Quick Take: soft bristles, synthetic hair
Great brush! I've had mine for three years now and it's still like brand new. Easy to wash, however, some foundation can build up at the base of the bristles. Excellent for applying flawless foundation.

I like this brush--I got it when I got some smashbox liquid foundation because it was recommended... but sometimes i find that i have streaks and need to just fix with my fingers.

I've had this brush for a few years and it is still in great shape. Use it mostly for applying concealer...brush has lasted through several washes and still remains soft to the touch. It was a great investment.

This is a really nice foundation brush. I have the Smashbox cream foundation, and it really gives it a really nice coverage. Much more so than using the mini brush that came with the compact.

It was nice not getting my fingers coated with foundation, but after a few uses, the bristles felt stiff and prickly.....actually hurt my skin, so I stopped using it. Just not for me, I guess.

Good brush but I've had better...

I used this brush before but it seems to take a while to get my whole face done. I found the Philosophy supernatural airbrush and that is by far the best foundation brush I have ever used in my life. It has so much density and holds the right amount of product with this soft, thick bristles. It literally takes me less than a minute to apply my favorite foundation on my whole face for a flawless look.
I use the Diorskin Nude in the sand shade. I tried to use this brush several times but it took me a while to do my whole face. I don't have that much time to do my make up as I have 2 kids who distract me. This brush application took too long for me. If you have more time than I do, it's an ideal brush. But I prefer the Philosophy brush, which is amazing!

This brush was good but I've used one that was better. The bristles were a bit too soft for me. For putting on liquid foundations, I find foundation brushes with slightly stiffer bristles to be better (like the one Dior makes). It just gives it a more flawless finish.

Until I met this wonderful brush, I had no idea what a difference a foundation brush can make. I had been using my fingers for the last 13 years. I had tried sponges but hated how the sponge soaked up all the foundation. Well, this last week I splurged and bought this brush and have been thoroughly impressed. I put liquid foundation on the back of my hand between my thumb and forefinger (I use it as a palette for my concealer too.) Then I dip the brush in, just a little at a time, and "paint" my face with my foundation. This leaves no streaks and really gives the best coverage I've ever had. I almost don't use concealer now because the brush seems to really get the foundation to cover all my imperfections. AND I use less foundation with this brush than when I was applying it with my fingers. I can't imagine applying foundation without a brush ever again.

I really love this brush. I was using the travel size before and it was too small, so bought a bigger one and wasn't disappointed at all. It applies the foundation really well and its easy to clean. Plush I love the red color of the handle. It makes putting makeup on fun in the morning.

Quick Take: soft bristles
I just bought this yesterday and I am obsessed with it! I previously used only my fingers to apply foundation...which I will never go back to, thanks to this brush. It applies liquid foundation smoothly and seamlessly. I feel like I get a good amount of coverage with less foundation than I used before. The bristles are extremely soft and packed well.
