This is an awesome set! The colors are very flattering- I especially like the peachy all over face color. The lip gloss didn't do it for me, but the rest of the set is more than worth it!

Great colors, perfect for summer.

I've been looking at the Bare Escentuals Wanderlust sets and finally decided on purchasing this one. I've used everything so far except the lipgloss, and was pleasantly surprised how well they work on my fair skin and blonde hair.
I love the eyeliner, it is a subtle purple, that looks great on and can go on lighter or darker. I also adore the primer and have used it alone with mascara multiple times. The purple shadow goes on smoothly and can also be adjusted to be darker or lighter.
I also found the directions fairly simple to follow to achieve the suggested look. Overall I am really pleased with everything in the kit and look forward to my next beach vacation and bringing just this kit along with mascara and powder.

As I tried the individual pieces of this kit, I wasn't sure about the colors. But as I combined them all, they tie together nicely. I've gotta admit, this is kind of girlier than what I'm used to wearing as it's pink and purple. It passed the man-test though and he said I didn't look like I'd just played with a box of crayons, so even though it's bold, it can still be beautiful.
Coral Reef primer shadow: Love the primer shadows. Don't let the coral in the name scare you off. I didn't find it to be coral at all. Went on me as more of a champagne shade with some gold to it. Seems they always put the prettiest primer shadow colors in kits. Too bad as I would buy this one separately.
Wild Orchid eyecolor: A pretty purple. Just need a light dusting of it for the crease color. In the pot it looks like it'll go on a super-bright teeny-bop purple, but it doesn't. If you wanted to up the intensity, you could try it foiled and it would still look beautiful.
6pm eyeliner: A nice deep, purple shade best described as eggplant, but like the eyeshadow, not an overly bright or electric purple. Any age could wear this. I really like the color and it looks amazing with the Coral Reef shadow, but I am not a fan of the new round the clock liners in general. They are creamy, but it's hard to get a thin, even line with them and they set incredibly quickly, so fix any mess-ups right away. I miss the Big & Bright style eyeliners.
Faux-Tan Face Color: Tried this before and wasn't crazy about the color. Tried it again with this kit and it's ok. Like the name says, looks like a tan. I don't know how to use bronzers and recently came across someone talking about the "3" in a review. So I made the three with this and it looked ok. (You dust in on by creating a 3 on the edge of your face, starting at your forehead, then out and down to your cheeks, then out and down toward your mouth.)
Tropical Radiance: Love the radiances and how they go on more lightly than a lot of the blushes. This color was subtle and it's easy to build up if you need a darker color. Great for a soft, rosy glow.
Lipgloss in Pink Guava: This is a bright and vivid pink, a true fuchsia. Definitely not for everyone, so some may want to brush the Pink Guava color over it or sub their other fave pink or nude lipgloss.
Lipgloss in Papaya Smoothie: A nude and barely there frosty color with a hint of peach. Good for toning down the Pink Guava shade or just on its own.
The bag is really cute and has an exterior that's easy to clean. Most of the products in this are full-size or close to it, so you get more bang for your buck in this kit than some of the others. These are colors that would definitely show up on medium and darker skin tones. As these are bold summer colors, it's suitable for them to work best with a summer tan anyway.

Red heads beware

Clearly I have red hair and fair skin. I wanted this product to work so badly. I love Bare Escentuals. Their products always deliver quality. As a whole though as is I can't wear all of them. The Primer Shadow in Coral Reef is meant to be worn as an eyeshadow. This color just doesn't look good on my skin tone. I probably should have known better there. I also can't figure out how exactly to sharpen the eyeliner or if it even sharpens. The color is pretty, but I never use it. The lip gloss is also sticker than I prefer, but the colors are pretty. Radiance as a product is amazing, however the tropical didn't work with my skin either. If I wore a different base shadow and highlighter shadow it would work. That's not why I bought this. I bought it to have an easy go to summer set.
Overall it's okay. I love the bag (I'm really into prints), the Wild Orchid eyecolor is beautiful and the faux tan is an amazing brozer for my skin tone. The rest of the products however go unused.
If you have fair skin, I obviously don't recommend it. If you have medium or olive skin I think this would be beautiful. The quality of the products is wonderful. I just misjudged the colors.

Quick Take: great value, qualitt products, wearable colors
I love bare minerals products and this collection is a great little kit. The primer shadow helps eye shadow stay on long into the night while also adding a light shimmer. I love deep purple eyeliner since it really helps my green eyes pop. I have actually been using the tropical radiance face color as eyeshadow and I must say I love it, it has quickly become my go to eyeshadow shade. Mixing the purple shadow and the tropical radiance makes for a nice dramatic look. The faux tan all over face color is great! I use it and the warmth (also by bare minerals) to help give my skin a nice glowing effect. As for the lip gloss it adds a nice sheen but honestly I prefer lip stains over lip gloss.

I've been in the market for a purple eyeshadow, but everything I found looked like I should be on my way to a night club. Till now. Its bold yet subtle. I love love love the eyeliner. It glides on effortlessly. Great buy!

I really like buying these sets from bare minerals: they offer colors that are exclusive to the set and they are an amazing value. The colors are great for summer and they are tropical, plus the purple eye shadow really compliments my eye color. I like the colored primer, it gives a subtle color and keeps the other eyeshadow in place. I don't really care for the lipgloss. I found it sticky and the colors were some that I wouldn't wear. However the value made the unusable lipgloss acceptable. I recommend this set for anyone who LOVES BE!!

Bare minerals has done it again!! It's perfect for the summer because it gives a tropical glow that makes you look sun kissed. I use the primer as an eyeshadow, sweep the crease with the purple, then put a little stardust on the inner part of the lid. Te eyeliner goes on really smooth and stays on all day. Love love love!

I love all of the colors and have used them daily. I hope they get included in Bare Essentials regular line or maybe just carry them during spring/summer but I'm considering purchasing another kit.
The eye shadow plus primer is great alone for a very casual look or add the peach shadow for a more dressy eye for work or add the purple accent for a great nighttime look. Love the lip gloss and lip pencil

I'm a long-time BE fan, especially of their kits because they offer great value and variety. The Wanderlust Tropics kit is amazing. I've only had it for a few weeks, but I've work it repeatedly. It's my new go-to look, so quick and easy! The colors are fantastic. The primer is an apricot color similar to one of their other primers (Sundance). The shadow is a bright purple that blends well, like any BE eyeshadow. Their new eyeliner formulation is wonderful - it glides on more smoothly than the Big and Bright liners. The 6PM color in this kit is a vivid dark purple I will use all the time. The pink end of the lip gloss is bright and slightly opaque, so it's a very noticeable and bold color but very chic. And of course the bag is adorable and useful. Love it all and definitely recommend. Thanks, BE!

Love this one! Especially the eyeliner - great color and waterproof. The purple eye shadow is very nice - doesn't give you the bruised appearance that purple sometimes can. I feel the eye primer is just not the right color for me to wear alone - but it works gret as a primer! The face colors are very nice also - just what you would expect from BE. Very rety functional bag.

I love the colors in the kit. I have fair to medium toned skin, dark hair & brown eyes. I received compliments the very first day I wore the colors from this kit. The color of the eye primer is a very pretty coral/peachy gold and looks beautiful under lots of different eye shadows. Very glad I got this kit!

This is a really beautiful collection. The bag is a decent size and holds all the products and even a few more. The outside is also plastic so it's easy to clean.
Prime Time Shadow Primer in Coral Reef is a sheer goldish-yellow color. I had to put it on 2x to get it to show up. It's a little sticky but goes on smoothly. Wild Orchid eye color is a beautiful purple. It's pretty pigmented and I didn't have to use a lot to get it to show. Round The Clock Waterproof Eyeliner in 6pm is also a favorite of mine. These eyeliners are super creamy and the colors are gorgeous! You can really tell this is purple and not black.
I have Tropical Radiance in full-size and love it. It gives just a little bit of coral color and pairs well with Faux Tan Matte or any other bronzer that has no shimmer.
Overall, this was a great buy! Nice make up for eyes and cheeks. I haven't tried the gloss yet because I'm not a gloss girl at all, I may just give it away.

I was disapointed that this kit just didn't work for me. I do use BE cosmetics and I normally like them but maybe this isn't for my coloring. The eye shadow made me look like I got punched in the eye, the creme base was hard to apply evenly, and I hate how think and gluey the gloss was. My first return from Sephora.
