Gigantic Disappointment, Waste of Money

I have hormonal acne prone skin. I've tried all kinds of foundations, so I strolled into Sephora and this looked right up my alley, like it would be lightweight (and therefore ok with my pores to prevent so much cloggage) I took it home and it was awful. Medium coverage, but impossible to blend. Got BIG TIME cakey when putting a finishing veil overtop. The packaging says 'high definition' but I've never had a foundation that makes it so obvious that I'm wearing foundation. Also, for long wear this is a no. At the end of the day it wore off in some places but caked in the crevices of your face.
The other day the container I have fell on the floor and it broke. I celebrated.

Not for oily skin

If you have oily skin like I do avoid this foundation at all costs. It has a dewy finish so it enhances the oiliness. It does feel super lightweight which is what I loved but it just made me look extremely oily

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, light weight, blendable
I have struggled with finding a good foundation, I try one and use it until it runs out and then I don't purchase it again. This foundation is different, I finished my first bottle and purchased a second. This foundation provides medium coverage and feels so light weight! If you want more coverage it layers well, while still feeling light. It blends seamlessly with my natural skin tone, and lasts all day! I think this will finally be my foundation, the search is over!

I absolutely love the coverage this foundation gave. It wasn't too heavy and looked natural. The only thing I did not like was that my bottle started leaking at the neck and I ended up having to throw away 1/4 of my foundation. SAD DAY!

After a suggestion by my sister, I decided to purchase this makeup and I can't say enough about it. Not only does it go on smooth, it is also lightweight and hides any imperfections on my face. I have loved all things Urban Decay with past purchases, and I was not disappointed in this product.

Lightweight and it lets your skin breath.. I have acne probe skin and this doesn't break me out! It is not drying and the light defusing particles make u look brighter. It is fantastic!! Love it so much!!

I LOVE this foundation! I'm a very pale girl so most foundations look darker, yellow, and cakey! I'm so happy I decided to try this because it doesn't do that at all! Love this foundation

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing
I've purchased this foundation twice in different shades and I really like it. I use Smashbox Photofinish primer underneath it and the foundation goes on very smoothly and has a silky texture. I have acne so I have to build up several layers on my bad spots and I still don't feel like I'm wearing a ton of makeup. I use Makeup Forever HD powder on top and my face looks fresh pretty much all day.

The formula is pretty thin and goes on quite sheer. You do need to layer if you want more coverage (and if you have acne or scars or anything you'll still need concealer). But I was surprised at how well it stayed on even during some hot days. Has a pretty natural looking finish and doesn't crease or settle into pores.

What first attracted me to Urban Decay is that it doesn't test on animals. I made a conscience decision to move toward cruelty free products. Check! Second, this line had a great range of colors to choose from. I'm black with light/fare skin. I was able to find a great match.
It goes on smooth and it blends into the skin. This foundation doesn't run even when I was sweating. I've worn alone, with BB cream and with primer. It looked just as good alone as it did with the extras. I was able to put some on parts of my face that needed coverage and leave other areas without coverage - couldn't even tell!
Will buy again and again and again.

absolutely love this foundation. It's wearable all day and provides a clean, even coverage. I am on the redder side so on the really red days I mix with smashbox's green primer and I end up with really great even skin tones. It's flexible enough to wear without the primer and I still have good skin tone.

After hearing about NAKED products through friends for a while now, I decided to finally buy some foundation. I am SO glad I did, it looks and feels AMAZING. It's like wearing nothing. It matches my skin tone perfectly and after using products like Loreal and Covergirl before this, I'm definitely not going back. It's super lightweight, smooth, and doesn't leave any lines. Beautiful :)

I wanted a change from a mineral foundation. This foundation is light & dries very matte, love the finish! When it goes on, you don't think it will have that type of feel at first - I was skeptical. However, it wears very well for such a light foundation throughout my work day. Great summer / everyday wear foundation!

This is by far my favorite foundation. The first time I bought it, I had a gift card and I swore to myself that I wouldn't spend that kind of $$ on it again. But it lasted FOREVER... so it was well worth the price. The coverage is amazing and my skin always looks great and not cakey.

First liquid foundation I love

This is my first review, but I had to write one for my HG liquid foundation. This will probably be long, but I hope it helps!
I have combo/very oily in t-zone skin, and have never found a liquid foundation I have liked, let alone love! I previously used Bare minerals Matte foundation for years. It was the only thing that worked for me. After having my kids, though, my skin has changed and the BM foundation was a hit or miss on any given day. (Miss days would accentuates fine lines, but also transfer like crazy from lack of oil control. Hit days were perfect, oil-free days with amazing, natural coverage. Who knows!)
I tried using different brushes to apply and various moisturizers, to no avail, since I still loved the look I would get on the good days. Finally, I decided to start testing out liquid foundations because I figured they wouldn't settle into my fine lines as much (and I don't have many at all, which is weird that the BM would make it look worse than it is).
After trying countless (cruelty-free only) liquid foundations, that would give me natural but good coverage, yet not turn me into a pan of crisco, I decided to give Urban Decay Naked Skin a whirl. And what a whirl it was! The best decision I could've made for my face in a long time!
It is demi-matte, medium coverage on me while feeling so lightweight and looking so natural. I use my fingers to apply just a few dots around my face, then buff and blend with either the UD optical blurring brush or the RT expert face brush. Omg the finished look is amazing!
It isn't 100% perfect at keeping oil at bay, but does the same as my BM matte foundation. Nothing one time blotting with blotting paper doesn't fix quickly.
I use 4.0 (sometimes 5.0 when I am more tan.). For reference, in the past, I have used/tried BM Matte foundation in (golden) light, MUFE Mat Velvet in 140, Sephora instant radiance in Camel, Kat Von D in medium 52 (liked this one too, but it was not transfer-resistant on me at all, as it claims), and MAC NC30.

I tend to not wear foundation, as I hate if people can tell I'm wearing it, but this one is perfect if you're looking for a lightweight/ minimal foundation. I forget I am wearing it! It might not be the best if you are looking for a covering foundation though, as I've found if I put some on a scratch on my chin, it doesn't entirely cover it up, though I have never tried to layer it too much.

When the Sephora consultant asked me what type of foundation I was looking for, I told her I wanted a good covering foundation that doesn't look heavy. As I get older, I notice that heavy foundation makes me look older. But I wanted coverage! The consultant had me try the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation. She suggested that I use a concealer for spots and that worked well. Then, she applied the Urban Decay, which I always associated with younger women. Not True!! The foundation went on well and looked fabulous! The foundation is pricey, but it is lasting a long time, you just need a small amount on your foundation brush. I used Laura Mercier powder to finish the look and set the foundation. I look more youthful wearing this foundation. See...an old dog just learned a new trick: concealer before foundation
