Best mineral sunscreen for my lips
-05.19.13
Quick Take: non-greasy
I've had allergic reactions to products on or near my lips for two years. Every product has failed and caused me pain. This goes on slightly white but you can blend in. It is all I can use to protect my lips. The mineral protection is awesome. Has saved my lips for summer. So happy I found this and will stock up.

Wouldn't buy again.

Quick Take: non-greasy, sticky, pricey, artificially scented, difficult to apply/spread
My main complaint about this product is that it doesn't spread easily (although, per the last review, apparently it will spread a little too well if exposed to heat!), even by sunscreen stick standards. Oiliness is average - works fine with my eye makeup - but it is a bit sticky. It smells like cotton candy - not my favorite, but not strong enough to grate on my nerves. And it does not streak. But I would say that, for what it is (a difficult-to-apply stick that yields a less-than-pleasant wearing experience), it's a little pricey.

RIght Idea
-07.29.12
Quick Take: likely to melt, easy to transport, easy to use
I love keeping a sunscreen stick in my gym bag and then transfer it to the beach bag for beach weeks during the summer and other times of the year. But the Clarins is a melty mess when left in the sun for any amount of time and does not reshape itself when moved to a cooler place. I have gone back to the Clinique sun stick and I do recommend keeping it in the cooler if you bring one to the beach. The Clarins is protective, but not when it's soup.
