Love the Ellis Faas pen clips to hold all my makeup pens together. Yes, they look metal in the pic but they're actually plastic but I really do not mind, metal clips would probably scratch the makeup pens anyway.

Wish they were metal

I love Ellis Faas. She's my new favorite make-up designer, and part of the reason is the sexy packaging of her make-ups and the neo-spaceage holders (there's probably a better word for it).
Anyway, I was really excited about these clips after seeing them online. They look like brushed metal, right? Nope, they're plastic. I was disappointed. However, upon first glance they look metal, but perhaps if the paint chipped there'd be plastic showing through. Other than that, it's a great clip and I still love it, just wish it was made clear it wasn't metal (since it definitely is made to look metallic).
Also, an Ellis Faas tip: all of her metal-looking stuff is plastic. It's great for carrying around (a lot more light-weight than metal)! But I do worry about what it'll look like if it's gets scratched or chipped. I sure do wish they were actually metal. They do have a very artistic and convincing metal coating. You only know it's not metal by touching it (it's not cold, and it's too lightweight).
