Great Setting Powder!

Quick Take: sheer coverage
This is a really great setting powder! Doesn't look chalky, great for all skin tones, finely milled and doesn't get cakey. I gave it 4 stars because I prefer pressed powder and like to apply my powder with a sponge or puff instead of a brush... but in this case I've made an exception. This gives matte finish, and is good for all skin types.

I love this stuff. It really helps with my redness. But for the cost I just don't know if I can buy again. Less than a month of use maybe 3 times a week and I am out already.

Quick Take: sheer coverage, reduces shine, not for major color correction, can be used alone if nothing else needed
I use this after my powder foundation. Then, I apply my blush or bronzed powder & finally white translucent setting powder. I only use powder products so not to clog my pores but I don't recommend this as a finishing powder, it's a step in the process & it only works for mild color correction.

Quick Take: reduces shine, sheer coverage, color correcting
Actual product works great, however, using it with a fuller cover foundation as an actual setting powder causes the skin to look really washed out (the foundation already corrected the color, so you're left with a grayish translucent setting on top.)
Because of this, I've taken to using this as an everyday replacement for foundation. I've still gotta use concealer but this stuff works /wonders/ as a replacement to lighter foundations.
There's no hint of any of the color popping through most of the time, however there are times where I've noticed a little greenish hue in places - making sure the 3 powder colors are mixed together a little before applying usually fixes this.
The packaging put me off at first, but I've gotten used to it. My only complaint is that the actual powder in my compact is shifted all the way up, not directly in the middle, so I get way more green powder than any other shade. I tried popping off the sifter (it removes fairly easily - however a little messy! Some of the powder grinded falls back to the bottom and pops up upon opening) and moving the powder disc into a move even position - no dice.
Overall, despite my nitpicking, pretty great buy!

Someonoe in the Sephora store introduced me to this product and I ll ove it. I partic. like the way you turn the cover and just some powder comes up. It is great gor traveling and I love the way it has correct color powders in it.

Quick Take: amazing, true to it's word, great value
apparently i lost my mind and stopped wearing foundation for awhile. when i started wearing it again, setting powder was suggested at sephora. i didn't love it so i went in and asked aout the set & correct. i was amazed how flawless by scarred and large pored face looked after putting it over my light/med coverage foundation. it's not cakey, it does what it says. corrected my red and shimmered in the right places. i've never thought my skin looked fantastic, but i do now!

Quick Take: strange, should come with a manual
I had to try this funky combo compact... Understanding how color works in general from a design standpoint, I thought the green and blue would counteract the redness or sallow coloring I may occasionally have. Instead I feel like I am ready for the Wizard of OZ..

I really enjoy this product - I feel that it really does even out my skin and the coverage on it is sheer/light plus it doesn't build up on my skin. It isn't a travel friendly compact though, but I can easily grind it and put it into a different container when I need to take it somewhere.

I never was a fan of loose powders because I hate the amount of mess they create in the bathroom. But this clever package is so ingenious! (Unfortunetely, other reviewers say that it stops working after time). Let me say the colour-correcting features of this powder are really a wonder. I've tried it with foundations both too dark and yellow and too light and grey (Asian BB creams), and it really works, although I can't imagine how. And this is the first powder that really matiifies my combination skin. After several hours I blot with a blotting paper bacause I'm used to, but I see almost no oil on it. the powder gives medium coverage, I wouldn't call it sheer. And the box is really huge — I expected it to be a common compact powder, but it turned out to be three times as thick. Overall impression — highly recommend!

Love this stuff! My skin has a lot of red in it normally. Use this with the correctors primer and get a lovely even skin tone! Lasts a couple months and just use a little everyday.

i wear this over the illuminating bb cream or by itself. it goes on smooth and lasts all day. i have slight rosacea and this covers it well without looking cakey. great line of products stila has right now, love it!

Love this product. I tend to have a red nose (not roseaca or anything, just a red nose). The Stila "perfect and correct" foundation is great, and this powder sets it well, and keeps the color fresh.
BUT ... like a few other reviews - the packaging sucks! Love the idea of a shaver - product isn't exposed to air, you use just what you want, etc. But after just 2 months (I don't wear makeup every day), the shaver couldn't produce any more powder. Followed others' advice, and removed the shaver top. Viola! Tons of powder still available. But swishing a (fluffy) brush over the top just doesn't give the same result. Too bad they can't figure a way to use a great idea without wasting half the product.
Will probably use the product again, but wish they would improve the packaging. OR is there is a similar product put together better, I'm there!

I had been looking for a setting powder that would not give that horrible white face look with flash. I just started doing YT vids and noticed that horrendous look in picture. I cannot have that.
I am not sure about its corrective properties. But it's working for me so I like it.

I thought this would be a cool powder to try out. My skin has been uneven and a little dull since I went through cancer treatment a couple of years ago. Even on a no-makeup day this goes on very lightly and helps to even out my skin. Does a wonderful job with foundation! The texture is light and feels almost creamy. I'm really happy I tried this out! I also bought the luminizing powder as well. The two together give me a healthy glow without too much sparkle.

Love how perfect this powder is at everything:

It is like a Guerlain Meteorites with out all the cost (and the lovely violet fragrance). Glad I could use this every day without feeling bad.
Tip: if you have a foundation too yellowish, or too peach or too whatever this powder will correct it. Amazing!
