I have used the matte before so I knew I wanted to by the products. Was unsure which starter kit to get. Went with this one and it had everything. Really great!!! If I have an event to do I use the full kit and if I just need a little oil concealment I just use the matte. The sizes are small, but I am keeping it and refilling them because I travel a lot. Perfect little travel kit. The product should last me for 8 months and I use it everyday. Inside the bag is two smaller bags that are plastic just in case the air pressure changes. Still room in the bag for a couple of extras I have. I also love that it goes by undertone. Makes me look vibrant and healthy. Witch I have some serious health issues and don't look healthy unless I have make up.

I've wanted to try BareMinerals for a while and finally decided too. This product is incredible. It covers wonderfully, I have awful under eye circles and the concealer covers them nicely. It just makes your skin feel so good! I also feel that my skin has cleared up nicely since using it. The primer is a must have and feels so silky! I will definately keep using.

This kit seemed the best trial kit available because it included both regular and matte foundation. I experimented and found that I like a mixture of half regular and half matte foundation. I can barely see the product on my skin and it evens out and covers my redness and spider veins pretty well (nothing works completely). There are a lot of extras with this kit that make it a good value. I love the warmth and I keep the mineral veil in my purse to touch up during the day.

I have oily skin with some dark spots from past acne. I am Chinese and bought the Light - for Yellow Undertones box.
I was skeptical about powder as foundation plus I am frugal when spending money on make up. The brushes themselves are already a good deal for the price, and I get to play with the concealer and bronzer. The mini pressed powder is a perfect size for a small touch up, which is all I needed.

I've been wanting to try this for a long time and I am pretty disappointed. It takes way to long to apply and I am not a fan of the coverage. I feel like its very obvious that I'm wearing foundation and it just seems to set on the skin instead of blending in and covering flaws. My pores were still loud and proud while still my face still looks cakey. It does get better once I use a sponge and blend it though- but its just another step that I wouldn't regularly have to take in my morning routine. I'm really trying to like the product because with summer fast approaching, I like that it has SPF. I'm just so used to liquid foundation and setting it with powder, that I can do both and most of my other makeup in about a minute. And also, if I stopped sleeping in makeup so much, maybe my pores wouldn't be so disgusting! So bareminerals, I'm giving you guys a 3 star review because I am going to try my best to not of wasted 70 bucks on your product and get used to spending more time on my makeup and taking care of my skin. Please don't continue to disappoint me...

I have had trouble finding make-up that I like, that has good coverage and I generally do not like how powder foundations look but this starter kit and the Bare Minerals makeup is great. I like the way the makeup feels, the coverage is great and I was surprised how little I needed to have full coverage. I had been using smashbox previously and was concerned about switching brands- so far I am glad I made the switch and I don't see myself going back to smashbox (although I do love their Photo Op Eye Brightener and Primer- I will still probably use those)

I'm a dog groomer and am exposed to water, heat from the blow dryers and humidity. Before trying bareMinerals I never wore make up because it never stayed on. bare Minerals stands up to conditions of the job and Mt skin had never felt our looked better!

The most natural light makeup with good coverage that ive ever felt. I love it, the only thing is the concealer doesn't really work on my dark eyes so I have to use something else then the powder but its all good.

I absolutely love this kit- I previously had used the just the BM foundation but after trying this kit I love using all the products together. Would like to try the oil free primer and see how that works with my skin, though the primer included in this kit wasn't too bad but the weather is getting warmer which means my combination skin is getting oily. The brushes are great and the mineral veil is great to have on hand for those oil slick spots.

Brushes: Sizes are great for these products only
Foundation powders: I have very large pores and my skin is oily. After a couple of hours you could see my huge pores popping through the product and my nose was oily to the point that the product had separated from the areas leaving dots. The term melting off took a whole new meaning in my opinon because it really was.
Warmth: I am fair skinned and it was too dark for me.
Overall this product is nice for others but I don't recommend oily skin users at all!
Brushes: Sizes are great for these products only
