Quick Take: improves shaving, skin-softening
I got this for my husband for his birthday. He's a very non-high maintenance guy (a Marine) who doesn't ever ask for anything. So you better bet when his birthday came around I had no idea what to get him.
I figured I was tired of all that scruffiness on his face so wanted to get him a nice set. If your guy doesn't want all the other products such as moisturizer, cleanser etc. you should definitely look into this!
I first got the Jack Black essentials kit but realized he wouldn't use the other stuff.
When he opened this he was SOOOOOOOOOOO excited! He looks forward to every Sunday before church just so he can shave. He mentions it every other day. Hahah. Also, it makes his face so so baby butt smooth! So much better than water. I finally decided to write a review on Sephora just because he wouldn't stop talking about it!
So if you're a little skeptical about the price, JUST DO IT! These products last for awhile and very good quality. Men who appreciate a good shave will know Art of Shaving. Good luck! I hope your man loves it as much as mine! :)

Quick Take: worth every penny
I bought this set as an anniversary gift for my husband and he loves it. At first he wasn't so sure about it because it's pretty expensive. But after using it he says it's totally worth every penny. He used to get really bad ingrown hairs after shaving but he doesn't get them anymore after using this. He really likes everything that came in the set. He says the shaving cream in awesome. I love the way he smells after shaving. He now searches for other Art Of Shaving products.

Quick Take: fabulous!
My husband has tried every kind of shave accessory, cream, gel etc. that exists. So far, this is his favorite. I got a free deluxe sample from Sephora and he liked it so much, I decided to get him the shave kit for Christmas. He loves the shave cream and the brush......still on the fence about the other two items, but he said it was a really great value and by far the best shave cream there is. This really works well with the traditional double-edged razors. It's pricey, but worth the cost. What's a little bit of daily luxury?

I have a very thick beard, and have been shower shaving for years, I tried this shaving system after visiting the actual "The Art of Shaving" store with my lovely wife and said to myself, Wow have I been missing out! OK, it take an extra 3 minutes to shave, but no more Five O'clock shadow, its more like Ten AM the next day...
I now set my alarm for 3 minutes earlier! hehehe

This is the complete set for the man who knows what good skin should look and feel like. I have to admit, I was "off the shelf shave cream" type of guy, but then I discovered The Art of Shaving skin line. It includes everything that you need and leaves your skin looking and feeling great.
A must have for any shaver!
