I use this as a daily moisturizer and I absolutely love it! I have combination skin so I don't need anything too heavy. Gives my skin a great glow. Very hydrating.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I have been trying to find a really good moisturizing serum that doesn't leave a greasy or sticky residue and I finally found it Dior's Hydralife Youth Essential Concentrated Sorbet Essence. I have to try the rest of the line now as this product has blown me away.

Not very effective for my dry skin

My skin has been badly affected by this winter season, being so dry that nothing seemed to help. An SA recommended this along with another Dior product and I blindly just followed her advice. This serum alone did nothing to quench my skin. After about 10 minutes, my skin felt as dry as before. The other Dior cream I purchased did a better job of moisturizing. This may be good for people who are looking for a light moisturizer. I will not be getting this product again!

Miss the old formula

Quick Take: it's okay
I loved formula "Hydra Life Pro-Youth Hydrating Serum". I was about to get another bottle when much to my surprise, I was told it was replaced with this product. Ok fine, why not give it a try. Although, I wish companies would tell you this in advance, just in case you need to stock up. Anyway, I got a sample from my local store. Thank goodness, cause some price tags are hard to swallow. Yeah, the new formula is okay, but I still had some left of the old and it felt better on my skin. New formula absorbs in what feels like seconds, the old takes a few but it feels like my face is taking a slow drink. You know, like it's quenching it's thirst. It feels awesome. The texture of my skin with the new is ok, the old formula my skin looks a bit more supple and radiant.
Loved the old formula so much that I did a mad search online to find it. Yes, it can be found, but don't be astonished by what people want you to pay. Nonetheless, I found it at a reasonable price.
For now I'll use the old, but may have to transition into the new. Of course by then even the new might be replaced...LOL!
One thing Dior did was put this product in an translucent bottle. Thank goodness, cause although the silver blue tint they use is pretty, you can't see when your product is getting low. Gasp!

Quick Take: hydrating
This winter has been very rude to my skin, especially since I had the heater all night long. The moisturizers were not doing the job anymore. I bought they hydralife and apply 2 drops every morning it's made a world of difference. It's a bit pricey but when it comes to your face... nothing else matters.

I originally bought this because the girl at the Dior counter put this on my face and it just felt so great. At first I passed, but after I went home I realized I just loved how it made my skin feel so much that I went back and got it. I dont use it as my main moisturizer although Im sure you can. I use it during the drying winter months and it just leaves your skin feeling so hydrating. If you have the money to pay for a pricey moisturizer, this is worth it.

This is my first time to try Dior Hydra life products, and all I can said is “WOW”! I have been using it almost whole month, and it really hydrates my dry combination skin ( only my nose is oily ) without any oily feeling at all. I put one pump for whole face before the eye cream and moisturizer, and pat another half pump around my eye after the eye cream. It not only hydrates my skin but also smoothes my skin around eyes, too. My skin feels soft and healthier, and some fine lines around eyes is not that visible as before. It’s amazing. I know everyone has different skin type, but it really works with my skin. I love it a lot!! I will keep using it and will try their sorbet eye creme next time, too.

Had a sample that made a big difference in my skin in just a couple of days! Skin was more dewey but not oily, and fine lines were diminished right away. I use it twice a day under my moisturizer. A little seems to go a long way which is nice considering the bottle is a little smaller than anticipated. I can see myself using this for a long time!

If you're looking for a light serum to go beneath your cream/lotion/moisturizer of your choice, this will work perfectly. I like using serums before my moisturizer and this makes my skin feels so amazing. Do not hesitate to get this! It's wonderful! Even with my extremely sensitive skin, this makes my skin smooth and cool.

I try a lot of products... I give them long trial runs b4 moving on... I've been thrilled with minimal results time after time and Hydralife is what made me realize that. This essence is amazing... I can't say enough about it! The "11" on my forehead is nearly gone after only a few days use, my skin glows and looks more even toned, and my skin is very soft and plump. I look 10 years younger. Pat it in to your skin and follow with a moisturizer... you will be pleased and thrilled with the results!

Dior products are crucial in my beauty regimen. The serum is light and moisturizing without any trace of oil. One pump, sometimes less, is all you need to cover the entire face. I like to apply a bit thicker layer at night under my night cream. If you're hesitating a little over the price, take the plunge. You will not regret it. Splurging a little more on taking care of your skin will require you to spend less $$ on make up to cover up imperfections. (at least I justify it this way! haha)

Tried a sample of this stuff and I'm really impressed. Immediately after using, I felt my skin firm up but it wasn't dry or tight like some other products. It really brightened my skin after just a couple of days. Also, worked very well under makeup, creating a smooth canvas for my tinted moisturizer. Great product!

I tried a sample I got and it's awesome. I have combination to oily skin, but since I am at my late 20's, my skin seems gradually losing elasticity and somehow getting dull. So last night i put on this serum after I washed my face and waited about 5 minutes and put on another layer of oil free moisturizer. This morning after I woke up, my face isn't oily or anyting, and my face looks glowing and firm. So I am definitely going to buy it and keep using it. DIor is just awesome!!

I purchased this based on the description on the sephora website and love it! It makes my skin feel soft and helps with wrinkles- I am in Florida and skin dries out easily - not with this ! Use under sunscreen and at night. Not oily or greasy- absorbs quickly and leaves behind soft skin.
