Fantastic palette!

I love Dior shadows, but have had spotty reviews from their trios. Sometimes the colors and formula don't meet expectation. Not this one - it is fantastic!
I am very fair with green, hooded eyes. I purchased the "nude" palette and the colors are perfect. The highlight has a slight shimmer - not glittery. The contour goes on a little darker than it appears in the pan. It is subtle and lovely. The black is matte and makes a lovely liner wet or dry.
I have lots of nude shadows - urban decay "naked", Dior "incognito" and Lorac "professional palette". This Dior rates right at the top of all of them!
This will be a go-to and travel palette for me - would recommend and repurchase.

Worth the price

I was unsure when I first opened this little Dior palette. It seemed so...simple for the price, but I decided to give it a go and wow! Love it! The sheen is so subtle and sophisticated, it creates a daytime "smokey" eye and the packaging, is well, Dior. Simply marvelous. I'm going to try the Ivory Palette next. The only draw back is that since it is so subtle, you have to really layer it on to get a nice effect.

I wanted a palette that had all 3 (deep black liner, base and highlighter) in one since I use separate/diferent brands for each. Mmmmm I guess I had higher expectations... the quality of the shadows is indeed good BUT the taupe colors (Nude) did not work for me. I found the highlighter to be a bit too loose-sparklish. I was expecting a soft shimmery velvet finish (like other Dior palettes). I think the colors would flatter people with tan skin color, not my case (pale/yellowish skin).
Sad.. but this is going back.

i've tried many different smokey eye palettes, and have found the black always to be more dramatic than i'd like. this one is perfect. it's a soft black. the other two colors are wonderful. it's my go to eye shadow now.

I have the ivory and I love it. Classic Dior quality, does exactly as it claims, also very versatile with other eyeshadow. I have porcelain skin and I need light ivories and they are so hard to find. Most are too sheer or are too silver white - then I look too made up and dated and even old!!! Can always count on Dior for sophisticated, well made products.

Quick Take: natural, soft
I first bought this Palatte in the Nude & two days layer bought the Ivory as well. I love a subtle eye look & these are perfect for defining the eyes, making them look awake while still giving the no make up appearance. I love the sparkle you can use it for a hint of glimmer or pile it on for a full in sparkeling look. If I could I would buy 10 of each so I never have to live with out them!

This is an outstanding palette. Extremely well constructed, the mirror pops up when you slide it open. The colors are beautiful, a slate matte color and the shimmery nude shades are a perfect complement.

I bought the nude palette. You can't go wrong with Dior shadows, but keep in mind these are very light colors. It gives a light golden glow, but basically matches my skintone. The glittery color is totally transparent with shimmer. I like to wear the golden colors all over, and lightly blend the gray into the outer corner and crease. Recommend swatching in a store before buying.

I have every Dior palette that has ver been produced and when I saw these, and watched the video on how to create the graphic look, I can pretty much dupicte anything I see, but the liner for this triad cetaily left soemthing to be desired. Even with water and water, it wans't going to stay black or dark or graphic at all. I do like just the two other colors, the taupe/nude and the shimmery color, the lighter one, because I can use it in so may different places. So after purchasing two because I figured that I would be using it everyday and running out, quickly, but it urned out that wasn't the case.

When they say "nude" they really mean it! I used a eyeshadow primer with this and I could barely tell anything was there..The highlighter was way to glittery for my taste. The glitter from the highlighter was Pretty much the only thing that was noticeable. A few hours after wearing this eyeshadow, I noticed that the glitter traveled to the rest of my face :(

Makes me look awake as opposed to made up

Quick Take: a good night's sleep in a box!
Slides on easily, stays on an entire day. And that counts a humidity-laden ferry crossing! Those of you looking for super-saturated pigments, this is probably not it. Unless you're very dark skinned. What this did for my very pale, fair skin was make my dark green eyes pop and my eyes look awake and fresh. Perfect for an afternoon out along A1A with a highly desirable other. This is perfect for those times when obvious makeup is inappropriate, but you want to look like a better/younger version of yourself.

I was very taken by the contrast of the Ivory shadow and iridescent highlighter against the black liner. I've played around with a few different looks as this is a very versitile palette. I adore the "wet" look of the highlighter, it's very cool. All in all a great buy and I'm considering purchasing the Nude set.

I love Dior's shadows. They are sheer when you want them to be and very pigmented with layering. They are very blendable and natural. This palette is perfect for a nude smoky eye.

Perfect Nude

I absolutely adored this palette. I used it exactly as directed with the three points of highlighter and it looks like the perfect nude/natural but still glow-y eye. To switch it up I used a gel liner with a little cat eye instead of the included liner, and it looks awesome. Just ordered the ivory color. I am already worried what to do if this gets discontinued.

...because who *doesn't* love Dior eyeshadows? And I've been craving this set in Ivory since I first saw it. But, as I feared might be the case, it is very light in color, and even though I like a pale eye with dark liner, it's just too light for me. Shade #2, designed for the inner and outer eye, is more glittery than I'm used to with Dior. I'm taking it back, and I may check out the Nude set to see if it does more what I'm looking for.
