I love the coverage. The Sephora rep suggested adding a little primer to the foundation (I use NARS) & mixing it in my palm before blending onto face...Awesome idea...breaks up the thickness a little.

Quick Take: buildable coverage, long wearing, oil-free
I've been through so many foundations at sephora this was probably like the third one i tried and trust me there has been plenty more after.i overall loved this foundation, the color match was perfect for me i am a golden tone with a yellowish undertone i think. Well whatever most foundations are either too light too dark or too pink for me. this foundation covers very well and the concelear is a plus too! i however found the brush and spatula very unnecessary. i could of gone without either or. the only downfall of this foundation for me was that it was not MATTE, i hate the dewyness or shiney-ness as i would call it, it left on my face. SO ANNOYING. i remember going back to sephora and telling my SA this same exact thing & he told me to purchase a setting powder, this was back then when i did not know the importance of setting powder. haha, anyways i would def try this again for i have not found my holy grail foundation. and btw i think i was going through a bad breakout from bare minerals so idk if this foundation made me break out or not. i also got compliments when wearing this foundation, someone actually thought it was MY BARE SKIN. so thats a major plus

I tried Kat Von D Lock it (looked nice on, then caked/oxzided/desert-like), Estee Lauder DW (dull throughout the day w/primer) and also Tarte Clay (which was OK), and this TOPS them all by far. I really wanted a full coverage foundation, and this is definitely it after 2 layers! It's super light weight, won't transfer and stays satin-matte throughout the day (even in humidity and rain!). I don't use the brush, but its nice to have regardless. Overall, this also does NOT settle in my smile lines (which i'm working on with seaberry oil!) and it absolutely stays flawless for at least 9 hours! I love that when I go out in the even, I can build it up to stay at a full, flawless coverage! I was getting frustrated with getting so many samples.. Stila All Day is what I just kept coming back to. Undeniably reliable and flawless.. get compliments all the time. I use a sponge as I find it gives me a thicker applciation that doesnt even look cakey! get a sample or simply just BUY!

Quick Take: long wearing
I bought this today after having a salesperson try it on me in the store. It is the best and most natural coverage I have ever had with a foundation, and I love how natural it looks once it is on. I also got a stila blush that I love with this. However, once I took it off at night it was so noticeable that my acne under the foundation had become much worse (deeper and some new ones). I am so disappointed, but I will have to return this tomorrow.

I love this foundation that comes with the concealer and a little brush. First impression is good, nothing bad to say about it. Does not break me out. Lightweight and the shade is good. I will test it for a longer time and maybe write another update review.

I've never worn foundation because I couldn't find any that looked natural; every time I see someone with a cakey face, I cringe. I've only worn foundation for performances when I used to dance (I got matched with a Stila oil-free foundation that I believe is now discontinued), so I turned to Stila again because the first time I tried their foundation, the results were gorgeous. I love this foundation because my skin looks just as naturally flawless no matter what I encounter. I normally only wear LM tinted moisturizer on my dry skin but I think I will reserve that for colder months now that I've found something that has the same natural finish and better staying power.

This foundation has such a beautiful finish. It leaves my skin matte but still natural looking. I don't use a lot, I do one pretty thin layer and it gives me a medium coverage with just that. I wouldn't try building it up because it's pretty thick.

Purchased this out of desperation and willingness to try something new, and have LOVED it ever since, texture is really smooth and lightweight, does not feel heavy on the face. Leaves a very nice matte finish

Quick Take: great color
I got this foundation after a Sephora representative recommended it. I was looking for something that would not come off so easily after a few hours of wear, especially on my nose and chin. This did not meet that standard. In fact, my whole face seemed really greasy. I didn't change anything else. The color was perfect though, so I'm super bummed it didn't work out. Returned the product.

Quick Take: buildable coverage
I loved this foundation as a sample, purchased it loved it the first few months now... not so much. I think it's breaking me out. Wears o.k through the day, though it looks a bit patchy around blemishes when I have them. Very easy to go over board and look cakey. I absolutely HATE THE SPATULA, it serves no purpose and is too messy. The concealer is mediocre ( imo ), doesn't really cover anything and settles in fine lines. If you have oily or combo, you may want to use a powder. It leaves a very oily or extra "dewy" finish, wears decent after a few hours but does get patchy and oily at end of day. I'm not sure if the foundation is breaking me out or other products I started using around the same time, but I doubt i'll repurchase this again.

I'm 43 and was a former sun worshiper so I have a lot of uneven skin tone, freckles, redness etc. To complicate things further I'm allergic to anything with a "one" at the end, dimethicone, simethicone or anything with propylene glycol. Those products are in absolutely everything! But not in this make up. It goes on creamy and has a little spatula attached to the lid so you get to use every bit of the foundation. It has great covereage, really great, my skin looks virtually flawless without it being cakey or sinking into those fine lines around my eyes. In pictures the make up shows up highlighting my skin. I love this foundation. I've tried everything over the years and this is the best. ALso my skin is very sensitive and still breaks out. Never a problem with this foundation. Oh and it also comes with a little concealer in the cap ( even a little mirror) and a nice brush. I use the concealer under my eyes and anywhere else that I have a darker area or a shadowy area.

Liked the texture and feel. The color was wrong turn orangey on me had to return. A pump dispenser would have been nicer it can be real messy.

I have a hard time finding foundation will last all day, and this wasn't exactly the exception, but it stays pretty well on my oily skin overall. What I REALLY love about this foundation is the packaging and the value that it offers. I refuse to buy foundation or makeup that comes in a pump dispenser because when you near the end of a bottle, you end up wasting so much. This packaging however allows you to literally scrape the side walls with the built in spatular and I'm sure it will last a while! And on top of that, you get a great brush, and built in concealer that matches perfectly. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Since I have an oily T-zone I do use Becca matte primer underneath and this makes the foundation not get shiny. Only have to touch up with powder once during the day. Did break out a tiny bit because it seems that my pores opened after using but I do have way less black heads and improved skin tone. The foundation in the color Tone is the best match that I have ever had. This did not oxidized either which was a huge plus. Minus a star because I would not wear this everyday.

This is one of the best liquid foundations for my skin I have found. It luckily was a good color match and its gives full coverage ( I have hyperpigmentation) while maintaining the look of natural, are skin. Also it has little transfer and lasts all day.

I had high expectations for this foundation, but I was dissapointed. The color match was great, but the consistency was on the oily and shiny side for me. It made my skin break out so it went back. Also I had to set it like crazy which made for a cakey appearance. The concealer was terrible.

I was so excited when I purchased this product because it was a perfect skin match! When I tried it I fell in love not only is it a smooth formula but the concealer is incredibly creamy and offers such an incredible amount of coverage! The brush was okay (definitely not my favorite tho but good try) The only downsides were my skin look a tad oily (I have combo skin) after the foundation so you have to set it an if I have oily skin I would stay away from this product. It will look a bit too light at first but conforms to your skin color. Sadly, I returned it because it made my skin have volcanos! Usually I have great skin the only problem is that it's dull but for some reason my skin blew up when I started using this. If you have oily or slightly acne prone skin I wouldn't recommend this (or try it, maybe it's just because my hormones or my family genes) Overall, it is a great foundation/concealer/brush kit! This would be great for beginners or if you want medium coverage!

This stuff is awesome! Buildable coverage so you can go as light or full coverage as you need. I have combination skin and also breakout frequently. This stuff doesn't aggravate my acne at all and also provides the full coverage I need! Totally worth every penny.

Didn't match up to Stila Illuminating Foundation..

I LOVED the Stila Illuminating Foundation in 60 Watt. As Stila no longer makes this, I had a Sephora employee help me with finding something similar. Although it looked okay in the shop, once I purchased and walked outside in the daylight, it looked chalky. So, had to return this and begin again!

...the foundation seeps through the lid when closed and the concealer is a joke as well as the dumb spatula attached to it.
Other than that this is a winner! I still pay the 44 bucks every few months!
When Im having a good skin day I dont need very much and on the days i do it goes on smoothly.
Id refrain from using a heavy moisturizer/oil before application if you have oily prone skin, my face becomes oily within a few hours. 1st aid beauty has a wonderful all in one moisturizer that pairs nicely. GET A SETTING POWDER TOO. I wasnt using powder before and due to my oily skin my foundation would get a bit splotchy by the end of the night but not after I use a powder or setting spray.
In my opinion, Tarte concealers blend very well this foundation too.
