long way also. I will definitely be repurchasing this moisturizer again, no question!
