Great alternative to powder

Quick Take: matte finish, natural looking, luminous glow
First off, the included brush in pretty worthless. It's way too small and not fluffy enough to blend this over your face. The actual powder is great though. It doesn't make you too tanned, just give you a nice glow, a great alternative to the translucent finishing powders that can make you look ashy or powdery. Leaves skin looking more natural and healthy, not orange in any way. The dispenser is unique, some people have complained about it, but I way prefer it to getting product everywhere. It stays tidy and neat and dispenses a good amount. If you need more just press on it again and a little more pops out. I would buy this again.

Great Matte Finish Bronzer

This Bronzing powder feels great on the skin and gives a natural glow with great usability on multiple types of skin tones. Keep in mind the included Kabuki brush is small at best, but I do use it for on the go. The Bronzer is easily dispensed and even amounts pour out of the sieve included in the bronzer.

I really like this bronzer and feel that it gives a very natural looking glow. The brush is basically useless (which is why I took off one star). It is way too small and stiff to be effective. The product is great though and is just the right shade for medium skin. If you are extrememly light, this may be too dark. It is very blendable. The only other slight gripe I have is the small hole that dispenses the product. However, it just takes a tiny bit of bronzer for your entire face. Overall, it is a nice product.

The powder is amazing. Very light and still gives you some coverage. I ordered bronze and I'm about an olive skin tone; you could hardly tell I was wearing it. The brush however is so small, I can't imagine what you'd even be able to use it for. It's the size of a pen cap except a little thicker.

Orange on my fair skin

Quick Take: orange on pale skin
When I first put this on, I was very scarce with it. It's hard to get just the right amount of coverage for my skin without looking like I am orange. Sadly this wasn't for me, it would just roll down my skin as the day went on and didn't blend at all. I am fair skin and I'll just stick to being one sold color of matte.

Good powder, horrible brush

I love the color of this bronzer; it looks natural and is very buildable. The little spout thing that is supposed to realease powder when pressed does NOT work. I'm not sure if I broke it, or if it's just bad. I have to turn it upside down and pour the pigment in the lid (but I do that with all my powders, so it's not such a huge hassle). Plus, the lid feels super cheap, but hasn't broken on me yet. The brush is a total joke. It's super tiny and not very soft, plus it sheds like there's no tomorrow. Mine broke the day I got it... I bought this product for the bronzer anyway, so I just threw out the brush...

Quick Take: good value, travel ready
This Bronzing powder feels great on the skin and looks very natural with plenty of build-a-bility. The retractable Kabuki brush is very petite, nice for purse or travel. The bristles are very soft and the head is compact. I was very pleased with the amount of product for the price of this set.

I love the bronzing powder. Looks natural and I can control how dark the looks to match the tan I have at any time. Helps with the oil too. The brush was disappointing...too small and stiff. I use a regular powder brush and it works great.

Quick Take: pretty
The actual powder is fab b/c the color is realistic and it feels invisible on the skin. However, the mini-brush is terrible. The bristles were stiff and it came apart on the second use. The packaging is cute too. Definitely recommend the product but use your own brush!

Yes I gt it because it was for $15 only. Well, the only thing I don't like is that the container is small and has edges that bigger brush can not fit in... And I actually hate the way you are supposed to get it out.. I always get it on me or things around... But the texture is good. Just the packaging is not awesome to my opinion. I have no complaints about it being the size it is, just the edges..

Good matte bronzer-works on fair skin

I really like this bronzer. I think every woman needs a good matter bronzer in her collection. You can use this to contour and/or just give you that sunkissed look. I didnt like the Kabuki-but didnt buy it for that anyway. The container is small, but a little goes a long way. The packaging is unique in that there is a tiny hole in the center, you push around the hole to get it to dispense the perfect amount of product. DO NOT DO THIS WHILE LOOKING IN THE HOLE OR BRONZER WILL GET EVERYWHERE, turn container upside down and dispense into cap or palette by GENTLY pushing around the sides of the hole. This doesnt give any orangey or red hue like some bronzers which is what I like about it, its very natural looking. Tarte does list this product on their website as vegan too. It's not tested on animals, like all Tarte products. I use this as I would any matte bronzer, applying it with a large fluffy brush to my cheekbones, temple, below the jaw line, and down the neck. What I like most about it is how natural the finish is. Many bronzers look unnatural on me because I'm so fair, this one looks like my own skin just got a little tan! I know this is described as a "finishing powder," but it's basically just a really finely milled powder bronzer. I love that it's paraben free. They should sell this without the brush-totally unnecissary.

I love Tarte! I just returned from Hawaii and this held up to the humidity and my oily/combination skin. I like to even out my tan (olive) but want a natural look and this does it beautifully. Also, at 49 and menopausal, my skin is different; breaking out and getting wrinkles simultaneously! Tarte's Amazonian Clay Bronze Finishing Powder calms my skin but doesn't cause blemishes! The brush was fantastic for traveling but probably wouldn't use it everyday. I might put it in my cosmetic bag for my handbag though.

Grabbed this in sale- it's one of my favorites. I actually like this better then Nars that I have. The jar is a pain to work with but I've learned to just keep it upside down and squeeze out extra for the next time I use it. The color is nice, not orange and it lasts- at least on me it does. I find it goes with my light to medium skin and I put a color on the apples of my cheeks to brighten it up. Glad I bought it. The brush I have no use for and again the jar -kind of a pain. 4 stars for this.

Natural Color But No Glow

Quick Take: neutral tones, easy, pricey for quality
The bronzer adds a natural looking "medium/tan" color for those with neutral or pink undertones. The unfortunate part is that it eliminates any glow/dewy look your foundation might have. I range from Fair to Medium in BE foundations and am using this as a bridge between Fairly Medium and Medium. To keep/add a more natural glow I just buff more mineral veil than I normally would over the bronzer.

i've been dying to try the taste amazonian clay products, and when i saw that this product was on sale for only $15, i had to give it a try. Like all the other reviewers said, the brush that comes with the set is a joke. i just used my old BE kabuki brush.
I tend to be oily around the t-zone, but this product really did help absorb oil and keep my face shine free for awhile longer than without using any products. i love that it is a bronze shade. since moving to Seattle, i have become quite pale. This bronzer added just the right amount of brown to my face to make me look sun-kissed.
i just using this product as a setting powder over my BB cream. i will definitely buy this product again.

Bad Packaging, Great Color

I had to return this product because of its poor packaging. There is a TINY hole in the center of the container that you are supposed to press on to dispense the powder. It was extremely hard to get any powder out of the hole no matter how hard I pressed, and when some finally did come out it just ended up all over my fingers. I was very disappointed because the product itself is great.. perfect matte bronze color, looked totally natural, no orange hue. If Tarte made the packaging more functional I would definitely buy again!
