Not as Lightweight As i Would Like, Still Too Oily

Quick Take: greasy, not lightweight, oily on my face
I have oily skin that is break-out prone. My entire life I couldn't understand why I had to deal with the tradeoff between sun protection and breakouts. Sunscreens have gotten better, but I think 98% of them still make you break out and leave your face greasy. I was hoping that "Sheer Liquid" in the title of this product was for real, but this product makes my face sticky and greasy too. The texture of the product is a borderline-creamy lotion. I want a liquid (I think Kiehl's & LaRoche Posay make seriously liquid, and by that I mean almost watery, sunscreens, which is what I need to go and get.) I hate the way my face feels with this on and it instantly makes my face shiny and oily looking. I am sure if your face is not oily, you would like this product very much. I hate it.

Is applied very easily to skin. Leaves no residue and feel I'm getting good protection from damaging sun rays to my face. I like the compact size for carrying with you and you don't have to use that much to distribute all over face/neck area.
Peter T Roth makes many exceptionally good products but of course not all are worthy of 5 stars. Do your research

Perfect anti-aging protection for hands

Purchased this on sale; I like having a convenient tube of a high SPF at my work desk to appy to my hands. Most hand creams with SPF are only SPF 15. I don't use this as my hand moisturizer, but an effective target area protection. Product is non-greasy. Dispenses with a pump. I also apply some product to a foundation brush and apply to the decolletage. Hey, I'm 51-years young and an anti-aging product that works on hands the decolletage is a no-brainer :)

This sunscreen is awesome! I just love the way it feels on my face after putting it on. It is not greasy and it doesn't leave a cakey texture. I feel like I just have regular mositurer on when I use it. Also, I'm prone to acne breakouts but this doesn't do that. Great product!

This sunscreen was recommended by one of the representatives at Sephora when I looked for a not-too-expensive sun block/screen. I tend to get small bumps if a sunscreen is over SPF 30. I bought it anyway as it seems light-weight and Sephora has its world's best (in my opinion) return policy that the products can be returned and exchanged even without the receipts and they don't even ask you why. After a week of application every morning, it is good so far. My face still looks o.k. I mixed it with my Benefit's moisturizer all over my face and neck. I also put it on my hands to protect them while driving. It is very light-weight and I don't even feel that I put on sunscreen. The push-pump style tube is also very convenient. I think I will buy it again.

I bought this after it went on sale for half off. This does NOT irritate my sensitive, oily skin. It doesn't feel the least bit heavy. And the best part is you don't smell that sunscreen smell on your face all day. Buy it!

I have tried them all & I'm a breast-cancer survivor..so I watch everything that goes on my skin!! This is positively the BEST SUNSCREEN..it goes into the skin (doesn't sit on top)..does not leave you with a "white" face...my makeup looks wonderful over it...am SO grateful for the fabulous salesperson who introduced me to this product-for-life!!!!.

I haven't used this for very long. Also, I haven't had much sun exposure lately. But, as far as trying a light-weight sunscreen it seems to do well. I feel as though it is more of a sunscreen than a moisturizer with sunscreen, but it feels alright on my skin and I expect to use it plenty in the coming summer months.

I will definitely be buying more of this product. I live Phoenix, so sunscreen is extremely important to me! I've tried tons of brands and am really picky about the ingredients as well as the way it absorbs and feels on my skin. I couldn't even tell I had sunscreen on my face with this on. I highly recommend!

Lightweight Sunscreen Lotion!

I always wanted to try this, and I got it when it's on sale for only $26!! Great deal. Since my purchase is a steal, I can't expect too much. It is lightweight sunscreen lotion, exactly what it claims. I am not sure if it's moisturizing though. I like the feel. As long as you are not paying $50 for it, I think it's worth a try. Good luck!

I purchased this sunscreen for a cruise to the eastern Caribbean islands and it met my expectations and more! I have very sensitive, dry skin that gets red and blotchy easily but this sunscreen didn't irritate my skin at all! It is very light and feels like you aren't wearing anything. There's a very slight fragrance that didn't bother me at all since most everything I use is fragrance free usually. Consistency is on the watery side which made it easier for me to apply. Love that it is made without parabens or sulfates as well. really everything i was looking for. I will def. purchase again in the future!

I would give it a 5 star but my mom could not use it at all cause she said it "sting" when she puts it on. So I guess this is better for younger skin 30-40. If you have more mature and sensitive skin in the 60's I would use with caution. otherwise its a great product. I have oily T-zone and normal skin elsewhere. This was a perfect combination for my face and neck and does a great job with protecting my sensitive skin from the sun

I have combination skin and have been looking for a good mosturizer with sunscreen for ages until now. I tend to be sensitive to something in the sunscreen ingredients, but this one works for me. It's very light weight, non-greasy, blends easily. It's oil free and fragrant free, so it's good for oily and sensitive skin. Love it and would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a light weight moisturizer w/sunscreen and anti-aging benefits.

This sunscreen is definitely my new "can't do without" product. Before purchasing this sunscreen, I was using a sunscreen from La Roche Posay... I thought there wouldn't/couldn't be any another sunscreen that was better until I found this sunscreen from Peter Thomas Roth! The things I love most about this sunscreen are that it's oil free, extremely sheer, and very minimal shine. There's absolutely no feeling of something just "sitting" on your face. I love it. It's worth every penny!

This is a very expense sunscreen and I'm not convinced you can't get the same product for much less.
Texture is good and it doesn't leave my face feeling greasy or tacky and wears well throughout the day.
Works fine with makeup too.
Nothing extra special to warrant the hefty price, however

I love Peter Thomas Roth, but I am somewhat disappointed with this product. It went on easily and there's no white residue, but it's really shiny, feels slick on my skin and my face has been burning on-and-off since I put it on for the first time about an hour ago. I would definitely recommend putting a moisturizer under it, like you have to do for PTR's SPF 30 sunblock.
