Bone dry!

Was excited to try this out, was looking for something that was easy to apply. Attempted to glide across the eyelids and there was no gliding, just a lot of pulling. In fact, not sure I even got any product on my eyelids it was so dry. Returned it to my local Sephora store. They said they had received many of these also returned for the same difficulty I had with it, just too dry. Also, several complaints about busted tips.

I LOVE this eye primer. It really helps hold the color to my eyes all day long and doesnt make it all creasy and nasty byt the end of the night.

Quick Take: color correcting, crease resistant
I've gone through 4 different kinds of eye primer, and this may be my favorite. I don't like to smear things on my eyelids like creamy/liquid primers because a) I'm weird and don't like getting it all over my fingers and b) you have to wait for it to dry. With this stick, it goes on even, absolutely sheer, and without any mess. It also evens out my skin tone and decreases the shine on my eyelids. I love it!

one of the assocites totally sold me on this primer as
I absolutely love buxom products. You do not need to smudge on with your finger or brush like most primers and you do not need a lot. Eye color really pops with this primer but the stick broke off of its base after the fourth use and there is not very much within the tube. Was worth paying twenty dollars but probably only once unles they change the packaging.

This eye primer goes on smooth and evenly. It blends with my skin and holds my makeup in place. It is great for bright colors and big impact. The only downside would be it makes the base color harder to blend.

I read several reviews that stating the product is hard. I did not find the stick to be hard at all. I guess to each its own. The product is great and extremely easy to use. Most importantly, it is not messy! I love the product.

As a primer it's good. Helps eyeshadow last and stay true. But I feel like I have to drag it across my eyelids to get it to go on. The application isn't smooth. Too bad, I would love it otherwise.

I was using Stila eye primer but it had a color to it which conflicted with my eye shadow. I tried Buxom. Not only does it not have a color, it glides on effortlessly.

Quick Take: convenient but pulls on the lid too much
There's aspects of this primer that I love and unfortunately, hate. We probably can't argue that primer in a stick is pretty genius however, the main problem is the primer isn't easy to apply because it tugs on the eye lid. I find it much too rough for such a delicate area. If Buxom developed a slightly creamier formula this would probably be the best primer ever.

total fail - maybe temperature sensitive?

Quick Take: hard
I tried this in the Sephora store, and while it was December in MA, the store temperature was very warm. It glided across my skin perfectly so I was very excited to get it home and try it. Not only was it hard as a rock and would not spread at all, it broke off in the tube. I returned it and wonder if it needs to be used at warmer temperatures. My house is about 62 degrees.

Quick Take: not good for dry delicate skin
I bought this because I thought it would be easy to apply, but unfortunately it isn't--it's very dry and hard, and tugs and drags on delicate dry eyelids. i tried applying with a brush but no luck; same with fingertip. Very disappointed because i like so many of the Buxom products!

I have oily lids, and this really prevents my shadow from creasing. I've tried all the other popular liquid primers out there with no success. An associate at my Sephora recommended this for my oily lids and I haven't looked back! I have had this for a couple of months and I still have a ton left in my tube and it still works as well as when I purchased it. I definitely recommend this product!

The entire stick came out of the pencil but it didn't matter since this primer doesn't work at all. My shadow creased and my eyes were gooey in less than 2 hrs.! Terrible. Normally use BE reg. primer but thought I would give this a shot. Sent it right back

I bought this primer after reading all the great reviews and I'm so happy I did! I had been using the traditional BE primer for years, but was less than enthused about the product. This primer goes on easily. I just swipe the broad pencil across my lids a few times and I'm good to go. And, the product itself is lasting a long time. I bought it in August, and have yet to twist it up to replenish what was used. As for staying power...I work 12 hour shifts at work and definitely need something to keep my makeup in place all day long. This does the trick. I would even feel fine going out after work because my eye makeup doesn't move a bit all day long. This is now a staple in my makeup bag!

This is my NEW HG product seriously! It is a primer in a stick form with a cream, but matte consistency. Great for my deep skin tone, which I could wear aloneif desired. It's perfect, I love the color. It is a nudey beigey like color that dissolves rt into your skin tone! I feel like this will be a repurchase for me:)
