Quick Take: strengthening, doesn't weigh hair down
I had been curious about Wen for some time, however, I wasn't sure my very fine highlighted blonde hair would be able to handle it without looking greasy. I was so wrong! This stuff makes your hair silky smooth without weighing it down.It gives my usually limp hair tons of volume. My only complaint is that I can see myself going through a bottle of this every 2-3 weeks as I need to wash my hair every day.

I have been using this for several months and I love the way my hair looks and feels. I have shorter hair (just above shoulders) so I don't have to use that much and I color it and it seems to keep my color better but the SHINE!! Oh the shine!! Love it!!

Save your money, not worth it!

I did not like this product at all. Some people love it and I guess it works great on their hair type. I have thin, curly, soft hair. It made my hair greasy, so I had to wash it every day instead of every other day which I normally did. It made my hair too soft, so I lost the natural spiral curl I normally have. It definitely doesn't reduce frizz, it made it worse. Save your money and try something else.

I really wanted to love this product. My hair texture and type is very unique. I have fine hair, but a lot of it. It's naturally very kinky curly that could be taken for ethnic hair. I have tried for years to embrace my natural hair texture, but end up just straightening it. My hair is long though, to my mid back, and the damage from straightening it was evident.
Anyway, I bought this, followed the instructions, and my hair looked AWFUL. I didn't even stop at one try, not even 4. Each time I used it, I tried a slightly different amount (like others have said, over 10 sometimes 15 pumps) for my hair length and texture and EACH time, I looked like I had put oil in my hair, and not in a good way. I'm the type that can get away with washing my hair no more than twice a week, and this product does NOT contribute to that.
Anyway, I bought this, followed the instructions, and my hair looked AWFUL. I didn't even stop at one try, not even 4. Each time I used it, I tried a slightly different amount (like others have said, over 10 sometimes 15 pumps) for my hair length and texture and EACH time, I looked like I had put oil in my hair, and not in a good way. I was very disappointed. I would have returned but I have a friend who LOVES it and I just gave it to her. I'd say this product works for AVERAGE hair, medium length. Anyone with texture to their hair should be wary.

It took me a while to order this. I was really skeptical of it having seen the TV commercials and reading all of the reviews. It seemed that everybody either loved it or hated it. I love it! I don't know if it just works for me or other people are using it differently, but I noticed an amazing difference after the first use. I have very dry, fine hair that is constantly tangled up! Most of the time I would spend 5 minutes brushing the tangles out of my hair even after conditioning. I felt like I was always ripping my hair out! Wen got rid of all that. And honestly I didn't even follow the directions exactly. I love this stuff. It is pricey, yes, but I think it's worth it.

Quick Take: rich, will weigh down fine hair i imagine
i like this product - a lot. today's shampoos are just too harsh, and this is comforting to my hair (average coarse hair). like the review below, i agree that:
1. it will slow your morning shower routine
2. you have to use too much of it to get the effect
3. as a shampoo and conditioner all-in-one, i don't think it saves you $$$
i like this scent best. the others are truly nauseating.

I have seen this on tv for years and in the back of my mind had always wanted to try it. Ordered this and wish I had done so sooner. Time saver and made my hair feel amazing. When this one runs out I want to try the other scents.

I bought this after being totally hypnotized by the infomercial. I love Wen the first time you use it, but here is what I don't love:
1. You have to use a lot of this product, the instructions tell you to use like 10 pumps
2. My hair ended up feeling greasy after 1 day of no wash, and I usually like to skip washing my hair every day to keep it from drying out. If you are into washing your hair each day then this might bot be so bad.
3. I didnt like the texture or the way my hair felt. It didnt feel clean when i used it.
4. I am a fast shower taker and Wen really slowed me down, your suppose to get your hair wet, add x amounts of pumps to your hair, wet your hair again for the "shampoo feel" let it sit then comb through it, and possibly repeat.
5. I did not like the styling products, the didn't hold very well in super straight hair.
I would say this, if you want to try the product get it at sephora, NOT online, it is really hard to cancel when you order it.

I love Wen. I've been using it for almost 3 years and love the results. You have to make sure to use it properly though otherwise your hair won't get properly/thoroughly clean nor conditioned. You have to use the full amount of pumps for your hair length (NEVER skimp!) and cleanse 2x (split the total # of pumps in half and use the first half for your first cleanse and the second half for your second cleanse. the first cleanse cleans your hair, the second cleanse conditions your hair). the most common newbie mistake is not using enough cleansing conditioner which can result in your hair feeling/looking dirty/oily, so using enough is extremely important (just remember that you have to use enough that your hair feels nice and creamy, not just barely covered). another important thing is to thoroughly rinse before and after each cleanse to fully rinse the Wen out. another tip is to after cleansing add 1 pump back in as a leave in conditioner (pea size for short hair, dime size for medium length, nickel size long length. also make sure to use the styling creme as it protects hair from heat damage as well as environmental damage (using heat - ie. blow dryers, curling/flat iron - without using styling creme undoes all the good Wen does if you're not protecting your hair). i would also strongly recommend using the Remoist at least once a week to help keep your hair healthy.

This cleansing conditioner is hands-down the best shampoo/conditioner I've ever used. I have long thicker wavy hair (like mid back) that I quickly blow dry and flat iron or curl daily. THIS STUFF CHANGED MY WHOLE HAIR ROUTINE! I can actually let my hair air dry now with almost none of that ugly frizz and if I do blow dry I only need a flat iron for my bangs. PLUS, if I have to, I can actually tolerate not washing my hair for a day or two because I feel like it keeps my hair a little fresher and less oily than it was when I was using standard shampoo. My hair still curls well. I actually like how it looks curled better now, its more natural looking, less fried. Damaged hair tends to heat style better because its so dry. My hair has never looked better. I don't color my hair and I see that my natural brunette is more vibrant and healthy. It makes maintaining long hair so easy. My mom has VERY fine hair and she loves this product too. TIP: you really should take your time when you're washing and rinsing your hair with Wen. Since it doesn't lather you've really got to make sure you're working the product into all of your hair down to the scalp. And you've really got to rinse your hair out really well or it will end up greasy. I think people who don't have good results aren't using this product correctly or aren't using the correct formula for their hair type.

I am using this conditioner for almost a year and there is nothing else like it :) I have short thin hair and my hair looks fuller and has a shine to it. Also am saving on hair color.

i've tried this product and always come back to it. My hair is curly, and full. I always have a hard time finding products that help with frizz and dry hair and this does exactly what it says it will!! reduce frizz and moisturize. I don't give it five stars because I feel like I need a good shampoo once a week or else it feels heavy.

I work out a lot and wanted something a little less stressful than using shampoo all the time but, a step up from just rinsing. I really like this product. My hair feels very soft and the color seems to last. The only complaint other than the $$ is that my hair (fine but I have a lot of it) doesn't seem to hold a curl or wave like it used to. It seems to have a mind of its own... but it looks healthy, full and shiney... not weighed down either! The scent is okay... it doesn't linger in your hair and rinses clean. I do not use 10 - 15 pumps... more like 7 (a little past shoulder length hair)and seems to to a good job. I think 10 - 15 pumps would be better suited for long hair or very course, thick hair. Overall, it takes a bit to get used to no massive amounts of bubbles but, I do like it and will probably buy again.

I've been using Wen for two years now, and my hair has never looked or felt better. This is a GREAT product! However, it is pricey so I have the following suggestion. DO NOT use the 12 to 15 pumps that the directions tell you to use. You don't need that much! 5 pumps is perfect for medium length hair. You can get much more for your dollar if you cut back on each application.

love this as a shampoo. i tried it as an all over product (shampoo & conditioner) and it didn't work well for my hair. as a shampoo it works great as long as i still condition the ends. i am on my second bottle.

I have a feeling different hair types will have different experiences with this product. It is perfect for mine. It leaves my hair and scalp in perfect condition. Also, gives more volume than I get with typical volumizing shampoo. I ran out and had to use regular shampoo/conditoner that left my scalp itchy and flaky. I recommend that anyone who is curious about Wen should try it for themselves rather than basing their choice on other people's reviews.
