Clumpy, poor packaging, poor results

I really wanted to like this eye cream but was disappointed in nearly every aspect. The cream does not absorb well into skin. It clumps up, which I have never experienced in an eye cream, and I saw no results as far as lightening dark circles. Plus, the tube split at the base after barely 3 weeks of use! Very disappointing for this expensive cream. I used to be a big fan of Clinique products overall but have been very disappointed in recent years.

Not worth the money

Quick Take: slightly covers
I mix and match a lot of products, and thought I'd give this a try, as I have slight dark circles under my eyes. I used this product for a while, and while I don't expect miracles, I saw no change. The product also dried out the area under my eyes, so it actually looked wrinkly. I returned this product.

I went into Sephora and asked the skincare expert for help managing the dark circles under my deep-set eyes. She immediately rushed to this product and told me to trust her. So I bought it. She said to use it every morning and evening, before putting on the rest of your makeup and just let it rest for a bit. Then to add the concealer, etc. I am IN LOVE with this product. It's only been 3 days but I already see a huge difference. Just remember to use concealer or under eye tinted color WITH this product. This is just a base layer I think. It's amazing. I can't believe people are giving it one star.

As mentioned in other comments, this product is tinted, but not enough so to completely hide the dark circles. This product primarily works on the outer edges on the eye, with little to no coverage as you work towards the inside of the eye. Some days, this product does not work at all. After putting it on, it makes the skin under my eyes look bright, though oily, and sometimes even accentuates the dark circles further.

Not really an undereye cream

This product is not really an undereye cream at all. It's tinted but not enough to serve as a real concealer, and the consistency is a bit oily. I tried it a few times but had to put my other concealer on top of it if I wanted to cover my dark circles. After a month of use, I also see no differences in the dark areas under my eyes. I would not recommend this and won't buy it again.

I have Mediterranean heritage and have ask ways had dark circles under my eyes. I tried product for several weeks with no improvement whatsoever. In fact, shimmer seemed to accentuate dark areas. Returned product

I have been using this for half a year with no difference in the darkness of the circles under my eyes. The cooling tip is nice and helps with the puffiness in the morning, but the circles are still there even though I used this twice a day every day!!

I would not recommend this product. I usually love Clinique products, but this did not meet my expectations. I tried to use only a little of the product since it's for the small under eye area, but a lot squeezed out at once. And the color of it did not match my skin tone and it only comes in one shade. It is more like a cover up then something you use under make-up, which was not what I was looking for. It made my under eye area very shiny and did nothing to disguise my dark circles.

i've been using for about a month and has had no effect on the dark circles under my eyes. the silver tip is cold, so it will reduce some puffiness, but any cold metal object would do that.

I have SERIOUS dark circles under my eyes (have since my late teens). Used this twice a day for two months with NO visible change in the darkness. I was worried that it wouldn't moisturize enough and I would have trouble with fine lines at the corners, but they actually may be a little better than before. But for the dark circles, don't expect any change.

I have very sensitive skin (any kind of fragrance or too many chemicals causes lots of irritation), but Clinique's products are consistently successful for me. I've always had dark circles, and I've had some undereye redness as well (in addition to the usual dark circles). A Sephora staff member suggested this product to me as a way to hydrate and soothe, while also helping my undereye concealer go on smoother. I've had it for about a month now and so far it's been working well.
My dark circles already seem softened (less purple), and the redness is gone. And as with all of Clinique's products, I've had no trouble at all with skin irritation.

I have naturally fair skin, and my also unfortunate natural underye circles didn't fail to co yeast against my porcelain complexion. I use this every morning for a few months now and my circles are increasingly better! I noticed a difference around 2 weeks later, and even a close friend said they I wa looking much brighter eyed. One of my fav products!!

I'm not saying this has really helped my darkness, I don't feel it has. I like using it because it sets down a nice smooth base for my under eye concealer. I don't notice a huge difference in color when I use it, but when I go without it for a few days I can really tell the difference.
