My favorite palette

Quick Take: good value, travel size, easy to use
I owned this set for over a year. I had many complements while wearing it; so I decided to use it for my wedding anniversary celebration and the it looked great on my olive skin tone. I hide it from my daughters ages 19 & 24 because they always want to use it. it blends well, I use wet as a liner all the time.

Quick Take: blendable, highly pigmented, all day wear
very pretty colors that blend well.
Pros: very nice shades for contouring. makes for a beautiful smokey eye. can be used wet or dry. blends very well and nicely pigmented so a little bit of color goes a long way. glides on nicely and doesn't get a caked on look. i like the little bit of shimmer in it as it plays nicely with light.. i've had this since last year and i've barely put a dent in it. it also lasts all day. from time to time, i've added more color on to go out and it blended and added on well.
Cons: it could use a darker color, but i carry a small black shadow to blend with the dark colors in this palette for something more intense in the outer corners of my eyes..

I actually really like this, I have tons of palettes but this is one of my favs, it's great for travel too...and love the shades. It is a little shimmery though, but I like that.

I liked the colors when I saw them. When applied to my eyes the color became streaky and not attractive. Does not blend well. And does not last Long. Would send back but with shipping its not worth it. Very dissappointed. Don't waste your money. None of the colors look good on your eye.

This palette is so versatile and easy to use. I can wear a different look every night and every day. And my husband bizarrely adores it. So to I but he generally doesn't care about my makeup, has made a point of asking me to wear this particular palette. This is a definite go-to.

I love this collection. The colors are delicious!!!! I opened the package and was delighted. I love wearing each color! Generous size as well. Really girly...and that's a good thing! :o)

Quick Take: good value
I was a bit skeptical about ordering this sight unseen, as I often find that what is shown is not very true to life; however this was a pleasant surprise. The colors are very flattering on my medium tan skin which has heavy yellow undertones. I can certainly see how someone with fair skin my not find use for the lighter shades, but they all work together to make a very pretty look.

The eyeshadow colors here are GREAT. However, most of them are not good for day if you work in a professional environment - most of these shadows are so shimmery they're practically incandescent.

I msut admit that I was initially drawn to this palette because of the cute artwork on the cover, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the range of shades inside. However, when I tried the shades on at home, I was very disappointed that half of the shades (the four lighter ones) barely showed up on my fair skin. The darker four shades had much better color payoff, but I couldn't see keeping the palette when I could only utilize half of the shades.

Colors are richer on the palette

First let me say how much I loved the illustration on the cover. It is super adorable. Second, I really liked the color selection, the varying shades of brown with the pop of pink. However, the colors aren't as rich when applied. I understand that most eye shadows are like this, but this had some serious potential to be fierce and it fell a little short on vibrance. The pink is a pale, pale color. On my filipino tan, it looks almost white. The deepest brown is very nice, though.
