Great product

Quick Take: long lasting
I used the OPI gel system for the first time two weeks ago. I had been using another at-home gel system, that never lasted more than a week and looked terrible after 5 days. The OPI products have lasted a full two weeks and still look great! I'm very impressed.

Quick Take: shiny and durable
It works well with all of the gel polishes I've tried, and with regular polishes, too. ( as long as you let them dry THOROUGHLY) before applying top coat. I took off one star for the price, as I've tried other gel top coats that work as well for 1/2 the price. Super shiny though!

Quick Take: sephora by opi gelshine base coat
This is a great base coat! It isn't thick like another base I used. It grabs the color, and I don't think I had as much trouble with the gel polish settling around my cuticles.

Don't try to use it as a top coat too. I tried that last night, thinking it could probably be used as base and top coat, boy was I wrong! The one nail I put it on was ruined. It was not shiny and you could tell something was off on that nail. Just FYI. But its an excellent base! now I just need to purchase the top coat..

I was using a diffrent gel base and that one bubled and ruined my manicure. This is excellent, love it! all the Gelshine polishes are top of the line.
