Quick Take: good value, blendable
This palette is perfect for varying levels of drama in smokey eye makeup. The colors blend beautifully, and the matt look works really well for me because I already have a defined crease in my lid. I finally found a smokey eye makeup that doesn't make me look like I have a black eye.

Quick Take: portable, good value
This Palette is every matte girl's dream! I use it literally everyday for both natural and dramatic looks as well, I also use it to fill in my brows! I seriously get so much use and versatility out of this, I think it's definitely a staple palette that everyone needs.

This palette is great. I use it daily. I like that all the colors are matte. They are all highly pigmented and blend easily. I have no complaints...well maybe one: the packaging is so flimsy that I'm always afraid I will break it. SO I would never travel with this palette.

Quick Take: good value
I have been on the search for a good matte palette for months now and decided to give In The Know a try. Never used Stila products before, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was most certainly not disappointed! The shadows are not as buttery-soft as Urban Decay, but the pigmentation and staying power are completely out of this world. They all go on smoothly and blend very easily without becoming 'muddy' on the lids, and they are very flattering--they really make my eyes pop! If you are looking for some matte shades, DEFINITELY give this palette a try :)

Quick Take: good value
I LOVE this palette. The eyeshadows are indeed matte and go on like butter! You can create any type of look from very natural to very dramatic. I love Fire. This palette also brings out a lot of eye colors. I think it'd be very flattering for anybody. This is a great investment and i highly recommend it!

I have been looking for a good matte palette and I found it! I really like the colors for a natural daytime matte look or for an evening smoldering matte look. The eye shadows go on velvety smooth and not ashy like other matte shadows I've used. I highly recommend this palette. Only negative is the price:(

Quick Take: portable, good value
I picked this up for my mom a few weeks ago and ended up stealing it for myself! I was dying to experiment with all of the matte shades especially the burnt orange color! While I have enjoyed using this palette (especially for everyday) I can't say that it is MY FAVORITE matte palette. I recommend either the LORAC Pro Palette OR the Too Faced Matte Eye Palette. Those seem to blend a bit more effortlessly and last longer on the lids. Don't get me wrong this is a nice palette and it is valued at a reasonable price point but I would give it a 4/5 stars because the colors are simply not as pigmented as the other options I mentioned. Perfect for everyday wear. I'm still in school, so this this is perfect for making my eyes pop without overdoing it. The eyeliner is also gorgeous. Highly recommend this for everyday wear or matte smoky eyes.

Best Matte Palette EVER

Quick Take: good value, pigmented, smooth texture
This is actually the best matte palette I've ever had and it deserves all 5 starts! The value is amazing, you're getting 10 super pigmented shades for $50! The texture of the shadows is like butter so it blends easily and the pigmentation is very strong. All the colours are very usable, even the orange! I know a lot of people don't like the orange but I usually blend it into the crease if I'm doing a more dramatic eye look, it just warms up the colours slightly and really makes a difference.

What a great palette

I am so pleased with these shadows. I absolutely love the matte look. I don't feel awkward wearing shadows now. The shimmery was just too much. The shadow goes on smoothly and blends really well. The pigmentation is also very nice. I never have to swipe the shadow more than twice for a slightly deeper crease. Depending on the color (like the darks), I only need one swipe. I really like that the shadows never settle in the creases and folds of my eyes in the corners. I do use a primer first as my lids are oily and the shadow stays put. It looks as good at night as it did when I first applied it. No fading at all. The liner is a nice plus. Good color and it also stays put. This is definitely worth the cost.

I really love the color in this palette. They work well as eyeshadow or liner. I'm never to pleased with the cardstock container. I suppose it is more environmentaly sound, but I am concnered about moisure damage.

Im so over shimmer and could not find the perfect matte palette for my olive skin tone. Colors either blended right into my face or washed me out. I am SO obsessed with the colors, I have used both wet and dry and love the look book!

Quick Take: portable, good value
I hope they never stop selling this palette so I can buy it everytime I run out. This is my daily go-to eyeshadow palette. The colors work really well with each other and I'm glad it's a neutral colors without being too basic. However, I completely recommend a primer with these. They will stay much better and be more pigmented. They are light but it is a light palette. Build up color is fine for me because sometimes I don't want a super dark brown, you know? I am in love with this palette and don't be scared of the fire color, it is beautiful when applied lightly or in a crease or anything! I bought the Sephora brand classic small shadow brush and it fits perfectly where the eyeliner is. If you want a matte palette choose this one! With a primer!
